The K Empire, upon receiving the invitation, was forced to make an important decision. They were, as of this week, one of the empires who had agreed to join the War Of Perdition. The Anrufe's demise left little time for festivities, but it was important, even in times of war, to keep up appearances. Besides, everyone knew that these gatherings were actually excuses for powerful people to get together and make deals among each other, and the K Empire needed all the help they could get in this war.
So, the question was, which empire leaders would attend on behalf of the K Empire?
Kaleb COULD go, but it would certainly be better if he didn't. Fiske was on his way to Luna City to prepare a fleet for the final battle in the war. Cole was currently off with his grandfather and was refusing the demands of the palace to come back to the K City. Elizabeth could always go. However; in the end, it was decided that it would be best if Julia Tyris, mother of Kaleb Tyris, went on behalf of her sons. Who knows -- maybe she'd drag her husband along as well, if she could find him.
