It had been more than eight years.
What normally would have been just a small drop in the ocean of time had been a living hell for Asura. If one saw her as she was currently, the only description would be, a complete wreck. Thinks were breaking by the second and even being Time its self, Asura, didn't have the power to fix them. When all this had started it had been merely a few books that had disappeared. An item lost to time or even a person of no significant value to history. A hindrance, but at the time not that big of a deal.
But as year by year went by, it had increased. More books were shown to be missing; things from the smallest and mundane to even higher events of importance in some random timeline. Curiously enough it hadn't affected the fixed timeline yet. But one could only wonder what was next. Things were becoming quite chaotic that if Asura didn't know better, she could swear it was the work of Anarchy. But the Embodiment of Chaos had died, ...hadn't he?
At least in the main timeline he had. And as far as Asura could tell there had been no successor chosen. Or had there...? Had that book too been taken? At this point, Asura could never be sure. It would have to be investigated. Asura could no longer trust the records or even her own knowledge, time its self, what the records symbolically represented. No, to find the information she needed, she would have to stick to looking into it, herself, or better yet, have someone do it for her.
Raising her staff, Asura tapped the end of it to the ground sending out a signal through the timeline of a specific individual to call that person to her. Things had become too unacceptable to continue on as they were. Something had to be done. For this task. Asura would need the Templars. She would need Jay.
