The Hand of Judgement [OOC]

Alright, I really wanted to kind of make a Roleplay about my lovely Intelligence Agency, the Zarethian Hand, and have it be like a Semi-Canon thing. We'd work on a smaller scale than on the regular Shattered Planes, and in a more limited environment. It would almost be like writing about pasts experiences with the Hand, while it follows the lives of Hand Agents, and other Zarethians. The year is about late 2053 to early 2054.

Personality- She may look sweet, and normally, she will act sweet, but professionally, she can and, if she must, will bite your head off. She is a very aggressive woman who works hard to get the job done. She is never scared to get a little dirt under her nails if she has to. Don't let that fool you, though, she is a very lovely, lady-like woman at the end of the day.
Brief Biography-
Former military, trained to be a gunslinger by her dad. After she finished military she worked tactical as a civilian in the military, before joining the civilian government workforce. Has finally got her break, newly appointed member of the Internal Inner-Agency Affairs Department, a newly formed department by the council in the wake of the Eric Mann fiasco.

Her job is to investigate the Hand and report to her superiors about it's crime. She has been invested by the Senate the right to ask questions of various members of this department and carry out her investigation, giving her access to classified material. Her jurisdiction extends as far as she feels necessary to get the job done, but she does not have the right to get involved in tactical decisions of the Hand.

Personality- Stoic and astonishingly oblivious to sarcasm, Kevin is nevertheless extremely good at his job - which is, frankly, anything to do with computers. He scans operation zones, tracks personel and targets and even provides hacking support for the Special Defense Division and Zarethian Intelligence Agency. 
Brief Biography- Kevin was born on the ZNS Honour Bound and lived there for the most part of his life. He was instantly recognized as a technical savant when he entered the shipboard academy.After he graduated the academy, he worked with the crew of the Honour Bound for Marine Operations Support. After the Homecoming, he began work with the Hand.

Name- Eric Mann

Personality- Eric Mann is, to put it simply, a very tricky bastard. He appears to be an all around guy, and the public seem to love him. He has spent years building up his image as an image of the Zarethian way of life. It appears that he is a very patriotic man with nothing but good in his heart, a rarity for politicians. He tries to subtly show the people this.. To show them that he represents a change in ways -- for the better.

In reality, he couldn't be more dangerous. He manipulates the people and the government by social engineering them into thinking he wants to help. He uses this to his advantage. He is very cunning -- almost like a master-mind.

Brief Biography-

Eric Mann was born aboard the Korik starship of the Zarethian fleet to a loving mother and father. His father was captain of the Korik, a civilian ship. From early on in his age, Eric learned how to fly his starship.. But when he was fourteen years old, something tragic happened. Narrikian pirates -supposedly- boarded Korik, kidnapping his father and mother, and killing the rest of the crew. Unknown to all but Eric, the crew that kidnapped his parents weren't Narrikian Pirates at all, but his older brother, extracting his parents, as the three were involved in a plot to overthrow the Zarethian government. At his young age, Eric was not aware of this.

Eric barely survived by hiding under a table in his father's quarters. He alone flew the Korik to catch up with the rest of the fleet and tell them what had happened. The Korik was abandoned, and Eric was taken in on-board the Vakcree, raised by the ship. The fourteen year old never got over his mother and father's kidnapping, and joined the military at a young age.

Eric passed from the academy at the age of twenty, going on to become a captain aboard the Oricc by the time he was twenty four. On the Oricc, Eric piloted skillfully, showing off his skills to various higher-ups. They chose him to be a part of an early attempt to find land for the people to settle in permanently. Eric left his post on the Oricc at age twenty five to join up with the Horic'rauman fighter fleet which took off looking for land.

They searched for about a year and came up empty. They eventually found their way back to the fleet, and were reassigned. Eric, now twenty six, was given command over a small off branch of the academy aboard the starship Vakcree, once his home. He trained several soldiers aboard the Vakcree before it was decommissioned due to age.. It was then that Eric started to consider retirement.

Eric Mann went back to the Oricc to live. Shortly after his arrival on the Oricc, the ship entered FTL without fleet permission or any communication. It came back three months later, with Eric the only survivor left aboard. He claimed that they had been abducted by Lorcar.. He was lying. Nobody ever found out. In reality, his brother had found him, and brought him to the base of the rebel Zarethian organization, catching him up to speed, and brainwashing him into joining the cause.

Oddly enough, soon after that, Eric Mann met with the Zarethian council. He was part of a team of some twenty men and women who helped organize the Zarethian Hand. He was first assigned the role as Chief of Tactics, and has since been promoted to Assistant Director. He is perhaps the only one aware that, throughout the Zarethian Hand, there are various moles serving the rebel Zarethian plot. Eric is devoted to covertly taking the government by storm, and to do that, he's set his sight on the role of Director of the Zarethian Hand... But he'll have to get rid of the current Director first.
