The Snake and the Machine

A single, lone Anrufe Raven fighter. It seemingly appeared there, in outerspace. Orbiting Violet. Waiting.

"First move." Kailey commented. They were in the air, in no particular place on the planet. They felt the fighter.
"Felix?" UnStellar asked, sitting with his legs folded as he floated.
"Wait. Let the Mechera handle it. It's probably a trap or some kind of decoy, maybe just a scout. The big players will be coming behind it." UnStellar nodded silently. Kailey tensed up, balling her hands into fists. She held a steady drifting pattern, and stood upright. She was ready for a fight.
"Kailey, hit the ground as soon as their heavy artillery gets here. Your main magic isn't of much use in the air." Felix ordered.
"Right. What are the Anrufe doing with artillery?" Kailey asked inquisitively. Her companions stared at her blankly, trying to see if she was joking.
"Figure of speech, Kail." UnStellar offered, a chuckle on the edge of his voice. Kailey got very read, and her floating pattern got faster. She drifted a little ways from the others.
"Rune?" UnStellar asked, Felix instantly comprehending.
"We don't need a Rune to know she's nervous bro. It's her first war."
"It's your first war too, Boss-man." He said plainly, staring at his friend. Felix shifted his weight on air, uncomfortable.
"Yeah. You're right."

A Figure with Jikore over his shoulder appeared on the surface of Violet. Jikore's wounds healed quickly as the Ice the patch his wound melted in a strange way. It would hurt a great deal, and he would still need to recuperate later, but Jikore would be in top form for a while after this strange method of healing.

The figure himself began to chant as he sat Jikore down on his feet, the sir getting colder. The wind blew, and it began to rain, and suddenly. Snow. The snow blanketed the local area rapidly, as strange Ice feather erupted from the snow. These feathers were strange as steel, and wicked sharp.

The feather swirled around a three mile radius of where the pair were, as if guarding them. The figure drew his fire arm, and stood in the ready position.

"Anytime Comrade." the Figure said to Jikore, as he continued his magic.

"Boots on the ground." Kailey said, focusing on both her magical senses and her sight. Simultaneously, the three teleported within view of the duo, still in the air.
"Snow?" UnStellar asked.
"That's what I call climate change. Don't get too close, it's probably hostile." Felix warned.
"It's growing. Strike now or wait?" Felix glanced at the tense Kailey.
"Hit the ground Kailey, test them out a bit. Me and Stella have your back. Let's see what they are capable of."
Kailey nodded, and taking a deep breath, dropped he levitation spell, entering a free fall. Right before she hit the ground, the earth opened for her, and she was swallowed up. She was in her element, and it embraced her like a lover. She didn't tunnel, rather, the earth moved around her and reformed instantly behind her. She went deeper and deeper into the earth, until she came to a planned point. Runes on her forearms glowed, and the collaborating Runes on her friends glowed in turn. The two grinned in expectation. Using those Runes, she could see and feel and sense everything her friends were. Since they were much closer to the duo, they could sense their signatures and spells and locations. Using this link, she could pinpoint their location from her friends unfettered senses. She could also sense their thought, read their mind in a way, so Felix could order her easily, without delay, and with perfect understanding.
With a snap of her fingers, the earth trembled beneath Jikore and his friend. The quake was already bad, throwing them all over the area, but soon it would grow much worse. UnStellar and Felix looked on expectantly, tracking Jikore and the Figure, but always staying outside of the snowstorm.

OOC: Damnit Cap, I said wait. Oh well, now's as good of a time as any. Move in, everyone.

As an AMR field expanded over the planet to block out any AM fields that might be erected, Jikore watched the approach of the three. When the ground began to tremble under Jikore, he immediately took to the air, levitating there as the air continued to grow harsher, colder. It was time to make things more... Interesting. Three on two, though, didn't seem like much of a fair fight. They needed backup.

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a communicator device and spoke into it, "Move in, scatter. Reli, I need you to join us. Keep to the air."

A few moments later, a young man, wearing an unbuttoned shirt which showed off his abs, and jeans, appeared floating next to Jikore, a bit taken back by the cold due to his semi-shirtless nature. He quickly analyzed the situation, spotting the two in the distance, and feeling the third's magic signature. Interesting. He turned to his two companions. "I'll take the one on the left, one of you find the girl, the other back me up."

Reli stretched his arm in the direction of the two, and a surge of red sparks began to erupt in the air around them, just waiting for them to make a move. As this occurred, Jikore decided to go for the girl, and so he began to freeze the ground, creating a layer of permafrost which started to spread down towards her magic signature. He was determined to find her, wherever she was hiding.

Meanwhile, on different parts of the planet, other Anrufe members began to appear and cause general chaos and havoc. Each Anrufe member had personal Anti-Portal artifacts with them, after learning that the mirror shields were portals, in case they came into trouble.

"One's after Kailey. Freezing the soil." UnStellar said calmly.
"Yep. She can handle that no problem. I don't think they know what her next step is." They both grinned.
"People always underestimate the powers of earth and what it entails. They always picture vines and rocks. Not the big picture. Mother nature's a bitch, and so is payback."
"I think it's fair to say we're both." Their Runes continued to glow.
"They're all over now." Felix said.
"The Mechera can hit the little ones. These are the big players. Should we hit now?"
"Nope. Just a little bit longer. Don't set the grid yet, wait till they establish the killzone. Then we'll put up the Pathshaker."
"You got it boss." Throughout it all, they remained completely calm, eying Reli's arm and sizing up the force in front of them.

Meanwhile, the permafrost was doing very little. The soil and earth shifted, breaking the frost into clumps and not allowing the frost to freeze it long. Large clumps of permafrost were actually thrown to the surface, right at Jikore, though some pieces were being flung at the others. Due to it's shaking and shifting nature, the earth wasn't being frozen. The quake was getting more and more intense. Soon, tidal waves would sweep around the planet and hopefully hit other Anrufe operatives. The surface was starting to break, and the true nature of Kailey's spell would soon be seen.

The Figure float in the air... Dancing. His chanting echoed throughout the whole atmosphere of the planet. Even though dancing he kept his fire arm at the ready, almost as if it was some sort of rave stick. The Snow billowing, the Feathers swirling around the entire radius. As the Entire planet grew colder, the snow storm explosively expanded into a blizzard that covered near instantly most of the surface. The Feather, increasing in number exponentially, cutting at anything within the storm indiscriminately. Regardless of where she was hiding, at least one would have to cut her barring any unforeseen defense, the feather revealing her location.

