The Dark Heart appeared out of FTL nearby the planet. The method used was excessively rare these days, what with the manufacturing faction no longer being around anymore. Back when they were still among the major players, though...The Archive paid very, very well. More than a few individuals had indeed come to them intending to purchase or steal the blueprints and schematics, but out of upholding their contract and loyalty to their old employers, they've refused and fought off(or when the situation demanded it, fled from) every one.
On board the Dark Heart, Flora used their Com systems to hail the landing zones, awaiting permission to land on the 'planet' itself. They were mercenaries, but they weren't just going to head for a landing zone and park or anything, that'd make the lives of several space traffic control techs very difficult, and there's no need to get in a big fight with anyone. Besides, there might be a special landing zone readied for them or something, who knows.

The Dark Heart received and archived the other contract sent for them, though for obvious reasons they were unable to act upon it quite just yet. For now, the Mercs went for the docking port and landed their ship. Once that was finished, the Mercs disembarked from their vessel, and while most of them headed for the amenities of the area they were at(it WAS called Pleasure Planet after all...), five of them stayed together to go meet their employer. Hiro, Sara, Jessie, Anise, and Seth. The group made their way to a transit service, heading as fast as they could to their employers address on Aperture Lane.

Some men stood on the street corner shouting about "Instant Transport". Several people had gone to them and been teleported away. These men were called Spoofs, they were sort of like cab drivers on Pleasure Planet. They had a wide knowledge of the area and could teleport people just about anywhere they needed to go. For a small fee, of course.

OOC:Er, K2...Didn't Fort Cloud used to be a Narrikian installation, school or somesuch before you took it? If thats they case they WOULD be aware of it, if not its present name.

The five were a odd group, of course-Hiro himself wore partial armor and had his signiture weapon(and friend) strapped to his back. It wouldn't be a extreme surprise if most were scared off by him alone(though, that doesn't even take into account Sara, with her lance or Seth with his medieval helmet visor, let alone any armoring they may have been wearing). Still, surely there'd be at least one teleporter guy not completely terrified away by the group of armed people headed for them. Probably. Aaand when the group found him/her, they would probably get quite the hefty tip.

OOC: Considering it's now for all intensive purposes a giant sun, I reaaally doubt they'd know that the Anrufe is not only still there, but that they have a base there.

...The Spoofs barely batted an eye. Pleasure Planet had a lot of strange types rolling through, and lot of soldier types too. There wasn't much from the tech OR magic side that could surprise them. The nearest Spoof called out to them.

"Cheap? You might be some form of Psion my good man, for you were reading my mind!" Seth turning towards the man midstride as he simply started walking in that direction. Hiro and Sara shrugged, and led the group to the guy, giving him the Aperture Lane address that I cant remember fully((nor copy and paste, given that my phone doesn't let me do so ><)) to teleport them to.

"Why aren't I surprised?" The Spoof checked his watch.
"Smart plan. Get into the Gunnar Club before the line gets long, and then stay for the party eh?" He said with a smirk. Before they had time to ask what he meant, he shouted,
"GOING UP!" And snapped his fingers. They all vanished...

...And appeared in front of a very large building. On the outside it wasn't anything fancy, but the signs were a little... Curious. They advertised,
"GUNNAR CLUB! Universes first night club and gun shop! Open carry gets in FREE!"

There was next to no line for the club as it was about noon by Pleasure Planet standards. Two bouncers, or, more aptly, armed guard guarded the front. They had two large plasma pistols on each hip, and stared at the group from behind expensive sunglasses.

Seth looked around at the change, slightly disoriented from the shift in location(he always got slight teleporting-sickness. He was also pretty sure that wasn't even a thing you could get). Shrugging it off in any case, he said to the Spoof,"Not bad, a smoother teleport than Im usually used to anyways. How much do I owe ya for?"
As Seth made to pay their ride over, Hiro and Sara walked to the guards. "Hello, my good sirs, me and my associates have a appointment with a mister Veritas G, I believe. May we be allowed through?"

One of them glanced quickly at his Nova Tablet.
"I assume you're Hiro Mercs Incorporated? Boss is on the top floor. Just take the elevator to the top." They nodded good naturedly and opened the door. One winked as they walked in,
"We're mercs too. He pays good."

The spoof charged them 15 credits, and started walking around to look for more customers. As they entered the room they found themselves swept up in an insane club. It was mostly empty, a couple day drinkers at the bar. It was like and old fashioned ball room but with more lights and... Guns. Weapons covered the walls as decorations and ornaments. On the balconies above the dancefloor, some heavy mounted machine guns were set up.

And the sign wasn't kidding. On the second floor was an enormous gun shop, with plasma and pulse guns covering the walls. They saw all this from a transparent elevator that took them to the 5th floor.

