Just some random things that wont hurt anyone

Deathwalker
Invisisheilds are no longer called ivisisheilds because they don't turn you invisible.

They will now be called Intaneilds
Secondly, I'm not quite sure how I'd put this, but a specificity to my race. The ancient Deathwalkers who needed to capture the creatures to 'eat' them. I wasn't specific on how they actually feed. I'd like to make it specific now, but to do so, I would need your help because it involves a gray area. My idea would be having them feed on the actual life force. Open their mouth while holding their subdued prey and sucking it out. Any ideas on how that could work?

Heliphlein
Name: Aserical Blades
Description: After Aser brought peace to the Heliphlein he also brought balance by giving the Heliphlein nine powerful blades. Each Blade was said never to be able to break no matter how much damage it took. Each was bestowed with a different magical power to help in combat, and it was said that if two came against each other there would be no clear victor. Three were given to the magical Heliphlein, all of which with powers of great combat magic. Three were given to the nonmagics, all of which enhanced the warrior's skill in battle. Three were given to the Enrakni, all of which helping them to catch their prey quietly. The Enrakni would ruin things for everyone though. They soon figured out you could suck the magical ability clean out of someone and add it to your blade with a simple spell. However this had two side effects, and neither of which would be realized for generations. The first was that it dimmed the original power the sword carried slightly. The more this happened, the less the sword would do. However this was almost nonexistant. Th real problem was that it wakened the sword physically. The swords could break if they had sucked up enough magic, and when they did they would loose all the magic they carried.
Limitations: What I just said, plus the fact that they were powerful to the anciant Heliphlein. They are nothing next to some of the magical artifacts of this age. Their biggest sigbifigance right now is Heliphlein history.

Name: The Helionitux (tagged, the Sunblade)

Description: Given originally to Falgouve, the leader of the magical forces, was named a name meaning "Helios' Master." The sword was said to encompass all the power of Helios' Master, the star in the system. It was very powerful, but in the end it was just a name.
The sword would amplify any fire or healing magic a mage would use tenfold while being weilded. However, it had a cap. A pheonix sage would increase their magic by about 5-10% and the embodiment of heat would do so noticeably.
Status: In the Xandican Museum on Ephlan, near breakage

Name: The Phelistone (Blade of focus)

Description: Originally given to Falgouve's right hand man, Silluan, it granted all powers of focus (as in Heliphlien focus magic) tenfold increase as well.
Status: Broken

Name: Caitera (Blade of Chaos)
A black bladed Khopesh with a golden handle
Description: The blade that encouraged balance by making you use unbalanced attacks. Overall, you will either be ruined or learn to balance quickly. The more random your attacks are, the more powerful they get. One attack will give you double, then if you use a completely different attack that will double upon itself. This will happen up to seven times, and each attack must be within one minute divided by the slash count. However this only works if the sword is actually yours. The sword will respond to you if you disarm it's current handler. This means that if someone took it, and a third person disarmed it from the thief, it would respond to the third person rather than the first (and never to the second (thief)). Description: This sword gives you the power to dodge any attack you see coming
Status: Broken

Name: Ferrordir (The Unrelenting)

Description: This sword may be slow compared to the swing of the others, but it is well within reason. This sword multiplied the strength of the wielder tenfold, and in the right hands could cut straight through materials as hard as black platinum.
Status: Broken

Name: Pituku (The sword of the calculated)

Description: This sword offers heightened senses to the wielder. You can see twice as well and hear twice as well.
Status: Owned by Captain Ivilantar

Name: Qiek (Sword of the silent)

Description: This sword makes you unnoticeable unless you are being directly sensed (eg looked at straight from under twenty feet) or are being specifically being looked for (still really hard to sense)
Status: Broken

Name: Dealerou (Blade of Fatigue)

(Except only one)
Description: Wherever this sword cuts you, you will begin to feel tired and sore.
Status: Broken

Name: Enraltine (Sword of the swift (but with no yuki attatched))
Image: A thin silver blade with silver wings wrapped around the hilt
Description: This magical blade made the wielder three times as fast.
Status: Missing since stolen by Enrakni terrorists from the museum in Xandican

NOTE: To have the magical power of the sword you must actually be using it. Ther's no holding the sunblade and never slashing (or at least pointing) if you want a boost in fire magic. To gain the boost you must actually channel the magic through the sword.

