Lord Blade, the Keeper of Exodus
« on: October 09, 2012, 03:33:40 PM »
Character Name: Sirius Blade
Age: Unknown for certain, estimated well over a Hundred Thousand Years
Gender: Male
Race: 1/4 Scholar (Embodiment of Wisdom) 1/4 Fearic (Embodiment of Fear) 1/2 Non-Genesis Dragon Sage
Appearance:
Alliance: None as of yet
Personality (one paragraph minimum): Having been gone for many thousands upon thousands of years, Sirius is a very naive character and knows very little whatsoever about the current world. Although because of what he is, he loves to gather information and is very good at retaining knowledge passed onto him. Other than that though, he is a very dark person and gives off a slightly malicious aura, treating most people with disdain and looking down upon them. Under his armour of disrespect, he is actually rather sad to know that his own Race had changed quite a lot and to know that almost none like him exist anymore.
Inventory (Weapons, Equipment, Etc): The Chain of Exodus - A long, bronze chain that is covered in glowing red and white runes. Upon paying the price, this chain gives the wielder Exodus Magic.
Combat Level (Average of magic level and physical strength. If you don't know what to do here, don't fill it out and the staff will help you.): 5
- Magic  Level: 6
- Physical Strength: 4
Character's History (Minimum 3 Paragraphs): Sirius was once a very powerful Dragon Sage, he rose quickly in the ranks of the military and learned all that he could. This was one thing that made him able to rise as quickly as he did. He wasn't just a Dragon Sage, he had been blessed with the power of two embodiments and he was feared for a few reasons. After many years in command though, he learned of something that he just had to follow, it was something that would give him more power and that was the one thing that Sirius cared about more than anything, power.

The thing that Blade learned about was known simply as Exodus for now, it was an incredibly powerful type of magic apparently and it caused The Sage to go and hunt for it, abandoning his soldiers in his search for this power. Somehow, he managed to escape his former Sages and left quickly to get what he wanted and spent many, many years looking for Exodus.

It took a long time but eventually he located the weapon, for that is what he thought it was. Instead, all he found was a chain and he took his rage out upon the surrounding room. Afterwards, the pedestal where the chain sat was destroyed, the chain had been cast away and the room had been smashed to pieces by the Dragon Sage's rage. Once he had calmed down, he looked over to the chain and it whispered to him. It promised him what he wanted, what he desired and what he wished, but all for a small price. Being so power hungry, Blade listened to the chain and took it up before binding his soul to the weapon and it told him what to do.

Sirius appeared upon his homeworld once again, though this time it was not a thirst for power that shone in his eyes, but of blood and he tore into his own soldiers with no remorse. Wielding a magic that had never been seen before he was almost unstoppable until a magic rivaling his own was revealed and used upon him, the fight was epic and it left many dead afterwards but in the end, Sirius lost to his former lord and was imprisoned with the chain he was wielding. His task had been completed though and the bonds upon Blade and the Chain were strong enough to prevent his awakening and magic, for a while though.

At present time, Sirius awaits under a mountain in the Sage Dimension, the bonds upon his body and the chain weakening. The Chain could talk once again and it whispered to Lord Blade, it whispered sweet things if only he woke up and listened and the Dragon Sage stirred slowly, his own body was reacting to the weakening bonds, it wouldn't be long now before Sirius Blade was free... and Exodus returned to the dimensions to wreak havoc anew.

Okay, I love the idea, obviously, and I think it's quite brilliant but I do need to ask what my fellow staff members think first.

Chain sounds kinda like it be Cursed, though Im doubtful your aware of my Possessed/Cursed "race" anyway. Unfortunately I believe you already have a level 6? Theeeeee not Incarnation errr whozamagit...Oblivion was their leader? Cant remember exactly what it was and its like 4 AM so bluh. Anyways ja, I think you have a Level 6, and I personally...To put it mildly I'd say dislike characters starting out as 6s. Also I think we need some background on why he was chosen as the champion of two Embodiments.

I do like the character though, just have those issues above.

It wasn't magic level six though, it was physical if that counts then I might have to change it but I don't believe it does :/ And that was Misery and they are the Horsemen of the Assured. Also, the character wasn't chosen as a champion, I believe I was told that two embodiments could have a child which is what happened with the Embodiment of Wisdom and of Fear and that child then had a child with a Dragon Sage, creating Sirius here.

If ya read the thingermajig, it says Magic Level:6. But by what yer saying Imma guess its a typo, either way I had to call it out just in case it wasn't. And as for the other things, yyyyep, thats fine, everything's in order. Thought he was s'posed to be a champion or something since it said 'blessed' and all in the bio, just had to be certain.  Aaaaaaapproved!

No, wait! Misery has Physical 6 but Sirius is supposed to have Magic Level 6 so he would be my first level 6 magic.