His chanting continued, A sphere of icy water surrounding him, as it form a scorpion tail, with a green tip. The sphere would protect him from the attacks that were just launched against him, icy spikes knocking the attacks away. The snow that landed on the shaking ground changed into strange snowy sigels, that hummed with an odd song.

OOC: We probably should wait for Cap.
OOC:You should probably wait for me. '>>

The First Battalion was still orbiting the planet, ready for the battle. It launched its multitudes of Frigates, Corvettes, Fighters all around the aggressor's ship, all intending on striking it down. But of course, that's not all...For you see, the First Battalion was but one of the Mechera's players in their battles.
Cracks appeared in space, right out in orbit around the planet. Literally, Space began to crack and break. But this wasn't magic, nor the Mechera's Pseudo Magic...This was the ID-Gate, a device that literally broke through the boundaries between dimensions. The cracks eventually shattered entirely, showing a massive tunnel of blue, the hole broken between this Dimension and that of the Mechera. And through it came the four Battleship-Class ships of the Mechera, two Gateways, six Division-Class Ships, the First Armada, and the moon-shaped First Legion. The Mechera had deployed the Flagship Fleet, in all its glory, and each of these ships deployed their own of the smaller classes. Millions of Frigates, Corvettes, and Fighters all zipped into formation, waiting for the inevitable onslaught by their foe's own, no-doubt massive fleet.

On world, the Aegis Contingents deployed. Soldier-Class Aegis surrounded the enemy mages, as well as the flying Shields and much larger Defenders. The squads of Soldiers were led by Angel Knight-Class Aegis Contingents, which trained their grenade cannon-'wings' at the foes, just as the rest of the Aegis Contingents trained their own weapons as well. And in each warzone were around five or six FENRIS-Class Aegis Contingents, acting as mobile, city-sized bases. They prepared their own weapons, ready to take the fight to their foes. The Mechera had not wanted to despoil the beauty of this pristine world, had kept themselves off its surface to this extent. But if War was inevitable, they would rather win and repair the damage inflicted, than let the planet be lost and allow the enemy to mar its surface further.

A Chaos Warp opened, allowing Keith and Denera to exit. "So...Just break stuff and kill people?" Keith said, a look of gloom on his face. Denera responded with,"Yep. Looks to be that way, my Lord."
"Tch...Just like old times, huh? Guess its too bad I don't really wanna go back..." Keith muttered, warping his arm into a blade.
"Hmm? Oh...You mean, back before the tournament, where you met Celestia."
"Yeah...Before I learned to control the Chaos, not let it control me. But I guess there is a difference, this time...My minds at peace. I'm in control right now, and I'll never give my freedom up."
With those words, he sent a wave of pure Chaos out, directly at the two visible figures that the few others were fighting. Denera thought on his words, before nodding and summoning froma her shadowa manifestation of a part of her spirit, as all Divine Elemental do. This creature was a being created from her emotions of joy and of wrath, two opposites brought together. A Demon, as her people would call it. It appeared as a humanoid wearing golden armor, having purple skin and red eyes, black hair, and six draconic wings dark as night.  "Yeah, Keith. I suppose I like you as you better,  too. Alright, Ravage,"I she said, then speaking to the demon which nodded,"I want you to keep any of those giant machines away from us, if you can. If they go after our allies, please aid in their defense. We have to at least make sure everyone survives."

<<<IFF Confirmed- DAIS Armada>>>

Suddenly, jump windows opened all around the planet in space as almost the entire DAIS Armada came into orbit. "Sorry, are we late to the party?" Delta called through to them. A large contingent of the Armada, mirroring the Mechera fleet, swiftly approached them.

"Alright." he replied. "Oni!" he shouted. "Go in... i'll guide you through." he ordered.

"Yes, sir!" the AI shouted as his hologram disappeared.

On the Mechera ships, several of the screens on the bridge displayed a blue Delta symbol. "Im sorry King..." Delta whispered to himself.

It wouldn't be that easy to even make that much happen. The Mechera all controlled their ships from Cyberspace, and had many of the advantages that Delta had, the Mechera had too. The unnatural speed, the prowess in cyberspace, they possessed all of this. Because they existed within cyberspace, in fact, they were even able to see the hacking attempt as it happened, allowing them to easily lock the attempts out before any access was even gained, in no small part due to the multitudes of Mechera operating each and every ship. As this happened, a message was sent to the opposing Fleet, in a voice Delta would no doubt recognize:
[Is this what it has come to? Attacking your own kin simply because of a lust for power, Delta? I had thought you were far better than that...But I suppose you may yet prove me wrong.]
Do you have what it takes to change your destiny, to defy FATE itself?

Jikore reached quickly into his pocket, pulling out a small, square black box. He pressed a single button upon it and dropped it to the ground. At that point, it began to lower itself into the ground... Deep into the ground. What was it's purpose, and what was it doing? It was a Core Bomb, and it was expanding. Soon, it's physical size would be much larger, and it would successfully absorb energy from the thermal reactions of the seismic activity. Whatever was coming was only giving it strength as it descended.

But the small fighter, despite enemy fire from such massive of a fleet, seemed to be unphased, as if the ammo were moving right through it. It continued to move closer to the large fleet. What was it planning, and why would the ammunition not hit it? What was this fighter? Why was it all that the Anrufe was sending towards the massive fleet?

At Warsite "Alpha", where the fight between UnStellar, Felix, Kaley and a few Anrufe members were going on, Jikore began to freeze the components of the Soldier-Classes. Some miles away, other Anrufe members were dealing with these threats differently. Zere, for instance, used seals on many of them. Assassin created explosion circles to blow up the air around them and, hopefully, them as well. Red Zero set many on fire. Green Zero used illusions to change the perception of data to the destroyers.

The DAIS would be sure to, no doubt, spread out around the planet, instead of concentrating the fleet at one point, all while staying away from the massive fleet on the other side of the planet, which was engaging the fighter. The DAIS received orders not to attack unless fired upon, but instead to focus all artillery on the planet below. The Mechera could stop one or two ships, sure, but if the ships were spread out all around the planet and all firing on the planet, there would be no way for them to even come close to stopping the planet's destruction, unless they divided their fleet, which would give the Anrufe the advantage.

Anrufe ships joined the DAIS, arriving in orbit and spreading out over the planet, away from the massive flagship fleet. They began to charge Time Tower Sun weaponry just in case the Mechera did engage. They began to fire plasma blasts, heat-seaking energy missiles, and CutFiber bombs on the planet below. A single Torch class and a single River class, using Lotus shields, began to charge up for unleashing their fury upon the planet. It was time for war. The planet would be destroyed.

