Nek shot out of bed, awakened in the middle of night by the nightmares he had been going through. Looking around the dark hotel room to make sure Red Zero wasn't present, he walked over to the minifridge, stocked with beverages, and pulled out a soda, closing the fridge behind him. He walked back over to his bed, a tired look on his face as he straightened his ruffled pajamas.
Climbing back under the covers, his thumb ran across the tab of the soda, and he pulled up. A hiss filled the room, followed by a pop as he opened the soda. He took a sip, feeling the cool taste. He reached for a remote control, turning on the television equipped in the room. A Cakbaulauma game was on. Nek wasn't a big Cakbaulauma fan, but after a quick search through the other channels on the television, he realized that there was nothing else good on, so he settled on it.
Slowly, he drifted back to sleep, his soda can neatly set on the dresser next to him, the remote laying on his chest, the TV still on.
