Sorry about that.

"Sorry about that."

Nek sighed a deep sigh as another copy of him appeared elsewhere on the planet, near Rin. "I'm not used to this whole multiple-timelines-different-copies thing yet. Master Jay asked me to hear you out while he deals with a problem... So... What's up?"

The young girl tilted her head to the side and stared wide-eyed at Nek, dropping her stuffed bear in surprise at the sudden appearance. Now there were two people to help? Rin smiled sweetly at the new arrival and pointed to herself, "Rin looking for brother. Brother with Jay." The girl then pointed to Inari," Lady help Rin find Jay to find brother. Where is Jay?"

Nek turned his head to see Inari, who had apparently been staring with a blank expression at Rin for days, which is the only way you could really explain why Rin had been here for days. Inari, finally snapping out of her days-long daydream, snapped back to reality, the ditzy Kitsune Templar's eyes showing realization when she saw Nek appear. Moving her long, orange hair out of her face, she greeted Nek kindly with a huge hug as she yelped out, "NEK! I haven't seen you in FOREVER!"

"Yeah," Nek replied, surprised by the hug, but returning it, patting his old friend softly on the back, "It's been a few months. How've you been, Inari?"

"Good! Oh!" She smiled, crouching down to Rin's level. "I'm sorry, little girl, I was sort of caught in a day dream. I can be a real klutz sometimes. What did you say your big brother's name was again?"

Rin merely blinked, "Rin doesn't know brothers name! Mommy just say 'Go get that doll' and said he was with Jay. That's all Rin knows." The girl shrugged and then returned her thumb to her mouth.

"Uh... Right," Nek replied as Rin's book appeared in his hand. Opening it up, he read through the pages, finding the name of Rin's brother -- Kuro. And her mother, Kurai, as well, who Nek knew Jay had fought extensively during the Plexan War and later during the P3C. Rin's book quickly disappeared, and Kuro's appeared in his hand as he read up on -- Oh. Well that was... Very strange.

"He's here," Nek informed Inari, "An orphanage in the city."

"Right," Inari replied before facing Rin again, "Alright, Rin! Let's go get your brother, okay?"

Picking the little girl up, Inari gave a warm smile to Nek before disappearing all together, off to the orphanage.
