Narasan Atoros
« on: March 14, 2010, 09:05:54 PM »
Name: Narasan Atoros (Not a rip of Nisorin)
Age: 200 but looks to be mid twenties and physically fit.
Race: Tidean
Alliance: Sell Sword (Mercenary Army Commander)
Biography:   He is the son of a famous military commander of Tideans. When an assasin took down his father Kedalo dishonorably his mother decided that it was immediately time for her son to be taught how to protect himself and so she sent him away to military school where he was taught how to fight. Over the years his reputation grew and grew as did his skill with carious weapons. His reputation became so much that other armies wouldn't dare fight unless they first sent out scouts to make sure that he was not leading the army they had to go up against. Partially this was due to his father's training and the other part due to him always sending out a scout and rigging the battle field. He used propoganda and deceit to build up a big reputation in order that even when all seems lost he could still continue on as a threat to all sorts of enemies.

When his father was killed by an army hired by a Church Bishop on a different planet it was then that Narasan decided it was time to go to war.  He gathered up all the forces he could possibly gather from his army and plotted for months a secret attack against that Bishop and his forces. Finally though his strategy paid off and the Bishop and his forces became among the newly dead.  When the government learned about that they dispatched mercenaries in the form of 100 men to kill him. The 100 men were shot through a dozen times and dragged by donkeys back to the government, an insult. When the government learned of this they sort of gave up trying to wipe him out with a large group and sent smaller groups.

Feeling regretful later on for killing that Bishop instead of saving his father for  a while Narasan hung up the sword and gun for a while becoming a beggar. However when he learned of the tensions between the empires that now existed he decided to come out of retirement.  10,000 men might make the difference in a war and that is why he was prepared indeed.  He manipulated a lot of terrorist organizations in order to help spread his propoganda and in order to be viewed as a 'saviour' of worlds.  The government tried their best to end his propoganda but to no avail, it didn't succeed.  What happened then was that simply put there were no problems between him and the government because they feared him and his army after he bombed 50 of their military centers in one night.

He studied books of magic for 20 years while he planned his propoganda, deception and other strategies to make people fear him and wish to hire him at the same time. He wasn't going to be like his father who had been gunned down by a church army. He is very Anti Religious due to that Church Army's little kill his dad thing.  To that end he carries his father's LS Katana whenever he goes into battle as a reminder never for him to let those he loves be suckered.

Eventually Narasan took on a sub commander to help ease the burden of command so that he might one day retire.  Yet the sub commander too was shot down by the remnants of the church army. When he learned of it, he swore war on them.  Going alone this time he murdered every last one of them except for their women and kids.  He is gentle with women and kids despite his murderous instincts.  He owns the tome of Negion and the tome of Retribution currently.

He has spent the last 30 years training his magical and other abilities to the peak of perfection for a Tidean. His style is more of a shoot them fast, go in slash them up for the kill sort of style and to that end he fights only using that style.

Weapons:   8 Gauge Shot Gun retrofitted to fire laser ammunition instead of bullets.  Laser Katana modeled after a lightsaber he found and a katana his father Kedalo gave him, in reality it is a combination of the two that he wields.  Various types of grenades and arrows.  Long Bow.

Equipment: Data Pad, tome of Negion, Tome of Retribution.
Magic Level: 5
Force Level:   0
Appearance:    http://gourmandhast.deviantart.com/art/Omni-Tek-Soldier-26881716 He looks like this except for the armor being black. He also is lacking the weapons shown in the picture and gains the one mentioned above on his profile.

Has a big reputation, help win wars by making the enemy fear him, yet only a lvl 3? The way you use characters lessen the likeliness...

He is only a level 3 because I didn't wish to go overboard. The reason I am making this particular one is to serve as a rival to the Archive and to the Aralangs indirectly.

And you honestly think the Aralangs or Archive will hold back at all in killing him? If anything, his reputation will garner more trouble than peace. The more well known you are, the bigger an assassination target you are. And I love how you had to specifically note that you weren't copying me, that only makes me think you have a guilty conscience.

I have to agree with K2323. One man with as weak magic as Narasan is nowhere near enough to cause an entire army to run away with their tails between their legs. One of my two empires learn they're fighting against him, they're gonna be more likely to try harder against him than to run away. Now, if he used methods such as propaganda, scare-tactics, manipulation of terrorist organizations, and other similar tactics, it's slightly slightly possible.

Lastly, a level 3 mage would not be able to 'create' a son. Simply not powerful enough to perform such an incredibly complex feat. Even level fours able to do it would have to be construct specialists, and even then it would take months and months, and a ridiculous amount of energy.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

Were the Tideans ever even approved?

Yes they were but their empire was not. Check the race listing Nisorin, it is all legitimate and he is ready to be approved.

That damn clone.

And, it may be in your timezone. But it's only near 10 here. I won't approve it until it turns 12 here.

Next time, use quote tags to separate the part you're quoting from the person. To do so, use the following code:
