Diplomacy
« on: January 20, 2012, 10:27:05 PM »
The Neo Narrikian ship codenamed Rose Blossom would descend out of Hyper Space with Zane Valatako as the captain of the ship. It would descend out of hyperspace near the K City and send out a transmission on all frequencies to the K City. Greetings Insert Empire name here. This is the Neo Narrikian Ship Rose Blossom carrying diplomats and wishing to send them to negotiate with your people.  Please respond, over.

Please direct your pilot to ship docking station E19 over the Foreign Affairs Center, and turn over all controls to the automated docking program. Have your diplomat ready to be searched and directed to the Diplomacy Building as soon as you arrive. Thank you.

Zane was the one assigned to diplomat duty, but also on the vessel were armored and armed guards as he had hinted he might need some protection. So Celso had obliged his wishes and had ordered a full crew of soldiers assigned to the defense of the diplomat on board the ship. Thirty soldiers were on board the ship all of them wearing the Ventus MK II suits and armed with rapid laser gauntlets and various other weapons they carried with them in plain sight. Zane was the only one of them without a weapon but he was in the Ventus MK II suit as well although his was more customized. Controls would be turned over to the automated docking program once they headed over to the required port.

The ship was brought to breaking and it's engines cut off by the program, as it was successfully docked inside the docking bay specified. Outside the ship, awaiting Zane, stood a K Empire diplomat, dressed in the Diplomatic Robes of the K Empire.

From all angles, Zane would be surrounded by five of the guards as he walked out of the ship. It was protocol not that he blamed them given certain factors in the dimension currently. IE the DAIS Fleet and the fact the Anrufe would probably try to kill him at some point anyway. But when he got out of the ship he ordered the guards to withdraw and they reluctantly did. So now he turned his attention to the diplomat and asked. "May I speak with one of the higher ups?" It was not an insult but the message he would deliver would best be done with one of the higher ups and not a no-ranker that had to keep running back to base with every demand.

"I have been authorized to make demands on behalf of the K Empire," the man informed Zane, "I am Kenji Akaena, chief diplomat at K City. Nice to meet you."

He offered his hand.

When his hand was offered, Zane would take it and shake it. And then he would casually withdraw his hand and open a briefcase he carried after letting it do a retinal and DNA scan of him by pricking his finger Zane would pull out a file. Plans for a listening station/monitoring station that would be constructed near the K City in hopes of being forewarned of when the DAIS or Anrufe made their missions out of the system. These plans would be offered over to the person.  "Emperor Celso wishes to pay the K Empire to construct this. This device will monitor all Anrufe and DAIS hyperspatial activity, record both the starting points and coordinates. It will also send immediate signals.  It will also transmit copies of said signal to the K Empire. Further should they send more than a dozen ships it will send an immediate warning and will authorize utilization of a special project in the works. Details on the project are classified. Several of your youngest and best pilots you have would be paid handsomely to participate in this project. "

"I see... We will be happy to negotiate with you in building such a station," the diplomat replied, "Of what empire are you in service of?"

After pausing for a few moments the words would spill out of his mouth. "The Neo Narrikian Empire. I happen to be one of the diplomats.  Due to this, Celso has given me full rights to negotiate as need be for the construction of such a station near your planet.  He has also instructed me if at all possible to take a look at some of your young pilots and ones that are in training to see if they would be interested in a project that will soon launch, an Academy of sorts where they could go to learn, but be fair warned. If any choose to participate in the project they will have to be sworn to absolute secrecy. Covertness is key with the DAIS somehow being able to listen into transmissions throughout the Mortal Dimension."  Later Zane would be assigned to research the how, that is how they did that and put a kibosh on it somehow but that would take time which he did not presently have.

"Neo Narrikian Empire, eh? So you guys are back in town?" the diplomat replied, amused. "We are up for building a listening post, but your army will have to work elsewhere. We don't want to devote our own young men and women to your military. We are willing to propose that, together, we build a station near Earth, devoted to finding more information on Anrufe activity. Stocked with men from both of our empires."

