In the window that the AT field went down, Zere appeared next to Hermitage, grabbing onto his arm, a look of both anger and entertainment on his face. He growled, "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME!"

And then, he attempted to teleport both he and Hermitage off the planet.

Two Zarethian troopers, the ones holding onto hermitage, grabbed on with him, kicking him away and attempting to break his arm before they all teleported, one trooper activated his portal field which sucked Hermitage into it, deactivated his field and them teleported out as the other grappled with Zere.

"NO!" Zere shouted as the man activated his portal, Zere barely blocking the kicks. He kept his grasp firm on Hermitage, keeping the resistance on him in an attempt to assure that he would not be sucked into the portal. It was a battle of wills now... Zere was determined... He kept concentration, trying desperately to make sure that all four of them teleported out to a place of his choosing.

OOC: We should probably wait for Lyoko now.

OOC: He is blocking the kicks of two grown Zarethian men whose armor supplements and effectively doubles their strength and speed giving them the power to knee things and have their backs explode violently and have lightning fast reflexes? Sounds... painful.

Zere groaned in agony as he fell to the ground and watched the portal activate that would suck Hermitage away. He did not worry. He'd left a little gift with Hermitage when he'd made physical contact with him. Even now, Zere's very essence, part of his spirit, was wrapping itself around Hermitage's spirit and body. Just enough that Zere would be able to find him later... Just enough that Zere would be able to return.

In a flash, Zere disappeared, not wanting to stick around to find out what happened next. He disappeared just in time as the attacks from the ship came raining down, destroying the Heart of the Council.

As the attacks rained down the AI of the shield generators surrounding the council were able to meet up and create the portal shield above the council after the second attack hit the rear of the building, exploding much of it but not all.

All in all the council building was somewhat intact and the Zarethians knew they had to deal with the Anrufe once again.

Soon after Zere's departure and the destruction of much of the building, the seals Zere had left behind which had been set to blow the entire building did explode, causing much more massive destruction.

The destruction of which literally destroyed the empty street leading to the council building. The two ZPAA troppers were not all that harmed so much as thrown over two hundred feet away and into a building. Luckily their armour is frigate grade and thus provided them with enough protection so as they were able to survive with a few broken bones.

OOC: Zere tried to kidnap Hermitage but a guard portal'd him out just in time, then Zere escaped and the Heart of the Council was destroyed.
