Those who had died here would find themselves strangely revived with new bodies.

As Volimar burial rituals involved the cremation of the deceased, the return of all the Valyrians was rather unexpected. Those on the planet thought this was a boon from their goddesses and sought to spend as much time as possible with the deceased before the gods took them away once again.

The Dragons however, sensed something strange but kept quiet for now, their wits sharpened and their fires and other elements at the ready.

The zombie apocalypse had began. Overnight, the dead turned corrupted. As their bodies and spirits became suddenly incompatible, the revived would be helpless as their bodies went crazy. Infecting. Killing. Biting. Eating flesh. Everyone who died, regardless of rather they'd been bit, would find themselves suddenly transformed into zombies due to the Spirit Realm failure. Needless to say, things were taking a turn for the worst.

The dragons noticed first, which was surprising, they turned their more powerful breaths, teeth and claws against the Valyrian Zombies but they would just revive of course. The dragons, and riders, some of whom had been lost, were faced with a tough decision.

In the end, they rounded up all the dead and placed them into an abandoned holdfast, barred the gate and placed dragons atop the walls. Should any of the Zombies attempt to escape, they would find themselves torn apart by runes from the Riders and breath weapons from the dragons but who knew how long this would last?
