Update + Change Log

Added new The Lounge category at the BOTTOM of the forum for various creative OOC ventures.
Moved Showdown to The Lounge, Made it a general RPing section.
Moved Creative Corner to The Lounge.
Moved Contests and Games to General Talk as a subforum.
Expanded Link Back and Introduce Yourself topics into full forums. Link Back is a subforum under General Talk, Introduce Yourself has its own section.
Consolidated Training [OOC] and Arena [OOC] to one section, Roleplay Planning [OOC].
Changed Category Names around.
Moved Lexicon to Archive; Nobody uses it.


Some upcoming changes to expect:
Reorganizing IC forums to make it less messy.
Fixing the Recent Topics box.
Changes to the event to make it more interesting.
Easier to understand info topics, resources for new and old members alike, a getting started tutorial.
A better selection of themes (hopefully).
Reorganizing the Archive, Request Graveyard, and Creative Corner.

Wouldn't it make a little more sense to move OOC stuff on the bottom of the board to the other OOC stuff at the top of the board? Just saying it's odd to have IC stuff in the middle.

Agreed. There's so few OOC sections and they're always so active, I think its better to have them at the top in entirety.

Also, random idea. I've always thought of putting planets in an order due to their proximity to one another, then I realized all the problems with that. Then I got to thinking, a map of SP?

....Idea. The map could be a Prezi. Sure we wouldn't have every planet and every star, but we'd get everything important.

I would love to make up a cinematic opening. I wont have any time until the summer though.

I have friends who are into film/studying it at university, the main problem is getting a script written and scheduling a date for filming any footage needed. But we have a lot of actors and actresses in our group.

Animation was what I was thinking about, but yeah. You also need to worry about costuming. And do some special effects. They're fun, and a lot is pretty easy.

Would do animating but SOMEONE (K2) never wrote up a trailer. You did for the OK but if it's to bring people in to SP I kinda need a script of it TO animate.

Okay then, 30 teaser trailer script!

Fade from black with a slow pan viewing earth, and suddenly see a small orangeish explsion on the surface spread.
By the time it is the size of Florida, South Carolina, or Korea it suddenly transitions.
10-20 half second snippets from action scenes across the forums history (eg, Jay going all light avatar on plex, Hikaru shooting a fireball, ect.)
the last snippet simply says Shattered Planes, and sticks for an extra few seconds.

Technically that wasn't the Anrufe, I believe that was the leader of...Russia at the time who launched the first missile. Then Orph made Legion who shot down everynukeevarlololol except for those shot by Russia. At the same time or something. -_- However, the Anrufe DID attack at the time, its just that it was a easily repelled asteroid.
