The Second Strike
« on: December 04, 2012, 03:21:11 PM »
Walape had been decimated by the attacks of the mechera with Anti Matter. However the Narrikians were just about to start.  All across Walape crystal pillars and pyramids appeared. These were not ordinary ones but served a particular and also dangerous purpose. See these pillars and pyramids were gathering energy, absorbing it while at the same time recreating atmosphere on this planet.  The pillars were building up energy to unleash as a wave of energy, yet something was off about this. For you see the energy once released was going to target anyone with the implants of the Anrufe on this planet?no matter where they were and eradicate them from existence.  Portals opened all across the sky and lasers and missiles and rail guns and coil guns and plasma all came out of the portals. Corridors of Light opened up as well releasing more fire power directed solely at any of the remaining structures of the Anrufe. This attack was to start the war. Yet attempts to trace the portal would fail due to the portal being a gateway teleportation portal. In short, a modified Vortex was what had been used.  This attack was one the Anrufe likely had never prepared against. Legions of VE of the Paladin Series were deployed to the planet and began to attack while scholar series among them began to try to access and hack the Anrufe Technology on the planet. If this worked the Narrikians could lay claim to Walape and have their second world at their disposal.  AT, and AHS Fields were raised to stop the Anrufe from gettng reinforcements. The MWCA were used to bombard the planet with even more fire power. Likely the Anrufe were going to have to surrender Walape.

Seeing as this was the third attack in the last week, not to mention the zombie incident, the defences were well armed and ready to battle. The weapon system was now under control after an extensive challenge of getting the AMR offline, and the Anrufe were aware the moment the Narrikians began their attack. When the Anrufe noticed that the Narrikian attack was rebuilding their atmosphere, they decided to... Well... Do nothing. Shields would keep base energy from being absorbed, so all was perfectly well. The Anrufe structures were under-ground, and the planet was already now a boiling ocean due to the destruction of the atmosphere, so the Narrikian attacks did little.

On the other hand, Anrufe technology was not so easily hacked, seeing as how it was well encrypted -- especially seeing as the Mecherans had managed to get past the computer defences. The Anrufe had already beefed up their security. The Narrikians were only really helping the Anrufe. Any attacks that managed to hit the ocean floor would encounter soil shielding and the structure of the planet remained in tact.

The annihilation wave was now complete and so all across the planet?even under ground all of the Anrufe personnel were going to hear a loud ringing that seemed to be tearing apart their brains as their bodies slowly started to break down. The break down accelerated the longer the noise was allowed to continue.  See if the Anrufe did not find a way to stop the source of the noise, which was what was rebuilding their planet?they'd all die. The heat of the boiling ocean began to be leached and gathered into an energy sphere. Once enough had been gathered and all the heat had been converted into energy, the sphere disappeared containing the power needed for the next stage of the attack.  Near the Core of the planet, two feet from it opened two portals. One portal shot out a drill missile which attempted to drill into the core. The other shot out a goo like substance, but white. This Goo was different than normal goo however as it served a different purpose. The goo was like an amoeba, programmed to devour everything in sight. In this case, the Core was on the menu.

The shielding easily kept the ringing out. When two portals opened near the core, though, that's when it was time to get serious. Immediately, a darkness covered the portals, not only programmed to keep the attacks out, but to keep the portal open and stop anyone from tampering with it. Pink goo moulded itself from the darkness as two pink hands started to stretch through to the other side of the portal.

The shielding resisted the ringing which then adapted to the shielding and bypassed it by using the properties of Matter Phasing to pass through the shield. Once through the sound which was actually not a sound, but a wave of energy made to target and attack anyone with the LAP Communicators inside of their bodies continued the attack. As for the hands of Pink Goo they?d be reaching into nothing, the dimensional sea to be exact as the attempt to attack the portals had led to the input being altered to the dimensional sea. The result of this was of course that soon the entire planet was going to be flooded with dimensional radiation which was going to cause the Anrufe quite a bit of problems. At the same time, the nearby sun was hit with a Carbon Detonation Laser.  Scans of the planet were done and large white Xs were put on parts of the planet. The attacks then all stopped. The Anrufe had won or so it seemed, but the Narrikians were going to be back to attack again. The atmosphere stopped regenerating and went away completely?.to another point in space.

It wasn't that simple. The entire soil of the planet was shielded, so adapting was naturally very hard and the adaption would have to happen every few miles into the surface. The ringing would likely not be able to last by the time it got underground -- it was relying on energy, and the energy had to run out eventually. The LAP Communicators were well secured technology that could not be interfered with so easily -- that would ruin their effectiveness. The planet wasn't flooded, due to the dark barriers on the portal that were also keeping the enemy attacks out.

The Carbon Detonation Laser would have been a problem. The Anrufe also had access to that technology, of course. They knew that the Carbon Detonation Laser was designed to bring dead stars back to life, but this would make the sun stronger than it was already. When the atmosphere disappeared, the Anrufe got to work placing new wards in the sky to start building a new, artificial atmosphere, but it would take some time to become effective.
