Scans #2
« on: January 12, 2012, 01:05:19 PM »
A lone super capital ship just happened to be in the area. This ship belonged to the Neo Narrikian Empire and had been conducting scans of the planet for the past 7 hours. No one occupied the planet and no one remained on the planet. So the planet was safe for colonization. Fighters were launched and beaming was done putting supplies, medical equipment, prefabricated materials for shelters and other things on the planet below. Samples of the planet would be taken and analyzed before any long term colonization efforts could begin on this planet. The planet would be researched, and if there were inhabitants although the scanners set to pick up high technological or magical levels did not detect any at all on them the inhabitants would have to be bargained with for ownership of the planet.

Shortly before such a colonization attempt could take place, none other than Chaos appeared on the surface of the planet, looking up in the air at the incoming fighters, a mild look of amusement on his face. Was his appearance here random? Actually, yes. He had come here to expand the borders of the Anrufe, as this planet was near their outpost at the Sovereign, but to his surprise, someone else was here too.

"Heat," he said aloud, before sending a mental transmission back to the base informing them of what was going on. A wave of fire surrounded him.

When Chaos summoned the flames, the scientists at the research facility sensed his presence and so a Magi-Android approached from behind Chaos with the signature of it suppressed. An infantizer had been used as a weapon and so the Magi-Android fired it, and a Near Heart Failure Channeler as well at Chaos. The Area had also been coated with an AT, AP, AST and AJD/AHS field around the entire planet.

Chaos would have been oblivious to the attack from behind had his magic not been disabled, at which point he looked all around him, including behind, just in time to see the incoming infantizer ray and Near Heart Failure Channeler, at which point he jumped out of the way. He activated an AAM field on his person, glaring at the Magi-Android with fierce eyes as a personal shield surrounded him. He waited for it to make the next move.

The android then 'spoke' with a pre recorded message to Chaos.

Vacate this planet, or lethal force will be authorized.
The android made no move to attack now that the flames were gone.

Chaos smiled, reaching out towards the Magi-Android. It's entire form began to fall apart as the metal which constructed it started to heat up and cool down over and over. Chaos used his magic to heat it up, and would then stop, exposing it to the cold of the snow planet.

While Chaos would take his sweet time doing that, the scientists had now recognized him as a potential threat and so something had to be done. Parts for an imagery detonator had been on this planet in the supplies that had been sent. So the imagery detonator was loaded with a picture of Chaos the Magi-Android took before it failed to work. The android may be disabled, but Chaos would soon have more worries to deal with.  Missiles came his way, but these were not your ordinary missiles no. They had enchantments on them to dampen the effect of magic used against them, to repel magic away that would be used to attempt to destroy or redirect them. These missiles were membrane  phase torpedoes and while old would serve to do the job that was needed.  A Dance Laser  (Or whatever K2 named it) wielding Magi-Android would also be teleported and open a portal which would open the other side inside of Chaos?s shield and fire the laser at him. Two dozen Mad Walkers were also deployed to destroy Chaos, all of them outfitted with AM generators inside of them.

Chaos's shield, however, prevented the portals from forming on the other side. He looked at the enemy's attacks with a mild amusement, realizing that they were attempts at stopping Chaos. His shield well protected him, but he wanted to have some fun... The Mad Walkers and the Magi-Android found themselves being surrounded by ACID type Nanites which began to eat through them. The missiles would be a much bigger problem, and Chaos waited for the missiles to get closer before he would strike.

A small Anrufe frigate appeared in orbit of the planet.

When the Frigate arrived in orbit of the planet, the ship there would call one of the new ships in which arrived within moments and fired the special weapon it had at the frigate, the Beam Lance. The Beam Lance would be like a blade that could cut through the enemy ship.  It would also go around the shield thanks to the compatability tech being used to make it work like a Muramasa beam. Chaos would receive no reinforcements whatsoever from that ship any time soon as both ships had opened fire upon it with all that they had and beamed down numerous reinforcements to the scientists now.  Two Hundred and Fifty of each SDT Model were beamed down and began to attack Chaos. The attacks were with everything they had.  As for the ACID Nanites, when they got close they would be absorbed into portals which would lead into a pocket dimension where they would be suspended in a Jello like substance and later would be examined. The Mad Walkers and other automatons continued their assault upon the leader of the Anrufe.

The frigate just stayed in orbit long enough to beam several CutFiber bombs down on both the research facility and the incoming missiles, before warping away the same way it had arrived -- coating itself with AAM and warping. It was unable to be reached in time by the ships in orbit of Walape. Chaos continued to use ACID missiles on everything trying to attack him. Portals were unsuccessful at absorbing the nanites due to the AP fields. Chaos watched the chaos as anything that tried to get near to him was destroyed.

The missiles, upon meeting detonation of the CutFiber bombs, fell along with the hardened shells towards the ground, creating very large craters.

But when the Cut-Fiber bombs were beamed down at the facility, the AP Field was lowered for about 2 minutes and the Cut-Fiber bombs would fall right on Chaos as they had been redirected through a portal to the location of the Leader of the Anrufe. The AP Field would then be raised once the bombs fell where he was and avoided the facility entirely.  As for the missiles, more would be fired at Chaos and also the ACID Nanites would be adapted to by the Magi-Androids who would open Gateway Vortexes which would send the ACID nanites to the inside of Chaos?s body.

The Cut-Fiber bombs exploded right over the base the moment they detected portals, some sort of automated defense. The portals had only made things worse -- now, instead of exploding at impact, they would explode in the air, which means the shells would impact much harder when they hit the ground. The missiles would not be deployed with the research base now exploding -- even if some somehow did launch, they would be intercepted in the debris now raining on the base.

The ACID nanites seemed to refuse to be vortexed away -- they began to actually eat through the vortexes.

Inside the base however during those 2 minutes the people had escaped. The planet was abandoned, yet where had the Japae Tech or other similar stuff come from? And how was it that these androids had proven to be such a challenge to disable? When the ACID Nanites ate through the vortexes, they would find a wall of order warps which would send them into a sun perhaps the one in the Milky Way.  In orbit, the two ships left. They would report back to Celso at once.

The Anrufe had succeeded yet again. Chaos smiled as he called in for reinforcements to settle the planet and begin constructing a military base.
