You come out of orbit and attack for no reason whatsoever without even having a warring race. That's metagaming, at least have a damn IC reason to attack people. ALSO your FTL tech HAS NOT been approved yet until you can fix the distance and dimensional issues.

There are a lot of different ways to get around the universe; the Magistracy is highly imperial and conquers other empires at whim. Maybe you should read up on something before you try to make decision about it.

If they're imperial, then they would have attempted to negotiate a vassalization of it rather than immediate attack. :/

Imperial as in they want land and power, but vassals are only considered if they prove themselves worthy. (pose a challenge) Otherwise they're just absorbed eventually as the Magistracy takes every bit of land they have.

Hik...It IS a RP, but its also a Nation Builder. Attacking places is a core part of the game. And if your getting on Orph for attacking the place without reason...How about half the places the Wayward Marid have attacked? They didn't have any prior contact with the Pirates nor the Lorcar, and he never said anything concerning finding them(For the record, Cap's admitted to using a Dice Roller to choose his attacks). People on this RP attack each other all the time without even knowing the name of their enemy(Or they do when the board is active, anyways). Just because he's attacking doesn't make it metagaming.

Cap had it IC that his empire would choose randomly. PLUS he was going in a line throughout the same Galaxy with a race that does nothing but conquer, though I did get on his case about it several times.

Whereas ORPH here picks a random race and say he's doing it for the planet. Why their planet? Why wipe them out? Why attack them of all people? It IS metagaming to go attack someone just to start something when you don't have an IC reason. ESPECIALLY when you don't even have a damn empire request to show whether they would do such or not.

Planet - Land and minerals; last I checked people need a place to stay to you know..live. Being a inter-galactic empire they'd need a fucking SHIT TON of resources just to keep up with their daily life. Why would I keep a sentient and potentially threatening species around when I have the ability to exterminate them; it's the same concept of us killing of annoying animals.
Technology - Another nail in your "no IC reason" is the acquisition of alien technology and therefore knowledge, and the Magisters LOVE technology and are pursers of knowledge in every form. They'd kill for it as well.

You attacked a planet that your empire didn't even know was there, randomy, without IC reason. Metagaming is also done if only the roleplayer has a reason and not the character themselves.
