But Radical, by now, was beyond the ability to have a civilized conversation. He was on the ground, in shock. How could this happen..? Was she who she thought she was, or was she just... Different? What was going on!? Could it really be that Hikaru was... What he was afraid of? The one thing he happened to fear the most, the one thing he needed to destroy?

"I am who you think I am. I am Hikaru Tyris... well one half of her. To make a long story short, because I'd rather not explain that whole scenario again. Back in the Excel tournament with K2323 I was 'killed.' Permanently. Or at least half of me. My brother had used a spell to split my spirit before he destroyed it. Where both halves should have died, only one actually did due to the mercy my brother felt afterward and their attempt to revive me. But that half, of course had no memories but what I had left in a book and what my brothers and Emily later provided. As for the other half..." Hikaru simply looked down at him with a cynical but superior look in her eyes.

"I stand before you now. We both later met at the Guardian Headquarters and had to leave rather... abruptly for reasons classified. That should answer the who and and a part of the how. I'm saving the 'what,' and 'where my other half is' for a later time when I am ready to reveal such information."

Radical stood up, a look of anger on his face now. He was angry at this girl, angry at the world, angry at all of them. She thought she understood, but she didn't, and neither did he. It was as simple as that. He was angry, and he wanted Hikaru to leave. Now.

"Give my regards to K2323," he said angrily.
