Visiting Duppin
« on: November 30, 2011, 12:13:46 AM »
Duppin was  a world that was primarily composed of a pudding that was strange and unique. Really the planet itself was one of those abnormality type planets that someone would have to investigate and later gather information on.  Above the planet, incased in a barrier that protected him from space with heat, and environment and everything else stood Taji. The barrier was about the size of a fighter. However, soon he would send communications to the planet and request permission to land.

(*sighs*)

Before he could, the local patrols found him, and he was quickly surrounded by frigates, demanding identification.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

Surrounded by the Frigates, Taji thought of what identification he could give them. Giving them too much such as his genetics and what not would not lead to an advantage, if the rumors he had heard about the Relorians and the Anrufe were correct. So merely his name would have to suffice at least until either he confirmed or disproved those rumors.

"My name is Taji."

Several of the frigate pilots sigh and lay their faces in their palms at the uselessness of his words. "What is your full name, and why are you here?" They ask, working together to build a sort of webbing of spells, arcing between each other and pushing at the man's mind, spells seeking truth, empathy and monitoring his vitals while providing the backbone of a seal on his movement, as of yet unactivated.

"Taji Validus, and as to why I am here, I heard the Relorians may have specialties with sealing magic, and also have acquired high grade technology well above that of most empires out there. I came to confirm if this was true for myself or not. If it was, I would like to learn some of that sealing techniques and also more about technology in general. "

The attempts would find what he said to be the truth, but not the full truth. The full truth was that he was bored, and had decided to spend some time working to improve his skills, however meager they were.

The spells let them know he was hiding something, and the wing leader scowled. "You're hiding something from a flight of frigates with their guns trained on your heart."

"Of course I am hiding something. Why should I let you people know my heritage? That is something you don't need to know, given the ties the Anrufe may have with you. " said Taji intelligently.  "But if you insist, I am a hybrid created from 3 types of Sage DNA." But now he had rethought his decision to train here and so he merely decided that soon he would teleport away, after this conversation was clearly over. For obvious reasons he would have to be subtle about this teleport.

After being ignored, the genetic experiment waited a few moments. Time to leave since they were not paying attention and so without any flare, flash, or style to his movements, Taji teleported away as he had to be busy elsewhere. Plus he really did not like being ignored, another reason for him to run off from this situation.

Since he simply left, the patrols depart, making sure to keep on high alert. "Idiot."
