Lucien's Training
« on: October 02, 2012, 01:30:38 PM »
Lucien would find himself led into an empty, small room of wood. The only exit was the one he had entered from, and he would find the door to be locked. There were no windows. Furthermore, he would find teleportation and portals to be useless to him, and magic would also fail him. A few moments later, a heavily armored man, not Konjan, entered the room.

"Give me one reason," he said right off the bat, "Not to blow your brains out."

Lucien turned his attention to the man who was threatening him. While certain abilities were useless and pointless for him to use Lucien did not need them. This was because he had evolved past the normal Narrikians and adapted technology plus learned a new skill set. AM Fields could not even contain or restrain him due to what he had learned how to perform.

"Simply put, if you did try to blow my brains out it would result in an international incident. Plus even though this room has an AM Field or similar I am not helpless."

"SHUT UP!" the man demanded, waving the gun around, "I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Right now, we have an entirely massive fleet preparing to attack your planet. Why? Because you tried to attack our emperor. Or do you claim to excuse the actions of your subordinate?"

"I was well aware of your little plan to attack, but Adrian was not going to do ANYTHING to your emperor. Did it ever once occur to you that Adrian was and still is in some ways a pure human meaning any of the stuff you could do to him could likely kill him? Why do you think he even carried such tech at all huh? He had no reality warping ability of any kind. 0.  Nada. Zip. Zilch. Get it?" The idiocy of this man, accusing Adrian of attempting to kill the Emperor. Adrian was not going to have tried anything like that. He had only been armed because of the manual stating he always must carry at least one weapon on his person. This had been instituted after the loss of the VSA. Lucien closed his eyes and psionically reached out sensing for the Fire Storm Academy. A tear came out of one eye. "No, it cannot be."

"We can make it all stop," the man smirked, "We won't attack your people at all. We won't do anything to you. We may even help you fight the Anrufe, like we said we would. We just need you to give us one thing. One thing. We want access to all the Vionnix technology. Including their shielding technology. Why? So we can shut it down when we attack them."

Lucien considered it and then hit the ground in immense physical agony all of the sudden. What he had sensed?no Vionix would not do that to their own people. Lucien looked at the guy with the gun near him with hollow eyes for a moment. "The Vionix are attacking the Vionix as far as I can tell. Most likely they've modified their shields from what I have studied unfortunately, and their weapons as well. "

"You think I'm Vionnix?" he replied, laughing, "Wrong. I'm part of the K Empire, buddy. Now, give me what I want or we will destroy your home."

"What I was saying you idiot was that something major just went down at the Fire Storm. Some Vionix, but not the current just attacked the Vionix there and murdered all of them and the Narrikians there. It is safe to say giving you that information now would put the Vionix at a considerable disadvantage against their new foes." Lucien then sighed and said to him. "Look. Let's just cut to the chase. I am not going to betray Miamore the one who saved me from the DAIS Armada. And since she likely wants the Vionix not to be betrayed by me, I am not going to betray them either. But you won't attack. And there is one good reason you won't."

"One word, and just the first name of said reason. Silas. "

Lucien had read about that in his father's notes over eight years ago, best to use it now.

"Yeah, whatever," he replied, pointing his gun right at Lucien's head. "Any last words? Like, you know, maybe the Vionnix's secrets? Final. Chance."

"No not really. I am not about to betray them to the K Empire. So go ahead and pull the trigger. " Lucien was adamant about that because of the fact a certain Admiral had saved his life. Yes he owed the Vionix a debt that he could not currently repay them. Of course once the war was over he was going to repay them somehow for saving his life from the DAIS. The DAIS should go down with the Anrufe, but he did not have the skill to remove them from existence.

"...Kay," he replied.

Without saying another word, the man lowered the gun, turned, and walked out of the room, likely leaving Lucien speechless. A few moments later, Konjan, still dressed in his mercenary armor, entered the room, sitting in a chair across from Lucien's. Konjan's old eyes stared into Lucien's for a long time before Konjan finally spoke.

"I must apologize for deceiving you, Lucien. We were testing you to see how you would react under pressure. It was the only way we could be sure that you will not betray us or the Vionnix. You are now ready to begin your training. Tell me, Lucien Dolos. What do you know of me?"

Lucien looked at Konjan and said to him. "I know next to nothing about you. But it was as I said. Adrian did not make an attempt on the life of your emperor, but was a pure human. Given that disadvantage even with the strength enhancers he had and the vitality serum I gave him it was wise of him to always keep a weapon on his person. The Fire Storm Academy has fallen to the hands of some sort of rogue Vionix at the moment.  Fortunately the problem seems to have resolved it. Do you have a phone? I need to make a quick call to ensure you don?t get attacked." Lucien was ready to be trained.

"Phone?" Konjan replied, pausing for a moment as he detected the new arrivals outside the city, "Ah, yes. Right. We'll pay your friends a little visit before we get started. I would also tell you to rest assured. Your friend Adrian has been pardoned in full. He is free. Come, let us take care of this misunderstanding."

The two would appear at the gates before Silas, the guards, and Ryan.