Zane pulled out a portable scanner and scanned the area for listening devices or spying implements of any sort within the area. Gesturing to one of the soldiers that had been with him the guy would go back on board and come up with a bug sweeper and begin to sweep the area for bugs.  After this had done Zane would pull out a PDA and insert a badge on it and type rapidly on it. The PDA would flash and display a holographic warning. "Do you have a private bug free room we can discuss this matter in further?"

"This room is clean," he assured Zane, "You are deep within a pocket dimension. But yes, we can show you to a room for further discussions to take place."

With that, the two were warped into a diplomatic room, wide and spacious, with a large, glass window covering the far wall of the room, through which much sun was shining in. It was decorated with many couches and snacks, and in the center of the room sat a small folding table with two chairs. The K Empire diplomat did not take a seat, but instead walked over to the window, looking out at the distance at the hustling of the city below.

Once inside the new room, Zane would push the button. The PDA would display a holographic recording of his conversation with Celso, censored of any highly political or classified information. For all intensive  purposes the plan Celso had just might work. So the hologram began to play a message from Celso.

Quote
With the Anrufe and the DAIS growing in strength and in power, it has come to my attention that without proper precautions this might be the final galactic hour. So I have set in motion plans to drive back the enemy and force them into a full retreat. The first of these plans is Project Academia which will better equip several pilots and military new recruits to be the best they can.  It will also provide them top of the line and state of the art technology to pilot. Should they stay on, they will also when the Anrufe and DAIS are defeated have job security to prevent any further intrusions from those terrorist cells that have cropped up.

"Part of the reason I was sent was to ensure that your leader would be on board with the Academy idea as that was the reason I asked about your people. It will be a joint team assembled to wipe out the Anrufe and the DAIS Fleets from existence, and then when they are gone strike at the core and take their planets themselves away from the Anrufe. Every operative will be wiped out, and every member of the Anrufe will be slain. Should your leader agree, I will send down talent scouts on board my ship to check some of the students at your flight, and other schools on the planet and choose the ones best suited."

"I see... Tell your emperor that we are in agreement. By this time next month, a new space station shall be complete which can serve as a base for this operation," the diplomat informed Zane.

"We won't need to wait until next month. In 100 galactic standard hours, a planet will have been outfitted with floating cities and prepared as the Campus of sorts where they will be trained and put through their paces. There is one thing though Celso will insist on and that is that those who have families and what not keep it a secret from them. The last thing needed is a leak that goes straight to the DAIS, Anrufe or both."

As Zane said this he would pull out the machine typed document that he had been given and offer it to the K Empire Diplomat to sign. The document would go into details, and would also bind all the ones chosen and who agreed to keep the location of the campus a secret, even from their families. They would not be allowed communication out of the place until they graduated. All their needs would be taken care of and they would be put through rigorous training to ensure they would be ready.

"Celso does not like taking chances with security risks."

Another part of the document would go into detail that while they could teleport off of Academia at any time they could not teleport freely onto the planet. But would have to be taken there by ship and sedated during the journey so they would not know the coordinates of the planet. Each one picked would also be put through 30 back ground checks, psyche evaluation and general scans to ensure there could be no possible moles or intruders in this plan. The document would also go into detail if they chose to drop out that their memories of the place and all the education they received would be destroyed. They would have to agree to this before being allowed to join up.

Zane would then leave and head back to his ship. For he would be needed elsewhere. Celso had many irons in the fire and so it was best if all the parts of his plan were put into play at once. Boarding the ship and removing the program the K Empire had used for the auto docking and having it completely purged from the computer system as well, the ship would exit the station once all precautions had been made and everyone who had been with him was on board.  From there, the ship would take off into Hyperspace and the next phase of the plans could be enacted. Galactic Online would need to be met with and made not to be so nosy after all.
