Conquest
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:09:25 PM »
Four ships would arrive in orbit of Ferrari, after finding the planet. These ships were the new Atiles class ship and all of the mages on board generated a silence field around the area along with distortions that would make the travel of ships into this area of space much longer. While they did that, dozens of EMP bombs would be teleported to the planet below and dropped to take out the defenses of the planet that relied on technological invention.  Finally, after the EMPS had gone off an AM Field would be raised and hundreds of SDT units would be beamed down to take the planet over.

The EMPs teleported across the planet were quickly found. Now the Smiths, being the technological wizards that they are, tend to recognize such things and proceed to disarm them. Which is pretty much what they did. The few that weren't found would do very little damage, seeing as how the planet didn't really rely on electricity for anything but lights and anything that did would naturally be made to be EMP proof, thanks to our wonderfully paranoid neighborhood God-King. The same goes for the AM field, the only main user of magic on the planet is Ra' Kath who would naturally have an AAM  field by now(inside a pendant). Thus when the soldiers reached the planet the Ferrarian military was sending out it's  own tanks and soldier units, which consisted of nigh bullet proof hot-heads weilding guns that could rip holes the size of microwaves through heavy armor, twelve foot robots with really big shotguns and chainsaw arms, and tanks with guns bigger than houses. And let's not forget Ra' Kath in all this, who finally had a chance to test out a new ability of his. Tapping into his Chaotic control he unleashed dozens of chaos portal directly into the ship and flooded it with chaos energy. One of the ships would begin changing,  becoming some kind of hellbeast that began devouring, maiming and dissolving it's inhabitants. A second would find it's innards being teleported out of it alms into space.  On a third members of it's crew would be driven insane and begin killing themselves, others, and sabotaging the ships systems. On the last one they would find it streaming at them.....bunnies. Millions and millions of bunnies. They would pour out of the portals with no end in sight, filling up areas reserved for crew, short circuiting important electronic devices as they were crushed by them, jumping onto switches and buttons, and otherwise just causing chaos.

On each ship methods to defend were being used. In the first, the crew summoned a warp which would send the beast into the sun the moment it arrived and on the second the moment the teleportation tried to happen the crew used magic to anchor the ship at that point in space, preventing the teleportation from occurring. As for on the fourth when the bunnies appeared they would quickly all be banished from the ship and magic would be used. The ship would repair itself.  On the third, nothing could be done and so the remaining three would target all weapons on the third ship and open fire, obliterating it before they left this area. The planet was a nightmare and more inventions would be needed it seemed to be used before anything could be done to take over this planet. The ground forces were quickly dispatched, but their enemy now had information on some of the defenses the planet had and would adapt accordingly. The three surviving ships warped to Hyper Space immediately and quickly bid a hasty retreat.

Unfortunately the ships countermeasures were found...lacking. The beast was not something teleported onto the ship. It was the ship, turning the crews valiant effort into a suicidal one. For the second, the portals simply began opening in other areas, sucking out everything in the ship and expelling it into space faster than the soldiers on-board could react. one the third, some of the less insane crew would have begun using the ships weapons to fire directly at the second one, unleashing any and all firepower it had left, as well doing their best to crash it into it's brethren. On the fourth, such a sudden increase of pressure, and lack of room to move, made mounting any thing resembling a defensive strategy fail. The rabbits would continue to fill the ship until it exploded from the pressure inside.

None got away, as the one with the beast sent a transmission into the galaxy warning of the people. (You cost me four ships. Ah well.)

"It would appear one of our allies has betrayed us" Ra' Kath was standing infront of a rather large window on one level of the Yib-Nigaroth as he said this. As he looked on he saw tractor beams pulling down pieces of the ships. They would melt down the useless bits and study whatever was more salvageable. It was several hours after the attempted assault, the dead bodies of the soldiers had been stripped of anything useful and burned. Even now zombie workers were cleaning up the last of the mess from the rather short battle.
"What are your plans, Sir?" Fah asked. He was standing not too far from Ra' Kath. "We brand them terrorists, call our allies, get them to send us some of their forces, and wipe them out." Ra' Kath turned and began walking away from the window. "After all, I have a reputation to uphold..." A black energy surrounded him as he teleported out of the massive forge and into a dark, dank room. In it were four tables and on them were that same amount of the Neo Narrikian soldiers. Ra' Kath would call what was happening to them 'interrogation', but most people would call it 'torture'.  'And thanks to these four, finding their planet will be as easing as beating them' He chuckled at this last thought, and the chuckle quickly became a maniacal, booming laugh...

One of the soldiers said to Ra?Kath. "We had no idea this planet was inhabited." He was telling the truth, as Emperor Celso did not know of Ferarri or the people there and had sent these four ships as a scouting party to see what was this planet and who all inhabited it if anyone did. The soldier nodded at the other three and all of them pooled their magic and used it to wipe their minds of useful information such as the coordinates of Setus Prime, who was in charge and that sort of thing.

"Oh yes, I'm sure you didn't. Afterall, it's not like we have Zarethian and Mecharan transport ships coming and going at all hours of the day. Doctor, commence with the interrogation." Ra' Kath said as he turned and walked away into the shadows disappearing into a portal right before AM fields, anti-teleportation devices, and EMP fields activated. A particularly nasty looking Smith who seemed to be made up of many robotic parts that were grafted rather messily onto his body approached the four soldiers, three Mercers following him. He walked past each of them, inspecting them as he did so. One of his eyes, which was also mechanical whirred and extended as he did so. He stopped infront of the last soldiers gurney. He nodded at the three soldiers "Kill da otthas". The Mercers arms transformed into chainsaws as they began chopping and shredding the other soldiers to bits. WHile the they were busy doing that the doctor's arm began transforming into several very painful looking medical instruments. "Less see how loud yu ken scream..."

But these men had been trained to endure immense levels of pain. The coordinates of the home world could not be gotten from them any-way because they did not know. The three nearly panicked at the sight of the chainsaws but did not do anything of the sort. True AM was active, but that did not stop Internal and that was what they used to heal themselves up every time the machine wielding attackers hurt them. The fourth nodded once more and the four of them all began building explosive energies inside of themselves and would use themselves as bombs.

OOC: Hawk, you don't heal getting your head cut off and chopped into little tiny messy bits. And incase you haven't noticed this is less todo do with getting information and more to do with enjoying torture.

IC: After ripping the three apart, one of the Mercers converted the chainsaw on his arm into a plasma thrower and thoroughly incinerated what was left of them. When the doctor began cutting he soon realized that his 'patient' was healing most everything done to him. "Hmm, instrustin." His mechanical eye whirred out and began scanning the narrikian. It would detect any kind of change within the 'patient' such as the buildup of explosive energies as well as peice together how the soldier was healing. "Well den, lessee how well yu heal dis." As he said this he snapped his fingers and a large, sinister looking nozzle extended from the ceiling. He grabbed hold of it and after stepping back a yard or so he pulled a lever on the nozzle that sent a stream of highly corrosive acid cascading onto the soldier. In seconds, it would reduce him to little more than a puddle of red and green goo.