Seth gave the Spoof a extra 30 as a tip, mostly as thanks for him being a good teleporter, Seth being quite able to afford it, and really yeah thats probably adhering to their claims of cheapest group teleports around but c'mon kid thats barely any money made here's a bit extra so you can get something nice for you girl eh? Meanwhile as Hiro went on in he grinned, saying,"Good to see fellow fortune-finders out and about. Here's to hoping we'll work together."
Jessie whistled as the red and black flower in her hair opened further and appeared to 'face' the shop level of the club. "I know where I'll be when the meeting's done..." She said, eying some of the merchandise on display and thinking of what they might be hiding in the backrooms, maybe. Anise, her voice barely above a whisper and still keeping the same static expression on her face, said,"Invite Samantha if you do. She may appriciate the chance for a new sniping rifle."
Seth grinned, adding,"Psh, yeah, plus any opportunity to not have to help Johnny keep Kiera off him."
At the top floor, Hiro and Sara exited first, followed by the other three. They made their way to the room at the end of the hall(assuming the Elevator didn't open into the Boss' room proper, if so ignore that), and entered the room itself. "Hi there, Mr. G I presume?"

The man, who was facing the window, turned to greet them.
"Ah, you must be Hiro's. You came earlier then I had hoped. Welcome to Pleasure Planet." He said sincerely, reaching out to shake hands. He was a tall man with a silently imposing demeanor, but his smile looked innocent enough. He dressed in fancy, but comfortable, clothes. Tucked in a sophisticated holster, a pulse pistol could be seen on his belt.

Hiro shook his hand and grinned, saying,"Eh, well the universe is pretty peaceful nowadays. Not manyships contracts to uphold or anything, figured we might as well see what this one's all about. Im actually Hiro myself, and this is my lieutenant Sara." He motioned to her as she nodded. "Sssso, you said you wanted to hire some of us?"

He shook their hands with a firm hand and looked them in the eye.
"Yes. I just started a corporation, Veritas & Zelini. We wish to become one of the major technological suppliers on the Plane. As yo usaw i nthe contract, I want somebody who understands other cultures and planets. Someone who can watch my back. Can I get you anything to drink?"

Hiro and Sara shook their heads, and politely declined(for they drank not), but Jessie looked to Seth and Anise, who whispered something to her. "Uhm, do you have any red wines? I'll just take any old beer you've got, Im not picky, but my friend is apparently high class. And the quiet one wanted a...Gargle Blaster or something? Never heard of that one...Uhm. Thank you though in advance." Jessie said, as Anise gave a almost imperceptible smile at the mention of Gargle Blasters. In any case, figuring he wasn't finished, Hiro and Sara waited for the man to continue.

Veritas nodded slowly, somewhat surprised. He pulled back his sleeve to reveal a wrist mounted Nova Phone and clicked a couple of buttons.
"Barkeep? Glass of house red, bottle of lager, and a... Gargleblaster? To my office on the double." A chirp came back confirming, and Veritas severed the call.
"I apologize for the seating, I wasn't expecting so many of you." He said this as he seated himself behind a light wooden desk with a large screened computer on it. There were four chairs arranged in front of it.
"Please have a seat, though." he said, taking a small data stick from his wrist phone and inserting it into the keyboard of his computer. It booted up instantly.
"Now then, on to business." He said, his mood changing slightly. He adjusted his tie as he clicked about on his computer for a few seconds.

OOC:Sorry, sorry, been a bit hectic over here lately and I didn't think it'd affect my ability to be online as much as it apparently has. Uhm yeah, just assume that Hiro'd have worked out a deal with them to have all of the Mercs hired or something for now. Would still like to continue this topic and all but I get that we need to get things moving along, maybe just have any continuation(when/if Im able to do so) take place obviously before the other topics.

Anise gave a almost imperceptible smile at the mention of the Gargleblaster being sent up, and the three mercs found a place to sit and wait while Sara took the closer seat to their prospective employer(Hiro deigned to stand and allow his friends the chairs rather than take one of the four himself).
"No, you're alright. Normally its just me and Sara, but from what you said in your message I thought Jessie's team might be well suited for some of your jobs and thought you might want to see them yourself. Probably should've known you weren't expecting many people though." Hiro said as they were finding their seats and the computer was starting, after which he waited on his new employer to mention the business itself.

"Well, you saw the contract. But it appears your company is a bit bigger then I expected. How many of you are proficient magically?" Veritas asked calmly, directing his attention at Sara and Hiro. The door slid open behind them, and in stepped the barkeep carrying all the drinks ordered.

"Most of us are proficient in some form of magic or another. If you want to know exacts, including those of us here there are currently twenty members of our band, all with their own magical specialties...Twenty one if you count Flora, however she's not a extremely good mage and usually acts as more of a support operative than a field agent." Sara said nonchalantly as the other three accepted their drinks graciously. Anise in particular gave the barkeep a small nod and a tip for her own, secretly a tad surprised they even had what she ordered.

"Well... I am usually a little more conservative, but as I have said, you were all highly recommended. Mr. Hiro, how would you feel about me recruiting your entire squad?" Veritas asked with a small smile.
