Seraphim:

Backstory:

Every generation of Vionix that are born over all three worlds there is always a smattering of extremely rare Vionix known as the Seraphim. These Vionix are recognised by the fact that they are born blind, deaf and mute at first while their biomechanics are always visible and are always white. As these Vionix age however they start to exhibit signs of having the Biomechanical abilities of both Male and Female Vionix, they always gain their sight back at age 5, hearing at age 7 and voices at age 11, that is when they are taken from their families to go through training to become the elite ops of the Vionix Empire, unknown and yet feared by all. Every generation about 12-20 Seraphim are born and raised, even at their younger ages they show marked increases over normal Vionix and seem to have a slight spatial awareness around them, able to detect things and people while being blind and deaf.

When the Seraphim are taken from their family they are tested rigorously to prove that they are ready, usually most are and only one or two are removed from Project Celestian, the training program that all Seraphim are put through, it teaches them how to work together and puts them all in teams of two, forcing them to rely on the other to win the matches and games they are put through by the commanding officers, at least one of them being a Seraphim and Ex-Celestian. They live, train, sleep and eat with their partner, only allowed to communicate with them and most if not all pairs form their own code languages with one another, to make sure that only they know what they're talking about.

The entire training program is ten years long, they are usually sent on missions during the training though to make sure they are ready and in the end up they are given their armour and an officer's rank before going out and doing missions to preserve the security and peace of the Vionix Empire, it is about 5 years in though that they are put through are connected to their partner with a J.O.I.N to make sure that they work together well and are able to do anything that they are required to. Seraphim are extremely deadly and Celestians, the finished product, are even more so because of their armour and training.

The differences between a Seraphim and a Vionix:

Looks Wise: Seraphim are recognizable by the fact that their eyes glow a bright white rather than having any form of pupil, they are not blind however and are able to see. Their Biomechanics glow bright white and never change colour whatsoever, they are also always visible and never disappear. They always seem to have golden or platinum coloured hair and pale skin. All in all they are extremely noticeable both in or out of their armour.

Body Wise: The Seraphim show the miraculous ability to have the strengths of both Male and Female Vionix, making them incredibly strong and tough while also being incredibly fast and able to dodge a bullet with their reflexes. They also have the enhanced eye sight that female Vionix have. On top of that they are able "split" their mind, putting something like their emotions or pain into one conscience while they put their body into the other to fight without fear of pain. Usually they are only able to split their mind into two but there are a few advanced Celestians who are able to split their mind into three and one who is able to split his mind into four. This also allows for higher tactical thinking and greater overview of a fight, as well as being able to mull over a plan and talk about it with yourself rather than with others.

What makes a Seraphim, a Celestian:

The Celestians wear a specialist type of armour known as Archangel Plate, it looks like medieval plate mail with a specific colour of cowl and plate, the range whatever is wanted by the specific Celestian. This plate however has built in kinetic and energy dampeners to counter-act any weapons used on them, it also highly increases the strength and speed of the Celestian who is wearing it. The energy like construct on the back (In the picture) is a powerful reactor built into the suit. Upon the back of the suit there is also energy focusing arrays and energy barriers to turn excess run off energy from the suit into a pair of massive wings on the back of the suit, these wings become solid constructions of energy but do not allow the Celestian to fly, instead they are used more to "hop" long distances with a single flap, they can also be used to block simple weapons and attacks. In the palms of the suits there is also Anti-Magic generators built in, allowing them to block any hostile magic with a single swing of their hands, this also stops them from using any form of magic if they ever some how find out how to.

Weaponry: All Celestians wield a specialist Wavering weapon of any type they so choose, it is usually personally inscribed with whatever the wielder so wished to put on the weapon and each is a relic in their own rights. The Celestians are trained how to use the wavering weapons perfectly and they are a force to be reckoned with when it gets pulled out in combat. The Celestians are also capable of using Vionix heavy weapons on their own, mounting the weapon on their shoulders to lay down heavy firepower, they also have specialist guns of their own.

Seraphim Bolt Cannon:



The Bolt Cannon is a long range, semi automatic rifle used exclusively by the Seraphim for a reason. The recoil from the rifle is enough to break a Female Vionix's shoulder but excellent eye sight is needed to properly use the scope which a Male Vionix doesn't have, hence why Seraphim can use them. The rifle itself works by firing meter long bolts of metal between a pair of magnets at just over mach 7, the chunk of metal hitting it's target with enough kinetic force to kill them like that but the bolts then detonate as well to bring down armoured targets or tanks. The downside to this weapon is that only Seraphim may use them, they only have five rounds per magazine and they take a couple of seconds to charge up (two posts) once they charge up though, it's almost impossible to dodge or survive a shot from them.

Seraphim Ion Rifle:



The Ion Rifle is a specialist weapon and rather hard to produce which means that it is used specifically for the Celestians to reduce the manufacturing costs by reducing the amount to be produced. These weapons are small, looking more like sub machine guns rather than rifles but they pack enough punch to bring down entire squads of enemies in but a few shots, these weapons can also melt tank plate and after a few shots in the same spot they can burn through it and kill the crew. These weapons do not fire in shots but rather in slightly sustained beams, the beams only last for around a second but that is enough time for a Celestian to swipe them to the side to hack through several people with one shot. These weapon's power packs hold enough energy for twenty shots before a reload is required.

Seraphim Ripper Cannon:



The Ripper Cannon is once again useable by Seraphim only, the recoil powerful enough to tear even a Male Vionix's arm off with a shot. The weapon fires the eqivalent of a 40mm round with every shot, the normal round capable of making humans explode with a single shot to the chest, it is also able to be loaded with explosive rounds, incendiary rounds and flare shots. The weapon holds clips of seven rounds, each one capable of killing two individuals by tearing through the first and hitting the second. These weapons are also capable of denting tanks and bringing down light vehicles.

Ion Grenades:



The Vionix Ion grenade is the standard issue grenade for all Vionix soldiers, it has a 4 second fuse and when thrown it gives off a pale pink light that isn't too noticeable during the day or in medium to high light levels but is very noticeable during the night or in no or low light levels. When the grenade detonates it detonates in a bright pink orb that burns and melts most of what it hits, it is brutally effective against infantry and light vehicles but has almost no use against heavy vehicles or tanks, the explosion isn't powerful enough to melt through the thicker armour plates.

Focused Ion Bombs:



Focused Ion Bombs are ramped up Ion grenades that have a sticky side used to pin them to walls or the side of tanks, they have a much reduced blast radius from the Ion Grenades but the power they give out is much, much greater, allowing them to burn their way through tanks with ease, it is just the problem of getting close enough to utilise the grenades with their lowered blast radius. These grenades are usually carried by Celestians and officers to use against tanks, if a tank takes one of these to the side then it will hurt... a lot.