The ground basically rejected the black box. Vines encased it and flung it out, ejecting it from the earth. The ground was starting to break, straight tears were forming. The temperature was rising, the snow in killzone Alpha began to melt. The razor feathers met much resistance, the soil continually blocking them and redirecting them.
"5." UnStellar said.
"4." Felix said.
"3." Kailey said, way down in the earth.
"2." UnStellar said.
"1!" They screamed simultaneously, and the trio worked in rapid succession. Kailey's spell took full effect. With a deafening, echoing boom, and flash, lava erupted in enormous quantities, flinging itself right at the Anrufe in Alpha.  The earth opened into a cone, Kailey had triggered a volcano right underneath them all. It rose higher, and more and more lava was striking at them like tentacles, hot as the sun. The force of the volcano explosion would send them flying. Kailey was in the funnel, which was being built fast with strong frozen lava and continually growing taller and even MORE lava was being flung in to the air at the Anrufe. Ash and gases would fill the air, and it was toxic. The ash would render air travel almost impossible. It was a spectacle to behold. Through it all, Kailey calmly perched in the core of the volcano, surrounded by rock. Hey very clothes had melted off, and she replaced them with lava and frozen lava armor. The volcano was an extension of her will, and she manipulated every part of it. The earth fed her more gasses and lava, and she continually dished it out in unwaning power. Wave after wave struck.

Immediately after the volcanic explosion, Felix established Pathshaker over killzone Alpha. Pathshaker was a brother-spell of Kneebringer. No spells would be able to close portals in it, and it acted as an AT field to all inside it. It was a massive yellow bubble, with the volcano in it's center. It also acted as a barrier blocking escape by the Anrufe. Unless they were able to stop it, the volcanic explosion would fling the Anrufe into this barrier wall, severely harming them. As the ash filled the air, Felix hit the ground. UnStellar set the "Grid", Portals formed everywhere inside Pathshaker, in a labyrinth of UnStellar's design. He entered one and disappeared. A portal also absorbed the black box, sending it into a pocket dimension and closing immediately. This was the Killzone, the Anrufe were for the most part trapped in it.

The volcano triggered violent reactions outside the Killzone, hurting other Anrufe operatives with earthquakes and tidal waves.

The figure, had disappeared and reappeared away from the volcanic explosion, covered in his solid water sphere, with its strange scorpion tail with sickly green tipped stinger. However, He had left, a number of specter runes in the air where he was, thus where the volcanic spell erupted. Considering that they were not physical, the volcanic blast would have no effect on them. You see, he did not teleport, on the spur of a moment, he invest a new kind of transportation. He move from one snowflake to another. He Snow Traveled, being a brand new kind of transportation, there was no way to block it this round. He had brought Jikore with him, working with his comrade.

The Figure was floating high in the sky, well away from any earthquakes of tidal waves. The figure did not need to breath the air, he never had breathed natural atmosphere for the entirety of his life, why would he start now?

Only, the Tidal waves become solid, not frozen, but solid. Nor did they stop acting like a liquid, just if hit would be solid, and as hard as steel. Even if evaporated this water would remain solid. Four huge tidal waves, of solid structure crashed into the eruption, as the Specter runes began to drop the temperture in the local are to near absolute zero, turning the lava to stone near instantly should there be nothing that could counter absolute zero that the area would hit soon.

This temperature spell, would effect not just the local area, the whole planet was becoming colder, as the planet wide blizzard raged, concealing  the figures and Jikores location. Even then, there were hundreds of copies, illusions of them all over the planet if the would detect them over a planet wide blizzard and the figure magic signature obscuring other signatures by being all over the surface due to the storm.

Anything Jokore did, the figure would have the illusions do the same.

The DAIS followed the Anrufe's orders to the letter. They had their own main weapons ready incase the Mechera ships fired. On the Command Vessel, Oni came back almost as soon as he left. "no good sir!" he called out. "They have just as many people as we do." he informs Delta.

Delta turned to one of the screens as the message came through. He stood there shocked. This was something that he had never experienced before, or at least in a while. Guilt? Why did he feel that? The Mechera should understand why he does this... Why he has to.

He sent a simply reply back to Falzone.

<<<In the Forbidden zone, King Falzone.>>>

The forbidden zone was a common slang among those in cyberspace. It refereed to a neutral sub-level on the net that no one owns or will ever own. It was a white space that had absolutely nothing in it, it was meant to simulate non-existence or purgatory. It was such a fearsome place to the AIs and such that they dubbed it the "Forbidden" zone.

Delta, alone, appeared in the white space awaiting Falzone.

"[37|=1|23]"
This...Sound would ring out through the planet, as the many Pseudo-Magic Cores operating within the Aegis Contingents on world began to activate. It was not the sound of the symbols being read out as what they were, but yet only those symbols could represent what it sounded like even so. And with the sound, the planet began to heat up. Yes, there was a spell cooling it down, created via magical means. Just as this was also a spell, created by Pseudo-Magic. The snow itself would melt, as the Pseudo-Magic regulated the planet's temperature against the magic utilized by the enemy operatives. As well, the Pseudo-Magic, guided by the Mechera controlling it, did nothing to stop the effects of their ally's volcano, allowing it to rage unaffected. But...This was mostly a by-product of the attack itself. Fire erupted in pillars through the battlefields, aimed at the Mechera's foes.

The Soldiers at point Alpha were frozen, but thawed out due to the above re-heating of the planet. All of the Aegis contingents opened fire at their foes, while those with energy shields operated them in order to protect from harm. The Soldiers, making up the bulk majority of the forces, made up most of the casualties received by the Mechera side, but did damage as well; their powerful rail cannons, machine guns, and missile launchers were all fired at once. The Angel Knights fired off their grenade cannons and their assault rifles at the foes, while the Defenders used their massive, shoulder-mounted sniper-cannons at hit the foes with extreme accuracy. The flying Shields fired off their plasma cannons and machine guns from the sky, and as well, fired their beam cannons directly for the foes. While the foes were just infantry, the Mechera...Well, they'd no reason not to be overkill. Especially with how destructive they seemed to be capable of. As for the massive waves of solid water, once they saw how the things worked(that is, being solid rather than liquid) used this to their advantage. They couldn't really stop it, but after it hit them they were (relatively) unphased; it hit with the force of steel, sure, but these were giant mechs made of a material far stronger than steel. Again, they did suffer casualties, but it didn't wipe them out. A tidal wave to one of the Aegis...Really more like a normal wave, it left them a bit more battered with the extra force but they were able to still move just fine. They fought under the water as normal, the pillars of fire strangely unaffected by the water(though obviously not burning the water itself up), with the [37|=1|23] 'spell' keeping the water from freezing by infusing it with heat once the mage tried to freeze it. Of course, anyone else caught in the way of the water prooobably wouldn't be in the best shape...

