The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend

In a brilliant uproar of magenta, space seemed to literally explode above the space graveyard that made up Sovereign as trails of flames mixed with space debris fell downward in wave after wave of color, frightening, yet at the same time completely harmless. Amongst the beautiful show of beauty, there in space floated none other than Kurai, her great wings outstretched to their full 15-foot wing span, with her tail feathers to match. Each and every feather was alight with the same blazing magenta fire.

"I wish to speak to one of the leaders of the Anrufe." the statement was sent through open telepathy loud enough for the entire planet to hear, yet the tone held no vibe of hostility in it at all despite the fact Kurai held her usual malicious grin in place. "If one is here, I shall be waiting here patiently. If they are not, send word."

OOC: It's not a planet. It's a space graveyard. In space.

Before the Levithan could react accordingly, space began to distort around Kurai as the physics of the area seemed to start shifting, altering. Asteroids that were a mile away would suddenly disappear and reappear miles more away as objects began to expand and twirl and COLLIDE UNTIL BAM.

Kurai would find herself in the middle of a dark room with no visible windows or doors. A voice spoke out to her,

Kurai raised one eyebrow as she observed the spectacle that had just happened. Well that was new. Too bad for whoever had arranged it, Kurai was not one to show fear for something so ... uncreative. "Trying to show off, the Anrufe really need to learn new tricks," Kurai smirked a vicious grin that nearly resembled that of a vampire as she walked forward.

"Put simply, I wish to join the Anrufe," Kurai said as she got right to the point, uncaring of who she was addressing "my reasoning for such madness, is exactly that. It is madness. That, and Hikaru was always against your little group. That would mean to join it, would be doing the opposite of she herself would do, and as her Negi, that is exactly my goal. If you accept..." Kurai snapped her fingers and in a flurry of magenta sparks, a hologram of 2 planets, 1 'moon' and one ruined Japae appeared. It was New Sodom, Cruor, and Bula Bula, which served as Cruors moon.

"I can make it worth it."

There was a strange silence for a moment. Finally, after what was a notably extended period -- several minutes -- the voice spoke again.

Hold on.

Then, more silence, until a whisper came from the darkness behind her -- the voice of Assassin, a very masculine voice that seemed to radiate a strange darkness within it.

"Really? You think you're worthy of joining us?"

Yet, if she turned around, she would see nobody there.

Kurai simply smirked as the hologram faded, wasting no effort to turn around as she replied, "Of course."

From the darkness behind her, small bugs began to crawl across the floor, seemingly attracted to her scent. The voice from the darkness continued speaking now, radiating darkness which seemed to completely trap the atmosphere of the room in place, instilling the very existence of this figure.

"I accept."

Assassin would appear right behind her now. Would this likely scare her? Probably not. But... His tongue seemed to reach out towards her neck as a blood lust filled the room.

Assassin would find his tongue blocked by feathers tougher than diamonds as they lined Kurai's neck blocking access. With one quick flick of her wings, anything behind Kurai would have been sent flying into the nearest wall as the primary feathers hardened to the likeness of blades.

Kurai simply laughed as her expression became manic.

That was impressive.

All across Kurai's feathers, a pink goo -- the same KiaB had used in his day -- began to spread, coating Kurai. Assassin was in front of her again, completely unharmed, an amused look on his face as he glared at Kurai, looking her directly in the eyes. This was unexpected. It was not what he had thought would happen at alll. He loved that.

"I wouldn't struggle. It won't harm you. But I know you. I know everything about you. You'd enjoy the pain. I know, because I would too."

(OOC, agh, ignore the face on that image, I forgot I had doodled over it, FIXED)

"Correct about pain," Kurai rolled her eyes as the goo covered her, simply allowing the slimy substance to drip from her feathers and spread across her skin. When it reached her face she simply ran a finger across her cheek and down to her tongue, in an almost sexual gesture...

...And then flames appeared, bright gold mixed with violet, holy fire and god fire combined, blazed into life from her body and melted the goo, heating it up and letting it fall from her form like hot wax.

"Sadly, wrong about everything else. Are we done playing yet?"

The goo had done it's job, though. Her skin was now covered in a black pigment. It slowly began to seep into her skin, marking her as an Anrufe member. As it entered her body, her skin would return to normal. Assassin was glaring at Kurai, eyes intent. He had no use for her here anymore. However; he could use her elsewhere. The question was... Where?

"You will be teamed up with another negi named Reli. I think you'll like him. He has info on your first target. He's currently on the planet known as New Westhot... You may join him there. I'll assume you're skilled enough to find him. It's a small planet."

"You make this simply too easy..." Kurai rolled her eyes as she looked bored. "Perhaps I can liven things up..." With that she disappeared.
