I'm going to leave this up to the entire staff to decide but I don't even approve of planetary spirits as active characters, background NPCs but this is exactly why. Being a nation building RP planets are invaded constantly, and if we start letting them teleport THEMSELVES everywhere it's going to get fucking retarded.

Earth has a Spirit because DUH Mother Earth. They're not NPCs. Treena was approved as a character.
For teleporting in a single or two posts.. umm Kurai turned Dema into a marble in only 2 posts.

Invade all you want, however, Treena will not fight you, and will not "attack". Saving all life before the violence even starts... more like it. The only retard thing is, you trying to attack something that will flee. You are trying to tackle an abra as it were.

Also, all life survived. They are just kind of folded into the teleport by proximity.

she's not a directly active charter unless you attack or try something she wouldn't allow. otherwise you deal with the natives. Just because this is a nation building RP, doesn't mean you always have to attack to RP. Some of the best fun I had involved Fioa and lesbian romance.

She can teleport herself, you told me to just post, well I ah already done so, and honestly there is nothing to dispute. I gave you more than a fair chance to do something, two posts for a teleporting yourself is very generous in this RP.

Treena is I'm guessing a level five magic user? I doubt a level five magic user is capable of teleporting that much matter that quickly. She's still restricted to the same level of power as every character should be. :/

Yes.. but a lvl5 can teleport themselves. SURE she couldn't teleport another planet with her but she IS the planet. The planet is her.

It was a planet I owned and controlled.

And Earth is MORE than a planet that's owned and controlled it's Treena herself and controlled by her. At first it was not controlled by her, she was passive. But as more attackers happened and the K-Empire and others were er... cruel to nature, she became more active in its defense. She was developed like any other character.

The Earth is not alive; it has a spiritual presence. Just because that spirit is the spirit of said rock doesn't mean it has a powersize to match it. It's still a character and can only be as strong as a character. A level SIX can't even teleport a planet and SHOULDN'T be able to teleport a planet in two posts.

And I don't think you understand the concept of Planetary Spirits. When I made Treena (THE FIRST planet spirit thus I get to set what they can and can't do thank you very much.) It was saying the Earth had a spirit just as a person has a spirit. They can control their 'body'. I always envisioned if Treena DID fight and was not a pacifist, she could just punch you with the ground like it's her arm. Or the rain being her tears, the wind being her voice the...

The ONLY difference between her Spirit and a normal persons spirit is that if the earth is blown up she doesn't go to the after life or possess another planet. She's bound to that spot to haunt it foooorever.

How is it any different from a character? She's an approved character that was developed to the point she is. You're just seeing her as a planet, where she is the planet yes, but the planet is also her physical form.

And if so he didn't personify them or ever request them. I think Nisorin's is more on Tribal believe that there's a spirit in everything. (Pocahontas anyone?)

One little difference. A Planetary spirit can't use tech unless they somehow armor their planet but that's weird. They can't use ships. The magic they can use is limited to what affects THEMSELF or whats ON THEM not around them. Sure they're durable and can't be killed so easily. But at the same trade they aren't a threat to anyone.

You could have it influence and control it's magnetic field. Ripping a neighboring planet's iron from it's natives blood! If it's powerful enough to teleport trillions of tons of matter; that is a walk in the fucking park.

As I recall, Orga once did so(before you lost the Archive, if memory serves) to defend against a attack from K2. As for planetary spirits, er, yeah, they are a part of the RP, though I don't think every planet has one. And in the manner I mean, as living things(as a example, Elmora itself has been that way since I requested it, though it never was revealed or expanded until much later). Like anything nartural within its atmosphere(weather, plantlife, natural disasters) being just the planet itself moving, same as a human or what have you flexing its arm. I don't know about outside their atmosphere(and personally I think that should be beyond their ability to directly affect), but within their atmosphere yeah. Teleportation I wouldn't know about them being capable themselves, since I've never tried it myself, but its been done before by characters.