On the other battlefields, the Mechera used Pseudo-Magic to attempt to fight back the enemy magic(Pseudo-Magic 'pockets' to stop the spell circles from being close enough that the explosions harm them, re-writing the magic in the seals themselves to be redirected back at Zere, the ones set on fire...Er...were set on fire? They wouldn't really melt that quickly, I should think..., using Pseudo-Magic for a 'true sight' at the illusions by making particles of Pseudo-Magic spread around the area in order to determine locations rather than conventional sight, and relying on that data instead), but otherwise fought mainly the same.

Gregory acknowledged the message, and soon enough a circle appeared within the Forbidden Zone, a hole leading to the Mechera Net with access permissions only allowing Gregory through. The hole quickly closed once he got through, though he could re-open it at any time. He appeared as a man with wavy, prismatic hair, wearing a pure white jumpsuit and a spiked crown, similar to the one his corporeal body had except designed for a more...Normal head.
"Rather undiplomatic of you to continue the attack while asking to meet with the head of your foe." Gregory said, not with his usual aloofness. His face was mostly neutral, except...His eyes. The irises were as white as the rest of his eyes; you couldn't even tell they were there if not for the black outlines of them. Delta would know, no doubt, of how the Mechera used color to convey emotion through their eyes, reds usually diplomatic, purple as surprise, orange as sadness, blue neutral and pure white...Being anger. Fury. Gregory himself was indeed quite angry, not simply at this betrayal, but also at the harm that would come to the civilians on the world below. "If you've anything of worth to say, then I shall listen to your words, Delta. If not...I have a battle that I must lead."

In space, the Mechera would see the foes attacking in slow motion. This was not shock, was not disbelief. This...Was how they saw the physical world. Was why they could react within miliseconds, could plan entire strategies in the span of a half of a second.
And also how space itself cracked and broke open right in front of the opposing fleet as soon as they fired. Their shots would be swallowed whole by the gaping maw of blue, and pass through space of the Mechera dimension for a brief amount of time(about .25 seconds) once they reached the end of the tunnel, before yet another crack in space appeared, this one leading back into the Mortal Dimension. Right behind the enemy fleet. Both ID-Gates remained, shielding the planet in case of more enemy fire, and also allowing the shots to pass through back at the enemy ships if they dared attempt it. In addition, at the overtures of war clearly displayed, the Mechera began to charge their PSB Cannons, while the Battleships charged their Energy Collection Weapons. In addition, the Division-Class Capitals moved to the front of the formation, in order to block assaultive fire with the four shields each one had individually. The other Mechera weaponry on board the ships was prepared as well, the Nuclear Missile Silos of the Battleships, the ten Anti-Capital Cannons of the First Battalion, the long-range artillery of the First Legion, the normal cannons of the Divisions, essentially everything they were able to ready. But they didn't attack...Not yet. This was a warning, as the enemy forces no-doubt knew they could not strike at the planet effectively, which would mean spacial war would need to come first.
( 1/3 First Battalion PSB Charge x3, 1/5 other PSB Charges x10, 1/? Energy Collection Weapon x4)

Keith saw the tidal wave coming, and shielded Denera(and her summon) from its blow by using Chaos. Normally, its effect was...Random, to say the least, but he controlled it enough to cause it to prevent the water from coming through, forming a bubble in the water which he rose to the surface of the wave, where he then dispelled it. "Solid, huh? Must be one of our allies, dont see why the enemy would want this raining down on their heads. Come on, lets go!" He said, leading her across the surface of the water towards the main battlefield. Once they got to where the enemy mages were, he looked down at the explosion site, making sure to protect Denera from the heat-It had little effect on him, but she was still a living creature, she needed to be protected. Her summon, Ravage, expressed discontent at the heat, but otherwise seemed to be able to survive in the conditions. The three of them peered around the area of the volcano, looking around for their enemies. "Hrnn...I dont see Jikore, or Seither. Hope they got out alright, but we dont have time to look for 'em. These guys are good enough to make a volcano, they cant be put off."

The ground basically rejected the black box. Vines encased it and flung it out, ejecting it from the earth. The ground was starting to break, straight tears were forming. The temperature was rising, the snow in killzone Alpha began to melt.

The box refused to be rejected, seemingly absorbing the thermal-kinetic energy from the vines, and stopping their movement as it continued to sink, fighting its way out of their grasp and continuing its descent. The more the vines and what not tried to fight, the more they empowered it. As such, it did not loose any time from the distraction on its way down, and was right on course despite the vines. It would reach its target soon enough.

Jikore continually lowered the temperature as the ground's gasses caused it to rise. It was a battle of the wills here now, to determine which would win. Jikore knew what he was doing, and was determined to be victorious in this battle. It was his mission, and he wasn't going to let a couple of tremors in the ground stop him. He had to be strong.

Quote
With a deafening, echoing boom, and flash, lava erupted in enormous quantities, flinging itself right at the Anrufe in Alpha.

Jikore and Reli both reacted accordingly, Jikore being sure to distance himself from the lava, while Reli seemed to embrace it, as his red electric magic surrounded him and the lava both. It was causing the lava to explode violently, raining back down upon the ground, erupting all around UnStellar, Felix, and Kaley. He was using their own lava against themselves.

Quote

It was becoming intense, and despite the constant redirection of lava and attempts at freezing the air around them, this was too much. Whatever they had done, it was strong. Point Alpha was no longer a suitable location for fighting. They needed to get out of the area and attack from much higher in the air, out of the range of the ashes which were rising up for miles now.

Quote
A portal also absorbed the black box, sending it into a pocket dimension and closing immediately.

The black box seemed to absorb the very magic around the portal, or at least, was trying, but it would take some time. It was slowly eating away at the portal, breaking down its base magic and using it as fuel. It would be a bit before it could get through, though, so the portal had succeeded in at least slowing it down. It kept struggling, fighting...

Quote
The volcano triggered violent reactions outside the Killzone, hurting other Anrufe operatives with earthquakes and tidal waves.

As the effects began to be felt all over the planet, other Anrufe operatives dealt with it by using wards to try to calm the Earth.

Quote

The moment Jikore and the figure escaped from Point Alpha, he set to work coordinating with Reli's efforts in Point Alpha itself. He began to target enemies, such as the trio who had been in Point Alpha (though it seemed one had escaped), and began to freeze their blood and lower their body temperatures. He also helped to reinforce the planet-wide blizzard.

