Appearance: Exsterno's favourite form is of a black form of liquid/gas. He looks like gas but flows around and over others and the ground like a strange type of living liquid. The liquid however can take on a humanoid form, still looking liquid with black gas flowing off of it and having midnight black eyes that shimmer in the light and have a strange type of intelligence and almost permanent knowledge in them.
The other thing that Exsterno has a horrible habit of doing is turning into one's worst fear which he knows just from looking at someone and he usually morphs his form to look like it and then get right into their business for he revels in their fear and loathing. He usually keeps colours away from his form however and stays pure black with the occasional dark purple or red surfacing to only vanish once more after a second or two.

Personality: Exsterno is a cold and malicious life form but he hides it extremely well under a facade of fake helpfulness and seeming hospitality. Fear loves to trick and deceive others and to instigate bad events such as wars or riots just through hushed whispers in the right ears and gentle coercion through the use of fear to get them to do what he wishes and delve them further into their fears. He usually stays hidden and whispers quietly into other's minds as though he was their own inner voice and tries to force them to do as he wishes and he usually does a good job at that. One other thing about Fear is that he has no sense of personal space and loves to flow around another's form to talk to them, running fingers of darkness across their jaw almost sensually while whispering in their ear to pull them over to his side and fulfill his wishes.

Character's History: ~Hushed Whispers~
Fear always was and will be, he was created by the Perfect and he was designed to create the mortal plane. Upon the creation of living races he felt a strange emotion, it could almost be happiness but it was more ecstasy that he was able to fill life with his own purpose. He was evil compared to the others and he reveled in what he could do as he filled the life forms with the fear of death, the fear of the unknown even more the fear of him for he was fear itself. They would learn or they would die because fear not only weakened but it made strong and Exsterno was happy as he learned that some were strong enough to beat his concept but all fell under his hushed whispers as he coiled his form around them and made them do his bidding and force them into servitude.
~Tug the Puppet's Strings~
Upon the Embodiment's war against the Guardians, Fear was both a help and a hindrance. He would act a spy and intelligence gatherer and report back to the Embodiments but at the same time, he wasn't hiding himself from the Guardians, he was giving them both intelligence although most of it was false and he stayed back, letting most of it play out before he went back in, whispering and coercing people into the right direction. His direction however was the end of the other Embodiments, if they didn't exist then he would have free reign over the mortal plane and laugh as he was able to work his charms towards pure fear over the dimension but alas, his plans were in vain and they crumbled to dust around him, he wasn't unhappy though. To Fear this was just a set back and he would have his goals soon enough.
~Stir the Cauldron~
Exsterno gained more hope when he learned that Embodiments were going to release the greatest weapon and he helped those who would activate the weapon at first. He helped them along with their plan until the thing was activated and then he moved to his previous state of helping both, moving the strings of fear to make the event even more likely to succeed. He helped those who were fighting the weapon to run into ambushes, most failed however but Fear could wait, he had done so long enough and he could do so for longer. Once again however his plans were all for naught! This time he was annoyed and decided he would bide his time, waiting and watching the embodiments while causing strife and wars as best he could.
~The Wait~
For now Fear was content to just wait for the Embodiments to do something stupid once more, he would coerce and move them towards his ultimate goal as he always would try to but he knew that he was viewed with suspicion despite the fact that none had caught his double-crossing during the Embodiment Civil War and his repeated attempts to get the Embodiments killed or put under his command. Exsterno was almost beginning to worry and that wasn't good at all, he couldn't be found out, not while he was no where near finishing his plan. That was the main reason he now waited and interfered with mortal plans and fears, he was removing suspicion from himself.
