{EVENT} The Elder Of The Court
« on: October 26, 2012, 01:49:11 PM »
E R A / V I L L A G E

The Era Village was quite a special place. It had been constructed as a home for the survivors of the wars that nearly completely wiped out the Dragon Sages and the Phoenix Sages. It had been built out of love, just within the Era Valley of the Sage Dimension. It had been a peaceful place where magic was practiced with ease and comfort.

That is, until a five year old Hikaru Tyris went insane and tried to destroy it.

It had survived though, outside the flow of various timelines, but still well within time itself. That is, it was well isolated from what happened outside its borders. And it didn't really have any borders to speak of, for that matter. Once one stepped through the village gates, they'd find themselves right back where they started.

So, what a bizarre place it was for embodiments to suddenly appear. As they were suddenly, forcefully evicted from the Void, they, and whoever else who might have been in the Spirit Realm at the time, would appear there in the Village, crammed inside a very small village house.

"Ow, what the hell?" Heartbreak muttered, rubbing his head as he looked around at the very cramped room of embodiments, "What just happened?"

Leirra immediately walked out of the room, taking stock of where they were, though really she simply hates overcrowded places. "Era Village? That's where that Reaper sent us? Why here, of all places? To show off him and his friends repairing it?"
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

"...Im afraid thou hadst me at a loss. None of these events hath been the work of my own Reapers. Nor art we, nor any friends of our own, repairing any damage done here.  I must ask, what art thou talking about? The Reaper asked the apparent Embodiment, having heard her speaking as he appeared in the village himself.

Do you have what it takes to change your destiny, to defy FATE itself?
Let us test the limits of your abilities, and see if you have the WILL to do what no one else tries.

She frowns at him, looking away a moment. "That kid who was stirring trouble, who was he?" She asks, slipping back into the powerful, magic-laden voice the Perfect once used to govern their creations with, albeit with none of her Perfect powers amplifying the command. Realizing, she clears her throat and smiles a bit. "Sorry. Old habits die hard, and that is one of the oldest."

"Perhaps we should be looking for more reapers," a voice creaked now, a voice of an older man who had, till now, gone unnoticed. From somewhere in the back of the crowded room, the older man stepped forward, clearing his throat -- and coughing. A lot. When he finally got over his cough, he continued speaking, his old eyes glancing around at the other embodiments with respect and wisdom.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Elder of the Spirit Realm's Court. I am... What you may call a moderator among the judges... I-" he stopped, coughing a bit more, "I fear that the man we saw earlier has taken the Black Judge and intends to find the White Judge as well. As for he, the White Judge... There is no telling where he has escaped to... We must find him and p-p-" Coughing. "Protect him... And... We need reapers. To help control th-this... Problem."

Leirra looks to the man, casting a small spell to help ease his coughing for a bit. "My name is Leirra Tseiroc, Embodiment of Love. The Black Judge will not be taken so easily, and I fully intend on going back into the Void to help him. From your words, I take it this rupture of the Spirit Realm isn't quite the same as the previous ones?"

"No," the Elder replied, "By no means... is it the same. Young Reaper... I by no means intend to ask that you alone round up the dead and bring their spirits back to the Spirit Realm... You will need help."