As the new spell came into play, Jikore was sure to put all that much more attention on the spell of he and the figure, trying to override it, successfully quenching more of the rising fires. On the planet, Anrufe operatives such as Red Zero actually used the fire to their advantage. Red Zero began to shift the location of the fire, moving it, localizing it, so that instead of erupting all over the planet, it would only rise up near her, the fire mage.

Any Aegis outside Point Alpha would find themselves caught up in the battle of heat vs. ice, one minute being frozen solid, and the next, being heated. At the time, there was virtually no Anrufe infantry on the ground for them to fire out, besides the spread out members of the Anrufe, and it was unlikely that any would be found, but if they were, they responded by using their advanced levels of magic to wipe out some of the soldiers before disappearing into the harsh climate. Over time, the vast cooling and heating of the planet would cause all metal on the planet to expand rapidly and fall to pieces. This would wipe out a good many of the enemy.

Fighting back with Pseudo-Magic would not give the Mechera an advantage. It would only serve in their interest to try and even the playing field a little bit, but the Anrufe would still have the advantage. They were, after all, accustomed to fighting magic on magic battles. It was the kind of fighting they knew best. They were well trained and able to fight back as they continued guerrilla warfare, slipping into the shadows constantly and attacking bit by bit. For instance, the spell circles compensated being limited in how close they could get by making their explosions bigger (by expanding the size of the spell circle itself), Zere regained control of his seals (people tried controlling his seals all the time) and once more launched them at the enemy, Red Zero continued her attempt on making the enemy melt by raising fire temperature, and the illusions only continued to layer themselves over with more illusions in an attempt to further damage visibility. The Mechera were not likely used to this type of warfare. The Anrufe were.

Right behind the enemy fleet.

As attacks directed at the planet appeared right behind the scattered fleet, most ships used their mages aboard to teleport the artillery back towards the planet, while others reacted by raising their shields accordingly. Some used the redirect of fire to their advantage, absorbing kinetic energy of the incoming fire to further power more fire at the planet. Many of the initial attacks were not redirected -- there was no way the Mechera's redirect could sweep the entire radius of orbit.

Quote
Both ID-Gates remained, shielding the planet in case of more enemy fire, and also allowing the shots to pass through back at the enemy ships if they dared attempt it.

Upon realizing that the ID-Gates were what was stopping their attacks, the ships merely FTL'd directly into the upper-atmosphere of the planet, past the ID-Gates, compensating for inertia and gravity before preforming the maneuver. Once they completed this action, they continued firing on the planet. They were intent on bringing it down.

-

As fire rained down once more, now all the more stronger, massive craters began to burrow into the planet, and much of the Mecheran ground forces were wiped out from upper-atmosphere. A few Anrufe ships dared fly low to the ground from the upper atmosphere, to assist in the destruction efforts. Fighters -- Raven fighters -- were deployed to start digging into the ground below. This assault was just beginning.

The small fighter was now very close to the Mechera Fleet, and it seemed to be unleashing some sort of radiation.

The Torch and River fields were now ready to fire, and they were strategically placed on opposite sides of the planet, but due to the blizzard below, the Torch did not yet fire. On one side of the planet, water began to jet down en masse on the planet from high above. It wasn't simply like rain, it was a jet of water, it's pressure easily causing mass erosion the moment it hit the ground. The planet started to flood, slowly. Much of the water froze, freezing enemy Mechera with it, but the flood continued, and most Anrufe operatives took to the sky to avoid being caught up in the flood.

Decay fields also began to be raised over areas on the planet below, targeting planet structure. The planet was in shambles, with all of this fighting going on. It was only a matter of time before it exploded.

OOC: 2/4 posts till Time Tower Sun is charged, 1/17 posts until Core Bomb explosion (1/2 posts until it eats through the portal), 1/15 posts until attacks cause core detonation (taking into account the various attacks on the planet), 1/15 posts until Ravens reach core of the planet, and 1/20 posts until planet is flooded.

Pathshaker trapped in the various gasses and heat coming from the volcano, turning Killzone Alpha into a hotbox. Thus, the snow had melted, meaning the mysterious Figure, AND Jikore, were either dead, having been in a snowflake when it melted, or stranded in the open and vulnerable to attack, as no snowflakes were there for them to teleport to.

This spell never took affect, as the Figure was either dead or injured earlier on. Regardless, the waves could not enter Killzone Alpha, Pathshaker blocked them.

The blizzard had melted due to the killer temperatures inside the Killzone, though outside the Killzone was the Mechera's job. Like earlier, both the figure and Jikore were unable to cast the illusion spells. However, even if they had, the Violet Mazheek could easily decipher the illusion from the real.

Jikore could focus on freezing the ground, but that would probably lead to him getting seriously harmed by all the other event that just occurred. There was no where to run, the lava arms extended to the edges of Pathshaker, enveloping just about everything in between. The UnStellar was not on the ground, and actually shifted his portals and flung the lava right back at Rell. The more he dished out, the more would be returned. Felix was also missing in the portals. Kailey was utterly immune to lava at this point, even if his attacks could reach her.

His lava attacks were continually being redirected back at him, and as soon as he entered the labyrinth, Felix struck from an area behind the portal, hurricane level winds ripped at Reli, lifting him off the ground. UnStellar used his portal connections to fling more lava at the Anrufe who were still stuck in the Killzone, doubling the output and angles it came from.

Despite their efforts to escape, the Anrufe were locked in, and their efforts left them more open to attack. Kailey's vengeance poured out like a broken damn, the lava simply wouldn't let up.

The blizzard overrode the heat, why? Simple. the temperature of the planet hit absolute zero. All the heat did was balance out the temperature back out to something a little less extreme, just a chilly minus two-hundred Celsius. The teleport did happen, how? because it replaced the snowflake, even if it had melted it, it would have just replaced the melted water, instead of the snowflake. No, there was still a planet-wide blizzard, one that generated many, many more sigels that continued to have a lowering effect on the planet temperature.

Oh, and the fun part? The sigels could not be melted either, because, guess what? They were not corporeal. They were ethereal. Heat, cold, or what have you did nothing to them. Wile, yes they themselves did cool the the planet itself rapidly, they themselves could not be affect physically, and the little bit about trying to use pseudo-magic to melt them? All that did know what was trying to mess with his sigels, but since what was being tried would obviously have no affect on them, cannot melt ethereal. They Just went about their day, ho I don;t know, totally freezing the volcanic material, and when you freeze volcanic material you get solid stone, whatever and whoever was inside was most likely trapped.

