I'm remedying this now.
First things first, staff vote/discussion on making Orph a moderator.
Second, staff vote/discussion on making Nis a staff member.
Third, any concerns the staff wish to voice please bring up now regardless of who it may upset or who they want to call out on anything. Even myself.
I'm coming up with some rule amendments i'd like to bring in which I will post in another topic.
Mmkay, go. If no one posts in this in a couple of days I will presume you are leaving it to my personal judgement as head admin.

The only thing I'd have against Orph becoming a mod is that we're modding him after he's asked. Most forums and even this one at times give you a penalty for asking and assure you don't get it. If there'd be a way to assure him he didn't get it because he asked...

As for Nisorin, I vote no. Blackcat and him have something planned. They're both trying to ralley up members and start something. Check Nisorin's post in Destruction... Make Nisorin a staff member and we might have a 'civil war,' between sides of staff and members as Blackcat so put it. At least right now. The war between BK/Nisorin/Zak/Nik vs Rest of the forum kinda needs to get quelled before making Nisorin staff.

...I'd like to bring up Backseat modding. Can we clarify it and put limits? I understand with wanting to help topics. But joining an argument just to join and argument and agree with the argument starter just for the principle of taking sides? Again, Blackcat, Zak, and Nik are doing this frequently.

Example being the Destruction topic. Orph says I stole characters. Instead of discussing it and trying to get to the bottom of it, Blackcat and Zak instead decide to just post that "if that's true, that's fucked up and Hikaru shouldn't get away with it" and then add a lot of more insults, flaming, and such without even any basis, trying to tell the staff what should be done about something they don't even know the story on...

Not just saying it's me either. There's been other topics they go into with two cents that isn't even needed. There's a large difference between helping because it's needed or stating a useful opinion and adding to the flame war with nothing to add but "I agree [insert bitching here]"

I absolutely refuse to let that self righteous, prick, Orph become staff again. Ever bloody time he comes back, yall give him staff again. Enough is enough. He needs to learn from his own mistakes before i change my mind about him.

Admittedly, I don't think we should mod Orph...Perhaps not yet, anyways. We need active staff members, but not counting his leaving I do believe there was a reason he was destaffed.

Nisorin is a different matter entirely. Personally I'd say he's trustworthy enough to be a part of the Staff, and would be active besides. Imma say I'll throw my vote for 'em(also I really don't think he's 'planning' anything, just observing where we're probably headed at the current rate).

As far as us being more active...That's something crucial we NEED to fix. And guys, really, its not a matter of being on 24/7. People can deal with that. But we ignore the requests when we actually ARE on. I'm guilty of this too, and I'm gonna try to get better if I can. But unless we stop making excuses about how we aren't always on nothings gonna get done.

As far as the Backseat Modding, I do kind of agree with you, Hik. However, we can't just expect them to be silent, nor do I think we should want them to. If they don't voice their opinions on issues, whether positive or not or even right or wrong, we wont know they have these issues or how prevalent they are. If we don't know about them...Well, we can't do anything about them, you know? An' if nothings done, it'll only get worse.

Personally I am not comfortable with whatever it is Nis and Logan are rightly planning, I really think that coming into staff is something that should be done with straight up intentions not underhanded agenda.

As for Nis its being debated as to wether he should be allowed on Staff with backhanded intentions.
Suggested rule for backseat modding:
If you feel there is a problem with a request or staff issue you are free to voice your opinion however if the staff or the topic creator ask you to cease your input you will.

We're not judging his abilities as an RPer, we're judging his abilities as a mod which so far have been good. He is good at Approving and pointing out flaws in shit, its what he does.
As for Logans words there, this is why I do not want him or Nis on staff. They're simply gonna come along and start fucking things up. We don't need a reform we need to fix the small current problems.

I'd rather Orph be staff honestly, mainly because he and I usually agree on stuff. Lyoko I know you're dead set against it but Hiro and Hik, remember Orph wasn't destaffed, he left. We've all left at sometime or another. And we're all guilty of over glorifying our characters in some way.
