Bring on the Thunder

The Vionix had always been launching probes through hyperspace, trying to find things of use and certain other interesting phenomenon, the find of a strange quasistar greatly interested them but they were worried about the implications and as such they decided to save its location and continue looking. Upon sending probes into yet another region of space, they found what appeared to be a ship graveyard with ships they had never encountered and that meant technology they had never had a chance to lay a hand on, this was too good a proposition to just ignore so the Vionix fleet buckled itself up and rolled out.

The only thing that would have shown the arrival of the Vionix fleet apart from just the sight of the rather large fleet of ships was the slight wavering of space they had left behind them. They had amplified their Displacer Barriers to catch any transmissions of energy they gave off and went dark, they couldn't run like this for too long though but they didn't have to as they slowly and cautiously picked their way around all the debris, they knew they had a target to bring down before they could even begin to search these wreckages.

Shimmering Dawn wasn't present for this conflict so a Scythe had taken command of this excursion and already had all weapons locked and loaded as they rounded the hull of a rather large ship that appeared to be a titan and came into view of the ship they were thinking of scavenging from, it was a large ship, a Titan but it was too far gone to repair, instead they were going to strip it of all weapons, reactor cores and shielding nodes to take back. The Scythe commanding and a trio of frigates crept forwards towards it, small bots being launched from them to start a survey and search of all the technology aboard the ship before they started to take it apart.

The rest of the fleet which consisted of two more scythes and a large amount of Frigates and Corvettes were all stationed in a circle around the Titan, sending out scanning pulses to check for a strange, organic being the probes had detected, they hoped that the being didn't notice them whilst they were salvaging the technology from the ship but as always, luck never seemed to be on their side.

Lucky for them, the Levithan creature seemed to be incapable of defending the ship graveyard due to the lack of magic. However; the Anrufe still considered Sovereign a territory of theirs, and while they only had an outpost at the graveyard, it was automated with defenses that would protect them.

While these ships were all distracted by the titan, they wouldn't notice the approach of a huge wall of metal, hurling towards them. And then, from another direction, another wall was shooting forth. All around them, metal walls were shooting off, slowly surrounding them, the metal planks linking together -- effectively, they were being boxed into a metal box, along with the titan.

The Leviathan may of not had magic, but it was still a world sized thing that was powered by a nuclear reactor of a heart. Yeah; that's right. It's heart is an organic version of a nuclear reactor. As nothing that sized could be powered by chemical reactions like a human, and it was very efficient. It only really had to eat every few months, but this particular beast had grown accustom to it's feeding grounds. Scavengers piled up and the remains of that war was large enough to feed him for centuries. He ate everyday now and his heart was always pumping out an enormous amount of power. Giovanni attacked the newly arriving scavengers with a beam of thermal energy fired from his massive maw.