The sigels would continue to multiply, as far the illusions, they were literally their magic signatures, and everything that by senses were them, there was no at glace way to tell them apart.  However, the nice note right now, what that the blizzard had in-within itself become solid, temperature even if they somehow manage to it up was no longer a factor, in appearance and look it was a blizzard, in texture and effect it was a solid mass of water that barrage everything on the surface.

Parts of it rang a strange chant as the blizzard raged, hot and cold no longer a factor in ridding it. The chant spread throughout the whole blizzard as if its own spell, the chant had a somber tone, that off ancestors, of dancing. The blizzard itself seemed to dance. The power of it seem to leak into the planet atmosphere, what was this spell and what exactly was its aim, who knows?

Oddly enough, the DAIS ships ceased fire on the planet, but stood their ground in the path of the Mechera. This was more of throwing a metaphoric olive leaf towards the forces for the time being. There wasnt much change on the ground, as MI7 teams, under the command of the ground operatives continued to rain terror upon the planet, of course not with out going through the Sanguine Unit (Their effective Mechera counterpart, under the command of Valdamee').

On First Battalion, Thel coordinated the ground force to attempt to fix the climate change. "Sir" a soldier calls out. "Enemy fleet has ceased fire. Orders?"

"What is he up to..." He asks himself. "Where is Falzone!"

"Still off the grid sir." Another answers back.

"Move into blitz formation. Be prepared to take out their battleships, and the command vessel. Keep the weapons charging." He barks.

[ID-Rend Authorized, by order of the Admiral of the First Battalion]
[Gateway here, preparing to initialize. This tactic hasn't been tested yet, though...Are you sure it will work?]
[We need all the advantages we can get]

Once the enemy ships re-materialized in order to strike at the planet, a split-second after, in fact, another ID-Gate was activated. But this one wasn't to stop their shot, or to bring in reinforcements...This was to put them down for good.
Space cracked at the site, breaking and fragmenting. And where was it, you ask? Why, the ID-Gate was going right THROUGH the enemy ships, literally bisecting them as one half would be on one side of the break while the other on its side. And that's not even mentioning the damage caused by the laws of physics being broken right where you are. Just in case this still didn't work, however, the Mechera kept their weapons online and charging. In addition, seeing the hostile intent, several frigates and smaller classed ships were moved closer to the assault fleet, ready to fire at a moment's notice.
(All counters previously mentioned advance by 1)

The planet was much warmer than any negative. As all of the Mechera Aegis Contingents possessed Pseudo-Magic Cores, and a somewhat sizeable percent were utilizing them to regulate the temperature, the attempts of the spell to cool it down just wouldn't work. Not anymore, in any case. Because of this, it at least wasn't cold. Much more than that, though, would need to be handled by their allies.

Buffeted by the hard rain as they were, the Aegis were unaffected almost entirely. These were built to protect all Mechera worlds, under any conditions, and snow and ice was just another state of weather some planets had, same as sandstorms or heavy rains. At worst it affected their visibility, but this was a relatively minor concern. At Green Zero, his illusions would have no affect; the Aegis there were relying on the Pseudo-Magic Particles to perfectly map out the area rather than take any data from their senses. The Core simply knew where they were due to the nature of the 'spell', preventing disinformation from being effective against them. As the circles got bigger, so too did the pockets, pushing them away and preventing the the explosion's effect. When the seals were taken back, the Mecheragot past that with Pseudo-Magic barriers, each one trapped by the Mechera creating it. But what would the trap do...? Red Zero's plot held the most success, but the the Mechera had ways past that too, by funneling the heat out pf them into a sort of 'heat sink' somewhere, obviously not a literal one but you get the idea. It wasn't overheating them anymore, after all. Used to Magic Warfare or no, the Mechera were extremely adaptable due to their ability to process information before many organics can even think. Analyzation of new data is secondhand, devising new strategies to combat them made in the span of seconds, if that. Anrufe may have been used this, but the Mechera? They were damn fast learners.

As they tried to combat the pillars of fire, especially when trying to take them over, something...Strange happened. It was not as simple as the fire refusing to be controlled, or put out, yet...Something immensely wrong was about the fire. It was unnatural, even by the supernatural standards of this dimension. As they tried to affect it, the flames began to grow, spread, blaze harder. Strangely, they even burned onto Mechera Aegis Contingents, and not just 'oooo I'm coated in fire meh', no,   it was more like 'AUGH HOLY HELL I'M ON FIRE PUTITOUT'. Even normal magic immunities to this would not protect against it, and attempts to control it through magical means only fueled it further. It was...[ W1£Ðƒ1r3], uncontrolled, one result of many, caused by the few, but still existent instabilities of the Pseudo-Magic system. And it burned even through the water all around it from the one mage's spell, when they'd attempted to freeze the planet. When it was first made as pillars of flame, it'd burned within the waves of water, after all, so why would it stop now? Even the Mechera fled, leaving Red Zero mostly to fend for herself against the mutated, unnatural spell, for she was where the greatest concentration of it was. Lacking its original fuel source, Pseudo-Magic, it also attacked the next best source all around it, the ethereal magic, burning it to keep aflame as it raged in a massive, constantly growing fireball.

Keith then saw the two Mages controlling the massive volcano. He grinned, before saying,"Hey! You all there! Guess I gotta find SOMETHIN' to do, and you'll all make as good enemies as any." He turned his arm into a massive crossbow, aiming it directly for one of the foes, before letting loose a bolt made entirely of Chaos.

OOC: Assuming Cap's post is valid.

Quote
His lava attacks were continually being redirected back at him, and as soon as he entered the labyrinth, Felix struck from an area behind the portal, hurricane level winds ripped at Reli, lifting him off the ground. UnStellar used his portal connections to fling more lava at the Anrufe who were still stuck in the Killzone, doubling the output and angles it came from.

As lava was redirected back towards Reli, he continued to use his red magic to cause the lava to expand rapidly and cause bursts of lava explosions around the battlefield. When the hurricane-force winds started to pick him up off the ground, he seemed to have a psychotic laughter on his face, though the wind's whipping seemed to block anyone from hearing him. These fools had no idea...

And then, in that moment, he stopped making the lava explode, he stopped resisting the wind, and he stopped fighting back. He let the lava come in towards him, the wind come in towards him, and whatever other attacks come in towards him. A blackened, seemingly burnt body dropped to the ground... And then, a moment later, it stood back up, the lava coating his body. He was well alive, and had learned the Pathshaker, how it worked, and what it did.

