If Orph agrees, this is my idea....

Subplanes
Corporeal Existence exists on the Physical Plane which can be described as any location in physical existence which one can travel to. The physical plane is, of course, vast and complex, and infinite in size. Inside the physical plane, there are various subplanes which exist separate of each other, not connected by any physical means. Two subplanes are known to exist. Mention of both of them are made in the roleplay.

White Subplane (for lack of a better name)
The subplane which the entirety of the roleplay takes place will be referred to in this guide as the White Subplane. It is, at its heart, a white, infinite span of near nothingness, in which various structures exist which make up existence. Dating back millions of years in the plot, there were at one time only four of these structures in the white span of the White Subplane, known as Realms. A realm's exterior is finite, and consists of large walls, and takes a generally circle-like shape. It's interior can differ but is usually infinite in size.

Void
Unlike the White Subplane, the Void is not full of vast, complex systems. It is simply a black void of vastness, much like the white one in the White Subplane. Inside this black void float the Void Lords, the few denizens of this subplane which float on inside it's vast reaches, living dull lives. They tend to lurk around the Void Core, a swirling mass of dark void energies, seen by many as the “heart” of the void.

Travel Between Subplanes
Travel between the Subplanes is near impossible to accomplish and requires massive amounts of energy. It is unknown if anyone from the White Subplane has ever traveled to the void, though void lords have at various times in history traveled to the White Subplane for extended visits. They typically do this by taking over Shades, ghost images of the dead, though they are not required to do so.
