Made me cry. ;n;

It's a beautiful animation. Everything was fantastic.

Watch it. Even if you already have. Watch it. Now.

It sucked. Let me quote myself from EQD.

Quote
Okay fine.. Since my comment seems to have been singled out of other negative comments even though it wasn't as bad...
I wasn't originally going to give constructive criticism, but okay.

1. Luna and Celestias voices are unfitting. The VA of Celestia changes this at times, but she was unable to keep it constant. Luna's however was nothing like her counterpart of the show, and not just in tone either. In the show the voices we've been given for Luna have been First Season: Regretful, longely, and she sounded somewhat teenagerish. Second Season: Dignified (key emotion), Prideful, Archaic, and when she toned down the yelling, the same voice as Season 1. Season Threee Opening: Still dignified, but unsureness in the wake of her sister, the same type of acting as was seen in Season 1, as she only shows this personality in her voice around her sister. Season Three Episode: Still Dignified, prideful, archaic, added with an air of mystery.

The way Luna was acted out with the VA in this? Nothing could be garnered from her voice. Not her sadness, even though the animation gave away that she was somewhat saddened in the speech and sad at the end. ...She didn't sound archaic at all as she used modern day speech and words. And her dignity, the thing she shows the most in MLP was missing. There was no hint of pride, or royalty in the voice of this VA. There was no authority that Luna usually carries in her voice at all. For a VA to voice Luna right, that's one of the more important things of her character.

I felt the VA for her was too flat, and not trying hard enough for the role of royalty that is the Princess of the Night.

2. The Teacher was off in so many ways. Even 'kind' teachers still sound like an 'adult.' But in this you could tell right off it was someone younger trying to fit the part due to the fact, again, just like with Luna, there is no authority in her voice. Teachers, even the nice ones still have authority so their students listen to them. This teacher was too much like a student trying to sound like a teacher and didn't work well.

The rest of the voices I have no problem with, Snow Drop, and the other fillies, sounded right for the ages and personalities they were going for. The mother was the best VA of the animation though as she had a motherly sounding voice, understanding, and sounded like an actual adult.

...As for the characters themselves. Snow Drop I agree with most of the other critiquers here, it seemed like the animation was pushing the 'I'm disabled and helpless, and teased' angel too far, and trying to force the viewer to feel sorry for her instead of giving enough time and letting them come to that emotion themselves. This brings her closely to a mary-sueish acting.

...Yet again, Luna and Celestia seemed OOC as well though that could have just been their voices.

I read your little critique. It only sucked for you because of how anal you are towards luna. No one is perfect at x thing. You enjoy it or you don't. But please don't spread your drama from EQD here.

And yes, I saw your sissy spat to Zedrin. So don't even start here.

Doesn't mean the voices didn't lack in everything. God, don't you know anything about cartoons?
And I'll critique whatever I damn well please anywhere, thank you very much.

Also, the animation was choppy as well in many places, Luna's mane, movement when walking, leg and wing placement. And no, you can't tell me fan animation can only get so far, as THIS person, got further in animation and emotion than Snowdrop, and they didn't even have VAing.

But yeah, opinions are allowed. So shove off Erika. You didn't make it anyways.

It's fan made so I'm more relaxed about dubs and animation. It was intended to be released in December, and I'm sure SFS tried the best they could to not make it so late that it was galf a year or more later.

Spot on voices are hard to find uunless you know how to auto tune it to sound exactly like Luna's or any other pony, and I think they had a lack of that resource.

The Animation has some mistakes, but so does the actual show. What My Little Bloopers. Nobody is perfect. So deal with it.

You didn't make it. So you can shove off as well.

And lastly, reported for privacy violation onsite.

6) No baiting. This kind of falls under no drama but simply to be clear- Don't go trying to start trouble.

You didn't make it. So you can shove off as well.

Never said I did, but I can critique it like anyone else.
Just because you went and got all buddy buddy with Marshal doesn't make you the sudden 'know-all' when it comes to animation projects or mean you can suddenly yell at people for critiquing his work.

And for that last thing, calling you names would be calling you something like 'bitch.' USING your name, is not calling you names. So, fail.

I'm not claiming that I have a vast knowledge in animation, but it doesn't mean I can point out details or mistakes in one. And clearly, I'm not yelling. Zedrin didn't teach me anything with animation, and I haven't asked him. But again, I can critique it like you did. Your argument is poorly written.

And it's not name calling, however it is bullying and harassment because I have asked countless times to not use my name. It isn't a fail if I point out that you're harassing me over a personal issue that you should respect. I'm respecting the same thing for you because, despite the fact that you're used to it, I know you hate your real name being said online. I'm respecting you. Why are you disrespecting me?
