I'm still planning on watching this. Why not, I've already sunk so many years into the series anyways, whats another year (Judging if most fans hate it then its only going to make it a year.)

Also my question is this is picking up after the original, how will that be possible? They shut down the supercomputer and XANA, is there any news on how he is returning? And who the hell is the new girl?

Don't disagree there but I'm personally going to finish it. I started Code Lyoko, and no matter how bad it gets I'm going to finish it.

Its  not the acting that is horrible in my opinion. Its the voices, they don't fit. I think the original voices might have fitted alittle bit better. The voice acters don't sound as thought they were giving their A game and they are kind of monotoned. I mean Ulrich was running from William and was talking like he was standing still. He should have been screaming.

XD Oh shit , that is awful. And yeah, I agree with Hik, why is Aelita suddenly ethnic? Last I checked they were all white people. And yeah, the acting is so fucking bad. It kind of looks like a Syfy film.

If they're doing it Live Action, and they aren't even using the same voice actors...why are they using voice actors?
Honestly I could care less about the Live Action aspect, if done right it could still be pretty epic(though its easier to do 'special effects' in a animated series since you dont have, y'know, reality slowing you down or anything), but...What purpose does it serve to edit in new voices, again?

UNLESS of course this isn't Cartoon Network America's doing and they're just redubbing the original footage(which would be French, seeing as how Code Lyoko was made in France of course). In which case I'll probably actually watch the episodes I haven't and probably give it a shot. Actually I'll probably give it a shot ANYWAYS because the CG parts look pretty cool, buuuuut notthepoint.

Well hot damn. I never tohught I'd see the day, after years of calling for it, we got season 5! I'd watch it for the sake of nostalgia, it looks perfect for it's target audience. We all need to remember that they're aiming for a new generation of Lyoko fans, not the previous one. So naturally it's not going to live up to our expectations.

There's a girl at my college who looks like odd with his hair down. Blond hair and a purple splotch, always makes me laugh. Why couldn't they have done that here? Odd was the one character we always wanted to see live action. Oh well, hope it sells well.
