A corvette, surrounded by several escorting frigates, appeared in orbit around the colony, bearing the symbol of the K Empire upon their hulls. This was the royal fleet of the K Empire, carrying Kaleb Tyris, emperor of the K Empire. The ship sent down a friendly transmission to the planet, asking where the captain should be beamed to. The ships themselves would remain in orbit while Kaleb Tyris visited.

A signal was sent back to the fleet give a beam location for the captain. The location was a pool side patio, over looking the cliff is hung off of. Salahiem sat, with two inky black boxes and some paper work. The tea was in the facilities kitchen being prepared. Now that the first guest was heat, the letter Jay had received would glow and give the teleport coordinates.

Kaleb Tyris was beamed down to the surface of the planet, a smile on his face as he bowed to Salahiem. "It's an honor to be here," he said kindly.

The moment Jay's invitation glowed he would have "appeared" before Kaleb and Salahiem in traditional Elder robes "Sorry about the uh... Well, lame robes. It's tradition any diplomacy has to be handled in this crap." He joked, nodding to both "Nice to finally meet you" He indicated Salahiem and then looked to Kaleb "And it's great to see you again kid."

Salahiem got up and shook both the men's hands. He seemed quite happy both had come, with a motion of his hand he directed them to the three chair around a wooden table. "Please have a seat, welcome to our humble colony."

A collective worker brought the tea pot with three cups. The Worker would wait til the two were seated before pour their cups of tea. "Its a local leaf, it grown under ground without light. Its slightly rare, and has a bitter but smooth flavor." said Salahiem as the worker nodded.

"However we do have much to discuss, my friends."

Salahiem sipped his tea before he spoke, "I brought you here today in light of three ideas that an anonymous benefactor entrust to me. I do not wish for such... powerful objects only being in the possession of the Collective."

Salahiem tapped the two boxes, "One for each of you. All I ask in return in continued positive relations, and any research conducted on them, our science department gets a copy of."

Salahiem push one of either of the boxes to Jay and the Emperor. "I am unsure as to their origin, or what truly allows them to work. However, only one of these we felt conformable testing. That is the one We are handing over to the K Empire, its seems... to temporally separate you from Space, but not time. Its a odd... orb of many colors." Salahiem sipped his tea again.

"The other one, based on the book we got with it, is a dagger, one side always new, one always rusted and old. whoever is cut with it, will have their body randomized into many points of their life. It had a rather grotesque picture of a victim of this object. His head was that of an old man, his entire body had part from an infant to a decaying old man. Its not a pretty sight. We assume this has something to do with time,. that is why we are trusting this item to you, Elder Jay."

Kaleb picked the item up, rather curious as he observed it, before nodding his head. "I see.. Quite the curious item indeed."

"Oh hello" Jay muttered, taking the blade and examining it carefully "You know Temporal Artifacts are so hard to come by these days, back in the old times pretty much everything had one. Pretty sure most were destroyed when y'know, many Templars were killed by most other races but I digress" He rambled on a little, flicking the blade between his fingers "Though i'm kinda curious about where they were found and well.... Which one you have?"

Salahiem hands went to the ambassador pose. He watch the two leaders reaction, as he set what appeared to be a Tye-dye bandana on the table. He said in a a firm voice of reason, "Just remember to take care of them. However, I do not know where they were found. As I've said an anonymous benefactor graciously donated these to the Collective. As far as the one I am keeping, the literature on it seems to say that whoever its used against will be incapable of violence. Even violent thoughts would cause excruciating pain, violent actions... could cost the victim their life. When you get around to it, I'd love to see what your books say about these items." Salahiem kept a serene expression

"Additionally, there is another matter I'd like to discuss. Before I took office of Internal Affairs. Our military was left unchecked. What prompted this to change was our Djinn One commander Caliph took it upon himself to invade another system with intent of conquest. Our records record this fleet as MIA." Salahiem slide over some documents to the two, contained the coordinates of the invaded location, Teffillin. "We presume the fleet was wiped out, and that the people who were invaded are none too happy about being attacked. We wish to extend an olive branch of diplomatic negotiations with the people of this system, and maybe even in spite of what happen all those years ago, form a trade agreement. However we do not know what happened to Djinn One or who these people are."

Salahiem mentally noted all of this information, "Then Emperor Kaleb, can you request for us to have a joint Conference with the Zarethians. For diplomatic negotiations and making clear what happened was not the will of the Collective."

He then looked to JAy, "Also thank you Elder Jay. Any you can do there would be appreciated. Although they are considered fugitives of the Collective, we would like to see them return home, serve a sentence and live out their lives. They are still our people."

"I'll see to it that my best man gets right on it," Kaleb assured his Marid friend as he stood, "Now, gentlemen, I apologize for being so hasty, but I must depart. Thank you for the tea, and the generous gift from your people. We shall see to it that you get all our research. I'm being told through my communicator that I have... Company in town. Good day, gentlemen."

And with that, he and his ships were gone.

"Sorry I can't be of more help to your causes in any case" Jay sighed "I'm still trying to establish the wiggle room I have in helping out people, know what I mean?" He shrugged and looked to Salahiem "If I come across them i'll be sure to let you guys know though, and I got a hunch on the knife that i'll look up. However... I'm pretty sure that i'm needed elsewhere just now." He held out a hand to shake Salahiem's "I really hate to be the jerk that bails when someone else does but there are currently like... 8 instances of myself running about the universe that I gotta coordinate" He laughed

Salahiem got up and wish the Emperor well in farewell. Then turned to Elder Jay, and took his hand and shook it firm, yet respectful. "I understand, thank you for the time you have allowed us. Anything you can provide on it will be greatly appreciated. True Grace on your endeavors Elder Jay."
