Long, Lost Home

"Enau, uoyopv eytjus et dereh ley-"

The scientist stopped dead in his tracks. Looking over at the old, dusty seat next to him, he noticed that he was alone. Then, of course, he remembered that he'd died a long, long time ago. The Suvian's brain had the impulse to finish the last lingering sentence he'd had on his brain before death.

Standing, he realized that he was in a shut down part of the city. Everything was dusty. He'd been working on a project here, thousands of years back. Improving the AI's... He'd have to find out what had happened to that project. If Juages had stolen his code, he w-

Wait. What year was it? Was the Suvian Calender still even in use? Unlikely. He knew his entire race had been wiped out. He'd dealt with many of the younger generations in that wretched hole. He knew it was unlikely that there was anyone else in the city. Everyone else would have probably left long, long ago, and then died cold deaths.

Stepping onto a teleportation pad on the other side of the room, he waited to be teleported to the control room when he realized that, of course, if that sector were shut down, the teleportation pad wouldn't work. He sighed as he started towards the door. It was a long, loooong walk to the center control room, and, seeing as the lights were off, he ran into walls. A lot.

From the smallest detail down to every piece of technology there, the man would find that the part of the 'city' he was in would be exactly as how he would remember it, preserved to the exact state it was in when the Suvian had died (disappeared, what?)
Though the rest of the city-planet had been advanced and evolved to unimaginable feats, this part of the city had been left untouched, labeled 'The Ruins of the Suvian' in respect for the original owners, and  kept in its perfect, though truthfully unperfect condition that it had held when the planet was first re-discovered.

Only wanting to improve upon and the city, and tasked with caring for it, Rev and Gen had left the old city ruins alone in respect and merely built 'atop' it the many layers of Lus.  Because of that, this was the lowest part of the planet one could get to, it was the very 'core of the core' and the final layer of the planet only known to the higher AI and the kids.

Above the ruins, would be the core that was known to all AI, higher and lower, and was somewhat of a way station for them. And above that, the control rooms of the entire planet, where Rev, Gen, and their guest Relle were currently at with AMI.
Further above that room would be the inner city and and built above that layer was the outer city. There were no real differences between the inner city and the outer city as both were equal. It's just some wanted to live further in protection, where some liked to be closer to the stars.

Around the entire city was an outer shell, which served as the 'atmosphere' of the planet. To the people inside the planet, it was transparent and they would be able to see the night sky, as well as the false day sky. To the people outside it, they would see only a metal encasing made of a strange material, that could project images onto its surface like that of a giant television screen.

The man would find that if he wanted to get anywhere on this planet now, he would have a long walk, a long, long walk as the ruins were very deep down.

And walk he would. Of course, eventually, he started to grow tired. Still, he kept walking. He walked for hours. Then, finally, he started to realize something. He needed water. He was going to die without it. He needed nourishment. He was... Far too deep underground, and what little magic he had was hardly usable at the moment -- he'd forgotten how to use magic after hundreds of years.

Finally collapsing on the ground somewhere in the ruins, he passed out.

And then, the scientist awoke once more, now... Much... Different. The zombified Suvian started searching the halls of the huge planet, looking for flesh to feast onto.

But as he was still in the ruins far beneath the rest of the planet, he would find no flesh to devour.
