Hik, this doesn't quite excuse what you said either. That comment was quite insulting, and while not as bad as what Orph said, that makes it no more appropriate. As you said, you aren't being paid, so you honestly dont need to provide a reason if you dont want to draw it. Or if you do want to provide a reason, you can do it without being insulting.

Saying Pride doesn't fit is one thing. Thats not necessarily insulting. However, typically speaking, saying a person is arrogant or egotistical(which...To be fair, the second you only implied, but even so) IS.

By the same logic, I've heard it said that you're power abusive and a rather mean person, to nicely paraphrase. And Im quite certain there are rather unflattering things said about myself behind my back, though I dont personally think any of you are saying such. Even if someone believes something is true, that doesn't make it any less insulting. Hell, even if it actually IS true it can still be insulting.
