There will be more than this, but to start this off, here's something I drew a few days ago, but sloppily (just to show) colored tonight. I'll line-art it and actually shade it some other time..

Or Present on left, past on right. Doesn't matter since Ingrounded!Hikaru is the past Hikaru in a way, or at least still looks like she did.
Only changes are basically her hair grew out more and longer, and she changed outfits.

And just because I was bored....

Going along with the other one ( http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=478511075015 ) and just to show how it even got there, here is the evolution of Hikaru's hair.

The first one is her very first hairstyle which I based around my own at the time, but as she became more of her own character I decided to change it to make it less cliche' like so many other anime characters (Sasuke much?).

So then we have the SECOND one which I dunno wtf I was doing. I tried to keep the first one but modify it a bit with more spikes and more flame/phoenix-like and... as yuo can see it was waaay too complicated to try to keep with. Basically it was longer bangs in front that spike backwards over the ears, yet shorter towards mid of the face, with spiky in the back to stay away from Sasuke style. Despite it's overly complicatedness. I TRIED to stick with it until that last 9th picture, the final one. K2 mistaked her for a guy and that was the end of that hairst
yle.

So the third one as you can see was an accident... I drew that thing there on my desk (yeah I doodled on my desk) and loved how it looked so much but sadly had to erase it that I decided to mix that with her current hairstyle and try to get an equal one. Mostly the back hair curving around the shoulders look. So for the first picture I just did exactly as the picture was and tried to keep the centered bangs or so they looked. But as the original one was so badly quality (it was on a desk what do you expect?) it was hard to copy.

So the many pictures you see are my attempts at playing with it. Keeping it short, keeping it parted in the middle, lengthening the strands, deciding how many spikes.... It wasn't till those last two pictures 6 and 7 that I was like "fuck it! this is too complicated" that I gave up on that hairstyle.

The final one I tried to chibi her with the third hairstyle and failed totally but LOVED the result that I decided to make that her FINAL hairstyle.

and that concludes the evolution of Hikaru's hair.... Maybe someday I will conclude the evolution of her eye-style *still experimenting*

I am so overusing the chibi, but until I draw a reference sheet, this is the best I can do to diagram things. So yeah, OUTFITS!

1. Her usual outfit she's stuck with since the OK that she sadly ... lost when arrested.

2. Prison outfit... Gaser said it was orange and left me up to design, I hate jumpsuits, so yeaaaah. He also said the beacon bracelet was just plain black metal before, so there ya go.

3. Prison outfit from when she escaped and turned it black for lack of better clothes, and materialized a new cloak. ...Stolen when she submitted to the SF and got put back in #2.

4. Lyoko needs to tell me the design of this before I can draw it, but the dress she 'borrowed' from Tepper and *smirk* modified. LYOKO TELL ME THE DESIGN DAMMIT.

5. The outfit she used magic to materialize before she left to finish her matches in the Plex tournament that had become her new favorite outfit. The loss of this is the fault of K2 and Lyoko >.>

6. Lyoko also needs to tell me the design of this, but that stupid robe she was forced into recently, LYOKO GIVE ME THE DESIGN OF THIS TOO.

7. ? Whatever she changes to when this entire mess is over, I'm thinking I'll create a new outfit just to not be so... stale.

ALSO as I pointed out, as Sages control their aging through magic, so does a Phoenix control ANY aging aspect including hair, nail, etc growth. Without magic, any features normally grow will do so, so throughout the many captures where Hikaru was forced without magic, her hair started to grow longer near the bottom.

Now with this very LONG time without magic, The eclipse, losing her Soul.... etc. It's gonna have grown even longer, as well as grown from the roots as well. So eh.