I'm a bit strainded at the moment, so WIP

No. The blades here can only increase your ability in one specific area. They also can't cut through anything, but they are psudoinvincible. Ferrodir has a strength boost, but it's broken (5 are broken), and at this point only Heliphlein lore. Also, no matter what you do to the swords, they stay the same material rather than changing form. They also weigh appropriate amounts to their mass. Ferrodir I said was heavy. Geveron would have been pretty light. They also always stay a single color. Lastly, they aren'tas overpowered (Caitera may come close, but other then that, nada).

And I forgot to put that it has to be used through the sword itself for the magic to work (eg, no holding the sunblade and having super flaming arrows)

Blade of Geveron could be abused... If it's any attack you see coming then you could godmod and say you doged every attack in a battle... What does this cover? Just physical attacks, magic attacks, or all? If all it needs to be limited...

Personally I think tenfold is too powerful, and see these swords as a cheap Hawkeye tactic. But eh whatever.

Won't approve till Zak gives his personal approval as Aser his his character and therefore needs his permission to have made the swords.... Also I need to know how/why he made these swords and backstory on it. He may be an angel, but it doesn't exempt him from reason. If it's backstory you want RPd out later then PM it to an admin.

Blade of Geveron was shattered. It's no longer a problem, just lore.

I explained it as a balance issue, but if Zak wants to change it, e can. He'll probably do a better job of it anyway.

There's the chance someone could unshattere it. So make sure it says it's only lore. If it was ever unshattered then it needs to be limited.

After making peace for the Heliphlein (I cannot remember exactly what it was and can't find the original request) he gave them the instiments of war because he's all about balance and all. He gave 3 to the Magical Heliphlein, 3 to the nonmagical Heliphlein, and 3 to the Enrakni. After generations and generations the Enrakni figured out they could use a spell to make the swords suck magic from their victims. This made the magic slightly less powerful, and the sword far more brittle. Many of them broke, and now they are mostly gone.

Needs more than that. WHY did Aser bless only this race? How did he make the swords and why these specific swords? We need details. Because right now it just looks like Zak's helping Nik because Nik asks him to or they want to work together. GUESS WHAT! That's megaming. OOC plans do not affect IC affairs with characters. For Aser to favor Nik's race just because Nik wants swords and Zak says yes doesn't mean it's in the characters personality to do so. So give details on how and why he did so, what made him choose this race specifically, and what each thing symbolizes to helping this particular race.

What deeming qualities do the the Helephian or whatever have that make them protectable and blessed that the other races of the galaxies do not?

Hik, Nik and I came to the agreement a long time ago that Aser blessed the Heliphlean with the Aserical Shadow. Not only that, but he helped them evolve into what they are now. Why does he do this? Balance. Thats the reason he does everything. He has a rather large, shadowy game plan that I dont even know the full of. He's not being a tool. He is working for the greater good of the universe, thus by keeping it balanced and playing in the background. He doesnt want one side to win it all because that would spell the end of the universe as we all - they all know. Eli created him for the purpose of balancing the universe, or at least thats what he had been told.
Just because I havent really used Aser himself except for the most recent occasion doesnt mean he is a tool.I keep wanting to use him but in the end I decided to keep him in the background, playing chessmaster and trying to keep the universe in some semblence of balance. He has helped the Zarethians and the Heliphlean, he may well have helped other races. Hell, he could probably have been amongst the NPCs that fought Plex, it just wasnt said.
If you want me to help out or hurt other people as well then I'd be happy to comply with your request. Just dont expect Aser to do it personally.

