Tournament Delay Idea

So since K2 is busy to the point he's stalling things AGAIN. And we need to give the members that aren't busy something to do, we need to either delay the tournament by crashing it temporarily or have someone else RP it in his absence.

My idea is this... Since back when we had the first Excel Tournament we also had the "Alignment Event" were the dimensional plane lost magic for three days, we have it again. This would make the tournament pointless due to no magic to battle with and would let people RP until we can get back to the tournament. I can come up with a reason why it's taking longer than usual and what exactly it is. (Perhaps some thing to do with existence every something years that causes magic existence to cease and conversion to be suppressed for a short time.)

The only BAD THING this would leave magic empires completely defenseless for the entire time. So Orph with his damn Magisters might try to wipe us all out.

However it would make the most sense to use that to delay the tournament than any attack because it already happened at the last tournament.

Eh, this happened the last Excel Tourney? Is there a reason its just coincidentally happening on the second?

Before it was described as happening every something years as a natural occurrence. Basically it's a natural AM field every something years. (Like you have solstices and eclipses)

Nono, I can get that much. What I meant is, such a event would be exceptionally rare, probably once ever x-thousand generations or something. What are the chances that both Excel Tourneys happen at a point where this occurs(which, by all means, I'm doubtful that they'd have planned)?

I dunno. If K2 logs on maybe he could possibly set it up to where he did it on purpose in the spirit of the original? And it wasn't that rare....