The lava no longer hurt him, he controlled it. The ground shaking no longer caused him to move, he grew strength from it. Flying through the air well above the labyrinth, using the hurricane forced winds to help his flight, the lava-covered negi, arms outstretched, began to draw all the lava, wind, and ground towards him. As bits and pieces of debris flew towards him, they encompassed his growing lava body, as a ball of lava, earth, and debris started to slowly form around him.

As space began to crack around the Anrufe, they knew what was about to happen. Quickly adjusting onboard Energetic Transfer Disruptors, they prepared to stop the incoming ID-Gates. While ETD's were designed to stop flow of energy from other UNIVERSES, by adjusting the ETD's to stop flow of energy from THIS universe instead of another universe, they could effectively stop the ID-Gates from forming. In case this didn't work, though, they threw everything they had at the cracks -- Portal Obstruction, Teleportation Obstruction, Formation-Breaking Shields.

But the Flood ship wasn't simply producing rain. It was causing heavy jets of water with intense pressure to flood the entire planet, slowly, while also causing mass erosion. Water was rising quickly, dozens of feet at a time, and the ground underneath the Aegis and others was eroding, causing earthquakes and landslides over the entire planet.

Analyzation of new data is secondhand, devising new strategies to combat them made in the span of seconds, if that. Anrufe may have been used this, but the Mechera? They were damn fast learners.

The Anrufe all continued to fly through the air, not wasting time combating smaller soldiers. Each one had a different skill or ability. Each one used their skill or ability to further the cause. How was different for each of them. The point was, they were fighting back. They were going to take out the enemy. Nobody was going to stop them.

Zere's attack that he now formed was a large seal circle in the sky, seemingly glowing with a black energy. This seal circle began to etch itself into the atmosphere there, though it would have no real affect right now. Not until Zere's spell was complete. This seal circle was just the first part of his spell, a mere stepping stone of sorts.

Assassin, meanwhile, had spread an explosion circle throughout much of the ground below, and was using his staff to remotely detonate his circles from the air. The flood waters would bubble as explosions ruptured underneath them, further damaging the integrity of the ground below. He continued to spread his explosion circles out further.

Red Zero was having an interesting time fighting the wild fire spell, but she was loosing hope. She was having a hard time maintaining her spell to breathe under water, and at the same time was trying to fight back against the fire with more fire. The fire rained upon her skin, and her muffled scream rose up through the water. She began to sink down, loosing hope, and her eyes started to shut to unconsciousness as she gave way when...

I don't think so, mother.

Her eyes opened back once more, after telepathically receiving the message, and she looked over to her son, Kenny Zero, grabbing hold of his mother as he floated upwards out of the water, the fire below being eaten away by seals which appeared to simply be black energy floating through the water before sinking to the floor. As Red Zero and Kenny reached the surface, Kenny teleported his mother out of the battlefield, back to Ground Island to rest.

"I've got this, mother," the eight year old boy promised as he began to hover into the sky, pointing his hand down towards the water. Deep under the rising flood waters, a small light started to shine as massive waves started to erupt among the flood waters.

The black box which was sinking into the ground finished eating through the portal and began to continue its path, sinking into the ground. The Raven fighters, which had descended before the ships started fighting the ID Gates, continued their paths, digging. This caused much of the water to sink into their large holes, and further erode the ground. They were... Unique in their efforts.

The fighter releasing radiation took advantage of it's status being fairly ignored. It was now right among the rest of the Mecheran fleet, it's radiation growing larger and larger. ACID nanites were also released from the fighter and began to eat into the fields of the Mecheran ships. Of course, there was something else about this fighter that just seemed... Different.

OOC: Still 2/4 posts till Time Tower Sun is charged, 2/17 posts until Core Bomb explosion (2/2 posts until it eats through the portal), Still 1/15 posts until attacks cause core detonation (taking into account the various attacks on the planet), 2/15 posts until Ravens reach core of the planet, 2/20 posts until planet is flooded, 1/4 posts until Reli's cannonball, 1/5 posts until Zere's seal attack, 1/4 posts until Kenny's "Kracken" Seal.

OOC:Since its not looking like UnStellar or Cap will soon be posting in here, I guess I'll continue my defense...

The Anrufe's efforts to stop the ID-Gate was in vain, as the walls between the dimensions were broken. The ID-Gate-Generator was merely a tool used to do this, not necessarily sending energy through to the other dimension(just breaking apart what separated them and allowing a way through). As well, the Gate wasn't a portal in the first place, nor a form of teleportation(though in all fairness, it had been intended to be one originally). The shields wouldn't have any great effect, especially seeing as normal shielding seemed to gave no effect. The immanent destruction of the enemy ships was at hand, it would seem.

As for the flood ships, thaaaat wasn't the rain I'd meant(was receding to Cap's post with his making rain solid, either way). Still, it did have a effect upon the Mechera forces, though as they were already underwater it did very little to them as they kept fighting. Underneath 'solid' water.

The seals could never be made, as the magic intended to make them was burned up. This wasn't a ordinary magical fire, it literally ran upon magic as its oxygen now, using it as fuel to continue burning(of course, it did still use air, which allowed it to burn more physical things, like people or whatever else, it just was able to sustain itself off magic). It wasn't AM, but its affect was...Similar, in that Magic was, in many ways, useless against it when used to directly combat it. If Red Zero's son did still attempt his rescue, he'd have to do so with the danger of the [W1£Ðƒ1r3] still raging around her and burning her(and on the note, the same occurred against her fire, burned away before it could be made). As well, the flames began to spread further through the planet, carried along by the magic making the blizzard to gave occurred(and allowing whatshisface and Minors to travel through the snow/water droplets). Because this magic was everywhere, it was allowing the fire to spread unrestrained, even to the other battlefields. As it did, Mechera abandoned their Aegis Contingent bodies, deserting the battlefield in order to survive as it blazed across the planet. The worst was Green Zero by far, blanketed with not only the snow travel spell but also the illusions and the Pseudo-Magic particles, acting like a volatile cocktale when the fire reached it. Still, the other battlefields were hit pretty hard too, such as Assassin's explosive circles being burned away even as they exploded, and Zere's black mark being burned to nothing as the fireball got there. The Raven Fighters themselves were by now charging straight at a wall of ever-expanding flame...Not the beeeest idea by any means. Still, the flooding of the planet was mostly unopposed, because the flames were still designed to largely ignore water rather than burn it up. Even so, the box itself would likely be incinerated by the flames as they chased it down through the hole it'd created.

