The zombie apocalypse had began. Overnight, the dead turned corrupted. As their bodies and spirits became suddenly incompatible, the revived would be helpless as their bodies went crazy. Infecting. Killing. Biting. Eating flesh. Everyone who died, regardless of rather they'd been bit, would find themselves suddenly transformed into zombies due to the Spirit Realm failure. Needless to say, things were taking a turn for the worst.

As the dead turned, the military and citizens looked on in shock. It was almost like a bad horror film, what with the shambling corpses and all. However, the military, though caught offguard, was very much able to contain the bulk of the hordes, using particle shield technology to fence in the large masses as sharpshooters took out the stragglers. Civilians were evacuated from hot zones on hover vehicles and armoured personnel carriers.
