Territory Name:Devourer of Stars
Territory Description: A planet-sized lifeforms made of Metal. It flies throughout the universe to devour planets, but is benign towards other lifeforms elsewise unless roused.
Galaxy:If we have any 'Other' forum, these should prooooobably go there. They move.
Ownership:Unknown
Territory Name:Devourer of Life
Territory Description:Another planet-sized lifeform. This one attacks any source of life, whether carbon-based, silicon, nitrogen, whatever, in order to consume all life. Unlike its twin, it is very hostile.
Galaxy:Same as above
Ownership:Unknown
Probably should combine a couple 'tech' requests to this, given their odd nature. Explain more about them than a Planet description would.
Devourer of Stars:The Devourer of Stars is a planet-sized organism that spends its time roaming the galaxy, looking for stars, planets, and other such celestial bodies to consume. While it is fairly benign towards life it meets along its journeys, it will not care what occupies the planet or star its chosen to eat. While it IS obviously alive, it is composed primarily of hard metals like titanium alloys, and its carapace is made of the hardest of these alloys, protecting it quite nicely. While this is not widely(and by widely I mean pretty much at all) known, it and the Devourer of Life are actually constructed, living golems, and follow a base programming. The Devourer of Star's programming doesn't actually instruct it to take life into account unless it becomes a threat, which is why it almost universally ignores living creatures, even to the point that in the past, civilizations have existed before on its surface without it caring. As for things it DOES consider a threat, it and its twin golems are extremely powerful Mages, power as befitting their size. While a level 5 would be capable of going toe to toe with them, even those would have trouble due to the raw force combined with their attacks doing little damage(thanks to its carapace). Aside from magic, its entire body can be used as a weapon if need be. It has massive mandibles it normally keeps hidden(you can see them in the image), and its 'wings can function as blades if its moving fast enough. If all else fails, it stores a lot of excess materials which it can shape, creating more, miniature(comparatively) golems or making (usually temporary)additions to itself in order to better defend. As well, if someone tries to attack from within, it does posses a immune system and antibodies. Juuuuust be sure you know what your up against.
Appearance:Ignore the HUD and symbols and blah, this is a screenshot from a game. As well, ignore the planet back there, its actual size would BE a large planet.

This is because its programming was in order to collect life for raw materials, though even to those who know the golems' origin, it is unknown to what purpose it collects these materials. It stores the biological matter in that giant collection tank attached to its proboscis-like appendage. Over time, this fills with said biomatter, but once full the creature goes off to fulfill some other aspect of its programming, and the next time its seen its empty of all these materials. Like its twin, the Devourer of Life is a biological, living creature. However, this one appears to also be infrastructural and more mechanical in design, though again, it is entirely biological. It is primarily composed of metals, though of a weaker type than that making up the Devourer of Stars. In compensation, the Devourer of Life appears to have several biological shield generators built into it, that allow it to set up a protective force field. It does have its limits, of course, such as only being capable of being deployed on the outer side of the big 'umbrella' of the creature, though it is extremely powerful for a shield. Other than this, it too is a extremely powerful mate, and it possesses the same self-modification/helper-golem-creation capability that the Devourer of Stars has, making it quite adept at its job.
Appearance: Like the above one, this image is also a screenshot. Ignore the HUD and emblems and blah.

Both of them do have a intelligence encoded into, yet separate from, their programming. It is, however, largely minor and is mostly there to guide the golems in their tasks. However, because of this intelligence, they are capable of learning and adapting. They simply haven't had a good chance to, as yet. Despite this, their spells can be frighteningly complex. It is unknown how they're able to do this, though its usually chalked up to instinct.
Concerning their programming, it would be almost impossible to change it in order to take control of them. Even if this were done, there is a large chance that this 'hacking' would render the golems largely braindead, and almost entirely useless. Besides this, you'd need to know about the programming anyways in order to even try, of course.
Every now and again, both of the Golems seek each other out and interface with one another's programming. The reason for this is to repair the degradation of the programming in the other. Essentially, they seek each other out for maintenance purposes.
It is unknown who built them, or for what reason. Its thought that these people are extinct, but then, who'd be resupplying the Devourer of Life, or taking its biological materials(wherever it goes to drop them off)?
