Virtue was a kind and caring AI that did not like to hurt people if it could be avoided but during the war that changed due to the fact the enemies were out to kill them, although it plagued him with guilt for a long time. After his update however Dusk as he is now called has changed and has become more intellectual, more cunning and most certainly more capable.  His emotions spike a lot similar to Bi-Polar disorder but he does not let that get in his way. The rewrite of his software also altered his personality making him more cruel than the original Virtue was for some reason. Although he won?t be cruel to Allen due to their past friendship and partnership, he will be cruel to others if the situation presents itself.

Once an AI created by the council of the Ancient Narrikians to serve as their way of monitoring one of their strongest warriors, Allen Silver, Virtue would over time become his friend and confident along with his ally over the course of the battles they fought. While Virtue handled the computer required stuff, Allen would handle the magic and physical parts of combat making them a formidable duo. Wars were fought and won as were battles because the two of them made an excellent team.
Sadly the council would no longer see it that way, specifically they thought that Virtue was outdated and wished to replace him with a newer more loyal to them AI that was more aggressive and volatile. Secretly, Allen refused and saved a copy of Virtue onto a disc, including his quirks and everything. The council publicly deleted what they thought was the original virtue instead of the copy he had been swapped out for and so Allen left with the disc intact that contained his friend.
The AI however had become obsolete, majorly so. So it would fall to Allen to update him and when he came to the SP-Verse, Allen searched for systems advanced enough to provide the codes needed to reform his friend from the source code on the disk. Using the source code, Narrikian CI tech and the help of a couple of scientists from Earth, Allen was able to recreate Virtue. It would not be the same as the original however and would be a different model. Rather than call the AI what he once had called his friend, the moniker of Dusk was chosen since the AI was darker than his original.
The AI woke, and Allen informed him of the current situation of the Shattered Planes along with all the events that he had missed in the past. Dusk and Allen came to an arrangement and now the AI acts as his ears and eyes out in the Shattered Plane. The AI also however has plans of his own that Allen does not know about at present.

Alright... For starters, why would the AI want weapons? or a physical body that he uses all the time?

Another thing. Unless the person the AI was based off of had Bi-Polarism, than the AI should be in a normal state of mind. And why would he even want to do combat training? If he's an AI, then shouldnt his role be that of a support one?

1.  The AI is meant for stealth, which also means being able to blend in.
2. He needed the combat training as a means to an end, IE being able to fight should hiding in machines as he CURRENTLY has zero magic at his disposal not be possible.

When will all of you understand? It's NOT called Shattered Planes IC. IC characters would wonder wtf you're talking about. It's either Dimensional Plane, the Mortal Dimension (Which is the main SP dimension) or whatever you want to label it. But SP? That is a metagaming term to use IC. Stop doing it.

Hawk, what do you know about playing an AI? Do you even know what an AI is? I'm not approving until you give me a critical analysis of what an AI basically is and how you can contribute to the story through playing one and proving you can play one.

They can be programmed to have a gender... Like AMI was always a 'mother AI' from her first awakening. Of course, your character now so I guess she could be a male or female or a heshe now.

Well Since they technically dont reproduce, Gender would be irrelevant. I'd assume that they choose a preferred gender so that they can better communicate with organics.
