In the solar system of the insidious Lorcar appeared three ships, two small vessels and one larger frigate. They were black and red, sleek and equipped with powerful weaponry and defense systems capable of reducing an asteroid the size of the moon to slag.  They were Zarethian ships and they were bearing odd passengers. They stayed at the outskirts of the solar system, waiting for any sort of advancement.

Twelve hours earlier -

A Zarethian man knocked on Devour's door in his secret habitat, his new partner Mcallen "Hey, Devour?" He asked, "You've got a message." He called.

The Yellow Jackets inhabiting the outer asteroid belt responded their usual way to strangers approaching the Maltruse System, that is to say by going to the outermost edge and glaring at the much, much smaller fleet. It couldn't even be called a fleet, more like a squadron. However, they were to keep the Lorcar's territory, not expand it. As long as those ships stayed out, they'd make no move themselves, crawling across the asteroids and their hive-metal mines. They were literally everywhere, just a constantly moving mass of Yellow Jackets.

The Zarethian ships turned towards the locust ships and visibly lowered their weapons, causing the weapons to slide back into the hull-sheathe. The smallest ship slowly moved forward, towards the locust homeworld, relaying a psychic beacon that said:

Hello? We come in peace, we mean no attack and want no deaths. We wish only to speak to leader, the hivemind of sorts if there is one. We wish to establish peace and to give you all another chance to become allies.
