A VE appeared at the Frezzi Station and sent out a message to the Mechera.

<<Urgent. Must drop off Refugees from Citadel. Thousands if not millions of Anrufe wiped out. I repeat, urgent. Must drop off refugees from Citadel. Thousands if not millions of Anrufe wiped out. Citadel was lost. Member known as Assassin is still at large.  >> The VE was new, something the Mechera had never seen before.

Given the unknown type of Data Intelligence program, and the exact message received, the Mechera took it...Less than favorably. The phrasing of the message made it sound like these were Anrufe Refugees seeking asylum in the Mechera Empire. They did not send back a message response, but instead armed the weapons on the defense and military stations, readying them to strike the apparent foes to cripple the Anrufe's morality further. They did not yet strike, however...The 'refugees' were not close enough to ensure the greatest destruction.

The VE realized what it had said wrong and sent another transmission, this time clarified. "This is the Virtual Entity Serial Number 04 of the Neo Narrikian Empire, Dolos Series. I come requesting asylum for Narrikian Refugees who have been liberated from control by the Anrufe. The planet Citadel was recently destroyed as a cost of liberating them unfortunately, but still the method worked and they are safely off that planet."

Warily the weapons systems went back to peacetime readiness. It could dtill be a trick, perhaps the AI had made a slip of the tongue(so to speak) earlier and was trying to get a cover, but if it really was a allied AI system it would be...Diplomatically unfortunate for the Mechera to slaughter them.

[Please proceed with refugee-carrying vessels towards the center of trade-node seven. The high activity and ship traffic in the area should serve to keep them relatively safe and hidden in the event that you were followed. A Fortress-Class Super-Capital Harmony-Branch Ship will be on its way to process the refugees and act as a momentary haven shortly. From there they will have access to shuttles to the non-Hostility-Branch Government stations orbitimg Frezzi, if they wish to find their own accommodations or visit any restaurants, amenitues, and other such things while they will be staying at the Mechera Capital.]

Immediately when the VE got that transmission it paused and then sent another transmission out and NET windows opened up, hundreds of them. Corvettes carrying, and frigates carrying the refugees who had been saved out of the clutches of the Anrufe arrived in the area. Each frigate had the people in heavy chains though to prevent them from causing any trouble if they were brainwashed by the Anrufe. Lucien did not trust his own people which was kind of a shame and that is why several Shinobi units were on board each transport.

A few hours after they went into the Trade-Node(which I'll clarify is space between several stations that have tons of ship traffic moving through them all the time, not a station itself), a Fortress appeared to recieve and process the refugees. Once the ships landed into the Fortress' Docking Bay, Aegis Contingents surrounded them with thousands of normal Mechera military personnel guarding the exit ramps of the refugee ships. The entire hanger was under both Anti-Magic and a Pseudo-Magical Magic-Jamming field that worked by scrambling any magic that made it past the AM into raw magic, stopping any spells from being used. Several flying hologram projectors created messages telling the refugees to "Stay Calm" and "Follow the instructions of all Mechera Military Officers". The soldiers instructed the refugees to stay calm and proceed in a orderly fashion in triple-file lines towards the processing centers. These structures were temporary enplacements constructed within the Fortress' massive, massive hangers to allow the Mechera to issue temporary, limited citizenships to the refugees and get data on them. There were hundreds of thousands of them in total...Or would be anyways, when they were all finished. Still, some were operational, it would just be slow-going until more were completed. Once a refugee made it to one of these facilities, their names, birthdates, bithplaces, magical signitures, fingerprints, retinal-scan and a sample of their DNA would be taken, AAM anything temporarily confiscated(to be returned upon their leave from the Empire or naturalization as permanent citizens as well as proper licenses to own such a item), as well as a device afixed to their backs. This device was a combination of a tracker, a bug, and a AM device, along with a few other things as well. The purpose was to ensure that none of the refugees, who may or may not be Anrufe Spies, would be able to effectively enact a attack upon the Mechera Empire. Attempts to forcibly remove the device would result in it stabbing the spine of the refugee and injecting a toxin into it, which would cause total paralysis until repaired within Mechera Custody in a medical bay. Any attempts to remove someone else's back device thing would make THEIR'S go off as well, it should be expressly noted. These would be removed when they either left the Empire or became naturalized citizens. After all of this, the refugee would be escorted to the Residential sector of the Fortress, where they'd be shown their assigned room(families, for a loose definition of the word including only those the people identified with, were grouped together or closeby one another so that they could remain together). After that, they had their rooms and were free to explore the ship, visit amenities, get jobs, leave for Frezzi's stations for whatever purpose...Ect. As long as their actions were legal, they'd be allowed to do it.
