I dont own all Blood Mages, this is true, but since I do own a race(well sub-race(sur-race??? Erm...Whats it called whenthis it can be applied to multiple species?)) that primarily uses Blood Magic, I figured I might as well make a few general spells. Anyone else with a Blood Mage(s) can feel free to draw from any spells or whatever I post here and add spells of their own if they want.
Bloodletting: Named for the ancient(quite actually harmful) medical practice, Bloodletting is a technique Blood Mages use to access their blood without needing to having a open wound to draw blood from. Basic methods vary, but typically a Mage turns the blood incorporeal and draws it outside of their body for use, turning it back corpreal after while maintaining control. Thats pretty much it.
Blood to Iron: Another basic spell, this draws the elements and compounds out from the blood, with the exception of iron, then binds the iron together. Typically its used to create simple weapons or armoring from a little bit of the Mage's own blood, but its not unheard of for particularly sadistic mages to transmute the blood inside a opponent's body into metal in order to both kill and freeze their movements.
Blood to Steel:A advanced form of Blood to Iron, instead of drawing everything but the iron out it transmutes the rest of the elements in the hemoglobin into whatever the other ingredients of Steel than just iron is. Dont...Think I have anything else to say, its a better spell.
Hemorrhaging: A cruel spell used by blood mages who either like hurting people or just dont like using their own blood. The Mage draws forth their enemy/very occasionally ally's blood from their bodies, ripping through tissue, organs, and skin to bring it out for use. To be entirely fair, its a very pragmatic move, especially if the mage exsanguinates their victim/s, as it provides them with quite a bit more blood to use than they'd otherwise have(well, more than they'd have without endangering their well-being).
Yeah yeah I know most of these are pretty obvious but I cant think of anything more clever at like 1:30 in the morning. Mostly just a place for me or anyone else to add Blood Magic of their own if they want to.