The Mechera received news of the Pseudo-Magic spell gone horribly wrong once the Contingent Forces had used the 'net to retreat back to the ship, and wouldn't allow their allies to die if they could help it. Before the flames reached point Alpha, and assuming nothing preventing this from transpiring, the Mechera made a last-ditch effort to teleport the four(I think it was four? Or was Julia the fourth, who is now on a different planet? Either way) allied Mages directly onto the First Battalion. The Admiral of the First Battalion would play upon the Intercom near them,"Apologies for the rough transportation, but I didn't want to take chances to prepare a smoother ride. You are all alright, yes?"
Meanwhile, the Mechera ignored the peaceful envoys of the DAIS, saying only,[Do not expect kindness if you protect those who would strike upon our land. We will give you our one warning, but that will be the only one.]
(All counters mentioned increase by one, with the exception of those fully charged, which are holding their charge)

The enemy ship releasing radiation was annoying at best(radioactivity really doesn't have much affect upon machines), but in the interest of getting rid of a potential threat, the Phase Generator in orbit created a Fused Zone directly around it and its manifest, then forced them into Phase Space, where for now the could do no harm, then collapsing the Fused Zone, locking the ship outside Real Space.

Keith saw the approaching wall of flame, and quickly opened a Chaos Warp and threw Denera and her summon in, closing it before the flames hit to save her rather than himself. Of course, Keith was made of not Magic, Pseudo-Magic, nor any flammable substance, and was therefor untouched by the flames even as they erupted through where he was. He breathed a sigh of relief, and was about to open a Chaos Warp before he realized that it'd likely let the fires into the Warp, and decided against it. Instead, he grew wings and flew over the battlefield, trying to find any allied Anrufe members he'd be able to help escape or rescue.

OOC:Well, its been just about a week(not including the time you were gone, K2), aaand I'd rather not have the Mechera stalled anymore than necessary, sooo...3-Day-Rule.

The Anrufe ships were effectively bisected entirely by the ID-Rend attack, and the two halves of each one would be floating away from each other. Chances are, they'd be almost entirely rendered inoperable, as the vital systems on each side were completely cut off from one another and everywhere at the center of the ships was exposed to vacuum, which would kill off a good portion of the crew. The Anrufe Fleet attacking Violet was ripped apart mercilessly, and even if they were still partly operational, there would be no chance to escape unscathed without their engines.

With the magic intended to create the seals burned up before it even made it that far, Red Zero's fate seemed sealed. By now, she was suffering third-degree burns all across her body from the [W1£Ðƒ1r3], and would probably be dying. Luckily for her(or unluckily, if you know the Mechera at ALL), she was detected by the First Battalion. The command was given to teleport her into a maximum security emergency care wing, devoid of oxygen and with all anti-fields active except AT. The moment she was teleported there, the AT field activated, locking her in, and while she DID carry the fire with her initially, once in the AM Field and oxygenless atmosphere it almost immediately burned out. After that, oxygen was pumped back into the room, and several Mechera doctors(well, their knowledge of anatomy was largely Narrikian based, but they DID still know a few things about humanoid biological functions) were admitted inside to...Not necessarily aid her in recovery, but at least keep her alive. After they were sure she wasn't going to die of her injuries and stabilized her out of the shock, they began a delicate operation, specifically to ensure that they wouldn't NEED the AM field around her. You see, they surgically removed...Her Soul Organ. Lucky thing they'd captured that explosion Anrufe Member a few years before, the one with the explosions, or they wouldn't even know that was the magical organ of their race!
(Blah blah blah, all of this paragraph after the teleportation is a attempt if you even have the capability to counteract it, blah blah blah)

Despite Red Zero's 'good fortune', however, the rest of the Anrufe was in a desolate state. Keith was still the only one unaffected entirely by the flames(Since he was A:Not composed of physical matter, and B:Not even capable of using Magic), and he saw Reli as he flew high. He used a burst of speed to reach his comrade, opening a Chaos Warp just behind him before yelling,"Dont move, Im here to help you!" as he tackled Reli into it, closing it after him before the fires could blaze in after him. Within the Chaos Warp, he asked Reli,"Where are the others? Those flames cant touch me, I can save them!"
As for the rest of the Anrufe forces, Green Zero was engulfed in flame and began burning in much the same way that Red Zero was being burned. Zere's spell circle in the sky was burned away entirely, the magic sustaining it completely gone, and the flames next moved to him. Assassin's explosive circles did nothing as the flames advanced upon them, then turned hungrily towards the next source of magic-Him. Kenny's efforts, while noble, were in vain as his seals were burned away, the magic allowing him to float incinerated, even his own magical attempt at teleporting his mother was destined to fail. All that he'd succeeded in doing by teleporting into the middle of the inferno was taking her place as the Mechera teleported her away from him. And of course, the two Anrufe operatives using that 'snow travel'...As the flames started to take hold of the magic within these molecules of water, and incinerated it, it would inevitably incinerate them as well, as they would have to literally be a part of the magic in order to travel along the water, melted or not. They would be incinerated as the fireball consumed the entirety of the planet-wide blizzard the ice-wielder created, killed by that spell he'd just designed.

The Mechera fleet saw the fireball engulfing the planet below, and while saddened by the loss of life, took solace in knowing the battle was, effectively, won. Even if there were still Anrufe operatives below on the planet, the amount of damage they could cause in the current state was trivial, and a massive reconstruction project would be underway before the planet would be remotely inhabitable, this much was certain. Any damage they could cause was nothing compared to the damage already inflicted. It was not a joyful victory, there was no cheering. But the battle was won, and all who would threaten the Mechera Empire or her allies need only look upon the Battle for Violet and despair. The leaders of the Harmony Branch of government were just debating how to go along with the reconstruction efforts when Gregory returned from the Forbidden Zone of Cyberspace. A few real-time seconds passed as he processed the data of the battle that'd occurred while he was gone...A exceptionally long time for a Mechera. Finally, he said,"No agreement was entirely reached between me and Delta...I dont know how he'll take our conversation. If the DAIS Fleet moves to engage our fleet hostilely, or to salvage or save any Anrufe technology or personnel, fire at will. Elsewise, they shall be allowed to retreat unharmed. Any other actions are to be met warily, but do not open fire without my say-so."
(First Battalion PSB Cannons fully charged, other PSB Cannons 4/5 chargedx10, Energy Collection Weapons 4/? chargedx4)

And the radiation releasing fighter is now banished to Phase Space, making it and its radiation and nanites effectively harmless and incapable of interacting with Real Space. Its...Really about the only thing that got off without being destroyed, I suppose.
Do you have what it takes to change your destiny, to defy FATE itself?
Let us test the limits of your abilities, and see if you have the WILL to do what no one else tries.
