Property passing and you

When a person passes on ships or races or tech to another person what this means is that the items are the property of the person they are passed to right?  Well, according to these logs K2323 gave me ships after Lyoko said the ships were his unless they had Mechera Tech.[5:48:31 PM] Lyoko222: They're K2s unless any of them had Mechera tech... then they're mine. K2323 told me in the IRC that the ships were all mine, all 80 of them. So now I have 86 ships. See what I am trying to do is propose an amendment to the rules that provides for this but does not hamper the request system at the same time.  This would generally be sort of gifting ships to people or tech or part of your race or the whole race. This topic is meant to be a discussion and also a proving ground that this could be allowed in the future and also be an aid to those members who are starting out if people feel generous.

The Amendment I propose would put a section into the rules about the adoption of ships, tech or other things such as Characters by people. Since there is nothing about that in the rules presently, this would prove to be the benefit of the Staff and the members.

The ones that had Mechera tech in them are the Mechera's due to the terms of them leaving the Mechera. 8 years before the Narikians came back. so no matter what kind of IC deals youve made, the ones with Mechera tech are the Mechera's

Basically I had no idea whose the Narrikian Ships I requested BEFORE the Neo Narrikian Empire were now and K2 said they were not in play. Lyoko said they were K2?s with the exception of those that incorporated any and all Mechera Technology.  However, K2 earlier today gave me all 80 of the ships and told me they were mine. So I claimed them, and I am putting this up so you, lyoko and Capxeno cannot POSSIBLY dispute this during invasions.  The IRC did not save the logs unfortunately, but you can ask K2 about it tomorrow.

Uhhh yeah.. 80 ships... I don't care if he gave them to you. You can get 5 extra a week or something... Not 80 all in one day.

They already existed.  I was just putting them to use since K2 said they were mine. I haven't brought them back in yet.

Alright... this argument is over. Hiro has confirmed that all of the Narikian ships had Mechera tech on them in form of Computer systems. The ships would have been transferred to the Mechera 8 years before the Narikians arrived back in the SP.
