Hiro's ship was contacted specifically. Somehow, somebody knew exactly where they were at, and had some pretty good details on who the Mercs were. The message was sent in text, and read:
Greetings Hiro's Mercenaries Incorporated:
My name is Veritas G. I am a businessman on a place called Pleasure Planet. I am expanding my business all over the universe, and due to the nature of my work may end up in some dangerous areas. Your reputation is excellent, and you seem to have traveled all over the universe. I am looking for a squad of bodyguards, numbers ranging from two (2) to four (4) competent agents. Your duties will range from standard bodyguard duty, to guarding cargo, escorting me on business meetings, and playing "field guide" on unfamiliar worlds. Desire agents proficient in magical arts, though I will accept non-magical agents if they are good at what they do.
Before you assume you will be babysitting; I can take care of myself but would like a skilled crew like you watching my six. Here are the specific contract terms:
Services will be rented on a monthly basis at a flat rate of 10,000 credits a month for full crew, or 2,000-4,000 per agent. (Negotiable.)
If you are used at any time during the month, no matter how little or much, you will received the same flat payment. (Non-negotiable)
I cannot guarantee days off, but will do my best to give you some depending on how hard I work you. (Non-negotiable)
Your duties are whatever you are ordered to do. I consider myself a moral person, but my line of work may result in some... Less than desirable conditions. (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
By accepting this contract, you must also sign an information and liability waiver. And thing that you witness on the job is to be kept silence. I do not accept loose ends or leaks in my line of work.
For the last one, the only reason you are receiving this contract is because I doubt that will become an issue.
