Another Visitor!?

Flash.

In a random street in the capital of Tefillin, K2323 and Chal appeared, serious expressions on their face, their magic signatures radiating their very existence, screaming of their arrival. The two silently began to walk up a sidewalk, looking for the Heart of the Council. It was where they needed to be. They didn't seem to notice the many strange stares that they were getting walking around dressed in dragon armor.

They would find that the heart of the council and the lonesome looking road leading up to it had been destroyed, flattened by explosions. There were clean up crews working on it and ZPAA troopers watching over everything. A short, stubby man was yelling orders.

"Come on," K2323 whispered to Chal, "Let's ask him to help us."

The two approached the short man. He seemed to be the one in charge of the area -- he was, after all, the one giving the orders. Whatever had transpired here had been something of particular note. K2323 could tell that the damage was not... Intended. Something all too familiar loomed over the destruction site. He couldn't quite place the feeling.

"Excuse me," K2323 said, tapping on the shoulder of the man, "Where might I find Regis Hermitage?"

The man turned to him with a look of corpulent ignorance. He sighed. "Another pair looking for the director?" He asked in a resigned tone. "He's being held in a secure location due to the recent Anrufe terrorist attack attempt on his life."

"Dammit," K2323 cursed, "So Chaos is already looking for him too... Look. Contact your superiors. We need to meet with him," K2323 requested.

If Chaos already knew how important Hermitage was, then they were at a disadvantage. Apparently he had caused this destruction -- K2323 knew it seemed familiar. This was the work of either Zere or Assassin, he could tell. He was surprised that they had not succeeded in taking Hermitage, though. The Zarethians truly were a strong people... But would they be strong enough if the Anrufe came back?

The man sighed. "Look, if you give me your names then I may be able to work something in..."

"K2323. Tyris."

That was all K2323 said, before turning and walking to the nearest bench on a sidewalk -- Chal following close behind -- and simply sitting down. It was an unusual and out of place thing to do, yes, but he did it anyway, simply because it was the most... Preferred thing, in his mind. He would wait here, now, and he would not rest until he had a chance to talk with Hermitage.

Watching from a nearby building outside the damage zone was Assistant Director Amy Jacob, a look of amusement on her face. It seemed that none other than K2323 Tyris had arrived, one of the Sage Three, and former leader of the K Empire, a close ally of the Zarethians. Last she heard, he'd been dead. She grabbed her weapon -- just in case -- and secured it at her side before heading downstairs from the building, a temporary workpost for the construction effort.

The short man relayed this message to his superiors and soon enough, an older Zarethian, graying hair and a hard look in his icy eyes teleported over. He was in a stiff, black military uniform with a red sasch across the chest.  He nodded and bowed to them respectfully. "Greetings, Mr. Tyris. My name is Admiral Addler Vas Vacon, I am the senior Zarethian Military official. My subordinate tells me you've come here to see Hermitage?"

The two stood at once when Vacon appeared, bowing in turn. K2323 remembered meeting this man on at least one occasion -- when he had first come to the planet in order to save Green Zero. That had been when Green Zero was working for K2323. What a mistake that turned out to be. But alas, Vacon had gotten older over the eight years -- so had K2323.

"Admiral," he greeted, "We have, yes, come to see Hermitage. It's urgent."

"Uh... M'lord," Chal said, pointing at the approaching form of Amy.

K2323's eyes set on Amy, the young, beautiful blonde quickly approaching the three. When she saw that the Admiral was present, her posture seemed to change. She stopped behind the Admiral -- K2323 and Chal were facing her.

"Admiral," she said aloud, bowing (courtesying?) briefly to the Admiral.

"Ah, Assisstant Director." He said, his eyes widening slightly in dim surprise. "What brings you here? I suppose you're looking for Hermitage as well?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No, Admiral," she replied, laughing, "Though I suppose that's what these two visitors are here for." She bowed now towards them. "Amy Jacob, Assistant Director of the Zarethian Hand. Pleasure to make your acquaintanceship." "Likewise," Chal replied as they both bowed towards Amy, Chal looking Amy right at the eye and smiling briefly at her. My, he's the confident one, she couldn't help but think.

"The director is currently at a safe location," she informed the two, "Why do you need to meet with him?"

"I was about to ask that myself." Addler murmured before looking at the two curiously. "Is there something important going on that Hermitage is involved in? The Anrufe recently attacked, trying to retrieve or assassinate him, we arent sure which."

"I do apologize," K2323 explained, "But this is something that we can't really discuss. I can only speak to Hermitage about it."

"That is... thoroughly suspicious..." Addler sighed. "But, I suppose secrets must remain a secret and care little for who should know or not." He nodded to Amy. "Care to escort them to your boss or should I, Assistant Director?"
