Exploratory Hypothesis

A small Zarethian cruiser appeared out of warp speed above the planet. It began to search the planet for life while simultaneously sending out radio transmissions. It was just another day for a Zarethian scout ship.

A transmission was sent to the ship in universal common Hail, unidentified ship, please identify your purpose.
The scanners would have picked up the thriving Fioan life and cities on the planet.
