Is it okay to request a character from someone else's race that is not on this forum?

By this I mean adoptables. I adopted several creatures from a few people and those actively watching my DA would know the writing's on the wall.

I had an OK for using my adopted creatures from Ninja-Prius as long as I give her credit, and I've yet to ask S1LV3RDO6,Policide, and TheDragonAlchemist if I could use my characters from their races.

Races/Characters:
Atonium by Ouiatochouan
Toulyai by S1LV3RDO6
Balisks by TheDragonAlchemist
Ichthila by Policide
Ilodia by Ninja-Prius
AoSaai by Ninja-Prius
Experiment by Ninja-Prius
Experiment by Ninja-Prius*


*The last one was Zacracken's creature. But he ended all interest in sparkle creatures. So I adopted him and I've yet to make a new look for this little guy. Colossus <3

I think they'll say know due to strictened rules on continuities. You could use the pictures and basic concepts though as long as you made them your own.

If these races/characters are not copyrighted, yes, given that you receive prior permission from the owners.