Blessed is one thing. Coming to their rescue every time? OUT OF NOWHERE? I didn't even see anyone say "OH ASER SAVE US." If he's an angel of balance then where was he in False Heaven? Where is he in the Pirate topic? Where the fuck was he in Plex? You can't have a character that's job is to be a bring of balance and help people if you only help yourself and Nik. That is metagaming and using such a character as a tool. Look at us with embodiments. Other than a few character development topics do you see us using our embodiments to better our own empires and kingdoms? No. And neither should you use an angel for such a selfish fucked up reason. Because right now it seems like you came to Nik's rescue just because he begged you to.

He cant be everywhere at onc, can he? He isnt omnipotent after all. That doesnt mean he cant keep an eye on that the Helihplean, though. Also, I wasnt exactly very active during either Plex, False Heaven or any of the more important event stuff. Actually, I had hoped to have Aser come in during the Plex thing but then I kinda had the important "School" stuff to do and, you know, the fact that Plex was never completely RPed out kinda doesnt help with that.
He came to aid that race, yes, but like I've just said for what seems to be the thousandth damn time: I have wanted to use him but its not entirely easy to stick a damn angel of balance in somewhere for no reason in particular. At least in helping the Helihplean he actually has an IC reason to help them out!
Also, the fact hes not helping the pirates just points to the fact that Im not simply using him for my gain or, you know, he'd swoop in with reinforcements to help them out now wouldnt he?

No, he can't. But again you never use him except when you need to save your asses. Look at it from a staff view. So far you've only used him to help Nik and yourself. Nik who is your best friend IRL and who whines to you every time he needs saving. Yes, he put up the shadow thingy. Does that mean they get rescued without even needing to say a word or call on their 'god?' I don't know about you but normally a people needs to call on their god before their being rescued. If he's not omniscient like you say he is, then how would he know they're in danger, huh?

You know Hikaru, the way you seem to define tool could make Aser a tool as well. He did save a bunch of innocent lives, twice if you only count Heliphlein. He also was used in a battle to get something done (saving Helios). However as you seem to define it, that would make K2323 a tool as well. He helped fight Plex as well as Chaos. He saved his beach House and the planet it was on. He saved many innocent lives. All of this happened via violence. I wouldn't think of K2323 as a tool, but that's just me. I mean, there were a lot of other extraneous and significant details, but you've already proven you don't pay attention to hose all the time Hik. I mean, you aren't for Aser.

And Hik, Zak has good reason to. Kingdoms were founded on Aser. If kingdoms were founded on embodiments then they could use the embodiments to help. And honestly, IC I've seen very like characterization and a whole lot of battle. There isnt exactly a Topic Apearing ever day that would be appropriate for Aser to be in. He can't just walk down to the local gas station and buy a beer. He's a frickin angel!

Don't blame Zak for using a character that's good in battle to fight. No matter how you spin it, that's what you're doing.

I know, I'm trying to look at it from your view and yes, I agree you've got a point. But please look at it from this view. I am having trouble enough thinking of ideas for the Zarethians and my other things, let alone an Angel of Balance. I mean, its not as if I can just go to a random place dressed up as an old man and do odd things to help balance stuff out. Its cheap, its kinda weird too.

Nik doesnt always whine for me to help him out. This is really the first time he's asked for my help and honestly, if a moon has already been destroyed and another is going down the toilet I'd think that Aser would take issue with that. He may not go near it during an invasion. He may being doing other things or maybe it'll balance out the galaxy in the long run and he'll let them be sacrificied like a knight or pawn in chess but theres nothing going on at the moment and it looks like two moons would be destroyed in less then a day. I think thats some cause for concern, no?

Maybe they did call for him, eh? Nik didnt post everything that every being on those moons was thinking. I'm sure at least one person called for Aser to help them and even then its not above or below Aser to have some sort of magical detection system, perhaps as an aftereffect of the Aserical Shadow?
