Appearing on the inside of the City of the Ancients which Order had located using an antique piece of magic known as a star map, Robert and Arcane decided to improvise on their offense rather than follow orders. Arcane for his part of the offense tensed up and released a violent storm of lightning that once it hit would kill most of the people on the inside of the ship. Robert conditionally for his part released a blast of cold fire into the ship that would burn alive everyone it touched except for himself and Arcane. Both of them knew that failure this time was not an option.

(I suppose I would. Logan gave his stuff to me. And I think this is a city ship, rather than a planet.)

The shields held up to the lightning. In retaliation, dozens of missiles were launched. All of the pulse turrets shot at the two, hundreds of laser pulses went at the speed of light at them. Pulse turrets that could not aim at the two shot as close as possible to them. It provides some distraction and confusion.

When the two noticed that they were indeed being attacked by the city they were trying to gain control of they decided to retreat. Arcane was fast and as quick as lightning used his sword to tear open a portal which without hesitation both Robert Zakalia and himself jumped through immediately.

It takes time to notice things, and that was not good for the two. Time was not on their side, when pulses of lasers were going towards them, going at the speed of light of course. They literally didn't have time to open a portal up, and hundreds of intense pulses of light hit them. Of course, there are missiles, which went at high speeds at them. They exploded when they got close, though close enough to deal some serious damage.

When they finally got away both of them were injured so they would be unable to fight for a week at least depending on how fast their magic could heal them.

(Yeah, no. Sorry, they're dead. Take a look at what was shot at them, Hawkeye. Hundreds of lasers, PLUS missile explosions, which you decided not to defend against. Face it, they're dead.)
