This needs to be said...

Just because there is now a race called "Magister"does not mean you own the term. Just as Sage means "wise person," IRL, Magister means "teacher, mage, magic user, master" IRL and still holds that definition on SP.

IF someone wishes to call their character a Magister in term (a teacher) that DOES NOT fall under your race.

I have another call out for this race after reading his tech and just realizing something...

You understand that by approving this race you are making sure he is NEVER attacked by technology, right? Magic may affect him as he can't convert that since it's not energy. But if he can convert ANY kind of energy then tech is never a threat to his race. Shoot at him? He'd take the energy it takes to fire the laser, the lasers energy itsself, and the energy that causes the laser to move through space.

Shields? He'll absorb and take the energy of the shield don't bother protecting any of your territories.

Any attack by tech? Don't bother. As tech uses energy he can convert it.

Running away? He'll absorb and convert the energy in your speed.

-.- I'm calling BS and saying THAT needs to be fucking balanced. He can't have EVERY energy out there.

Gaserlake had a device that absorbed energy like a vacuum. While absorbing someone's movement/kinetic energy would be godmodding and wouldn't be a tactic I would use; he did multiple times.

I love it when I get chewed out for having something LESS cheap then your little butt buddy. Stop playing favorites; it's unprofessional.

I was not staff when Gaser requested that energy tech. He had it since GE. As for yours, just because you said "wouldn't be a tactic," makes no difference. We can't trust a members word that they won't use something to godmod when it has godmodding capabilities. Isn't that what you said when I made the TPF Orph? Anyways the fact is it makes you unattackable.

No it doesn't. And! A magister can't just absorb energy from your legs when you move, nor could they absorb a ships shielding if its in space and they're on the ground. That would require some sort of established energy link; they have to imprint energy to control it remember?

A Magister is very similar to the energy absorbing armor made by the Archive; they can be overloaded. Not to mention they can't just absorb a blast of energy if it hits them in the face. It would cause damage and kill them before they could absorb it.

..if I caught it then that means I took the necessary steps before hand to do so. Which doesn't make them overpowered. Not ever Magister is at the same level as Ararus or anything like that. Just like Sages not all of them are incredibly powerful.
