Kaleb Tyris was dead. So too was FIske Tyris. Cole Tyris had departed from the Empire and given up his right to the throne. Elizabeth Tyris was the next in line for the throne, and this required her full attention, so she ended her secret collaboration with the Narrikians -- the Anrufe had supposedly been defeated anyway. She would be inducted to the throne in just a matter of days, and that left her spending her time preparing now as her grandmother, Julia Tyris, ruled in her stead in the meanwhile.
